<p>The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist must possess technical expertise in information technology automation equipment over the range of commercial and military equipment in use in the Afghanistan CJOA. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist must remain current on model upgrades to standard and unique automation equipment in use in the CJOA. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist is required to possess an understanding in IP systems, telephony, desktop/server computing and military C2 systems and their major subcomponents.The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist may be required to attend regular local meetings to keep all interested parties apprised of automation and military communications equipment accountability, inventory control procedures, improvements, and inventory control progress as is deemed necessary by the J6 Director or the COR.The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist's primary place of duty will be within the Army Field Support Brigade CRSP / RETRO yard that will serve as the receiving point for J6 automation equipment. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist will receive, inventory, and manage secure storage of ordered equipment. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist will properly log in items of equipment on standard logistics information management systems and ensure appropriate items are accounted for within the proper class of inventory. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist must be certified by the theater property book manager to provide input into the local standards and procedures for effective property accountability. The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist will be trained and current on the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE). The Automation Equipment Inventory Control Specialist will support materiel inventory upgrades and enhanced accountability procedures as directed by the J6 and the Commander of the AFSB or his designated materiel inventory lead.</p>

<p>The C4 Support Specialist must possess technical expertise in systems architecture and network design, and may be called on to participate in and lead design and implementation of technology projects as directed by the J6. The C4 Support Specialist must be capable of providing clear and concise communications to high ranking military leadership in potentially stressful conditions, all while maintaining a professional demeanor. The C4 Support Specialist may be required to attend regular local meetings to keep all interested parties apprised of network and communications/data systems changes, improvements, and project progress as is deemed necessary by the J6 Director or the COR.The C4 Support Specialist is required to possess an understanding in IP systems, telephony, desktop/server computing and military C2 systems. The C4 Support Specialist will support the installation and maintenance of wiring, including, but not limited to copper (network and telephony), fiber optic, and coaxial cabling inside of the RC buildings, and outside wiring plant for the compound. The C4 Support Specialist must have an extensive background in commercial telephony switching support, and significant experience with secure telephony technologies in use throughout the CJOA. These include, but are not limited to: RedCom IGX telephone switches, KG-84, KIV-7A, and KIV-19 Encryptors. The C4 Support Specialist must also possess a working knowledge of IP communication and troubleshooting as providing these services for the US forces infrastructure is considered part of routine daily function.The C4 Support Specialist must have strong credentials in IP network routing, switching, security and telephony and be capable of applying those skill sets to newly fielded DoD systems in support of the warfighter. The C4 Support Specialist will be responsible for regular maintenance of all RC-X owned C4 equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, encryptors, radios, PC's, and servers.The C4 Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of all current Audio and Visual Systems residing in RC-X owned buildings. The C4 Support Specialist will troubleshoot and correct deficiencies and related problems pertaining to A/V systems within the USFOR-A South area of responsibilities. The maintenance and deficiency correction will include, but is not limited to, on site repairs to A/V equipment, fabrication of A/V cables for replacing bad cables and for unforeseen A/V and communications requirements and validation of systems being re-fielded. The C4 Support Specialist is responsible for operation of Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment. Experience with Tandberg 1000 and 1700 Desktop VTC Units is essential for the successful support of the Video Teleconferencing C2 systems. The C4 Support Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating with the J6 to facilitate the return of all items under warranty to their appropriate repair facility, as well as, the re-shipment and reintegration of said equipment back to its originating location.The C4 Support Specialist will provide high-tier desktop support, PC maintenance and server administration. The C4 Support Specialist will perform workstation connections, configuration, integration, and testing. The C4 Support Specialist must have a working knowledge of IP networking and an in depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory. The C4 Support Specialist performs preventive maintenance for hardware and software such as equipment cleaning and vacuuming, cable/connection inspection, software virus protection, and configuration integrity. The C4 Support Specialist must have an extensive background in operation, installation and maintenance of high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF), and ultra high frequency (UHF) radio systems. The C4 Support Specialist must be capable of erecting and maintaining the associated antenna systems with the arch radio. The C4 Support Specialist will be capable of using an encryption fill device to update COMSEC as required. Additionally, any COMSEC must be stored in accordance with regulations and be destroyed per guidance from the J6. Ability to work in a team environment and a working knowledge of the overall mission is required for the success of the C4 Support Specialist.</p>

