Joe Jackson Wants Michael's Money

According to TMZ, Papa Joe requested from a judge to get a monthly allowance of Michael Jackson’s estate. The papers were filed today in LA County Superior Court, Joe is claiming he's "entitled to his own independent family allowance." The papers, written by Joe’s manager Leonard Rowe, claim Michael used to give his mother Katherine Jackson up to $60,000 a month to live on and that she was supposed to split it with Joe. Joe claims Michael's estate has "earned more than $100 million dollars in the first seven weeks following Michael Jackson's death" and is "well able to afford a family allowance for Joe Jackson." Joe says he has $15,425 in total monthly expenses, including the following:

$2,500 eating out

$2,000 in air travel

$3,000 in hotel bills

$1,000 in groceries

$1,200 in rent
$50 in charitable contributions

Only 50.oo for charitable contributions? A mess.

THE RIHANNA INTERVIEW: MY THOUGHTS

I know, i know it's time to move on from this but since its hot topic and i feel twitter didn't give me enough characters to speak i will say my piece.

Rihanna's interview for me was very honest. I know Chris stated in his interview earlier Friday with Sway that he would prefer her not to give details. I think it was only fair, being that he's had several interviews. Though i wholeheartedly believe and KNOW that people can change. I feel that his continuous statements, tribute songs, and etc are further abusive and hindering her from moving on. My honest opinion about Chris's feelings are from his body language in interviews. I feel he's sorry, however he's more concerned about his career. THAT'