<h3>Duties and Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for establishing and implementing an effective inventory management program including (but not limited to) Shelf-Life control, HAZMAT, material management, stock rotation, and other processes and procedures that result in more accurate and continuously improved inventory control methodology</li>
<li>Supervise, manage, and train warehouse staff as well as taking disciplinary action when required</li>
<li>Manage shipping, receiving, transportation, and delivery</li>
<li>Maintain an effective Cycle Count Program</li>
<li>Forecast and strategic planning of inventory management methods, warehouse design layout, capacity planning, distribution strategy, resource utilization, risk management, etc. balancing productivity, quality, and cost.</li>
<li>Timely updates and management of all systems data and documentation including proper and accurate records maintenance</li>
<li>Effective management and motivation of warehouse personnel to maximize performance and resource utilization</li>
<li>Conduct employee performance reviews</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with officially established RGTS/USAF/RSAF/DOD policy, procedures, and contractual obligations</li>

<h3>Job Summary</h3>
<p>Provides leadership and guidance for Flight Instructors and Assistant Chief Instructors. Serves as the instructor of record for all flight training courses; ensures compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) in the training of students and the supervision of flight instructors.</p>
<h3>Job Tasks & Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Certifies all training records, graduation certificates, stage and final test reports; monitors each stage throughout student training program.</li>
<li>Conducts initial proficiency check of each instructor hired; conducts annual recurrent proficiency checks in accordance with FARs; ensures compliance with FARs.</li>
<li>Supervises flight training activities, Assistant Chief Instructors and Flight Instructors. </li>
<li>Monitors flight instructor performance and makes recommendations. </li>
<li>Advises Assistant Chief Flight Instructors.</li>
<li>Coordinates with scheduling/dispatch activities related to scheduling of students, instructors, and aircraft for flight training. </li>
<li>Monitors overall student progress and ensures availability to students desiring advice or consultation.</li>
<li>Maintains currency with regulatory and procedural changes in the flight training environment; reviews and updates all aspects of the flight training program; ensures training materials are current.</li>
<li>Schedules and leads meetings with staff; meets with prospective students and parents as required; maintains a cooperative and communicative attitude with airport officials and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) personnel; performs other duties as assigned. </li>
<li>Creates standardization and evaluation of ground and flight training while ensuring continuity of flight education.</li>

<h3>Experience and Qualifications:</h3>

<li value="0">Must possess a UK or equivalent Fire Officer's Certificate preferably from a Military or Civil Authority Airport. </li>
<li value="0">Should hold a recognized IT certificate preferably as a Fire Instructor. </li>
<li value="0">Educated to secondary school certificate. </li>
<li value="0">Must be fluent in English (EE) or English &amp; Arabic (SN/ON). </li>
<li value="0">A minimum of 7 years Fire Service experience in the last 10 years, preferably including at least two years in training. </li>
<li value="0">Possess a UK HGV license or equivalent. </li>
<li value="0">Must have completed a Fire Fighting, rescue and emergency First Aid Course. </li>
<li value="0">Completion of a formal breathing apparatus course and possession of an Instructor Certificate is desirable. </li>
</ul>
<h3>Roles and Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li value="0">Prepare for and instruct classes at the FTC including practical training exercises. </li>
<li value="0">The language of instruction will be English for WO classes and Arabic for others. </li>
<li value="0">Conduct scheduled remedial training as required and carries out other fire fighting training duties as directed by the CFI. </li>
<li value="0">Produce student assignments and prepare and assess test, end of course examinations and practical exercises. </li>
<li value="0">Review existing course content annually and prepare amendments as authorized. </li>
<li value="0">Supervise the preparation of training aids within the limits of the resources and skills available. </li>
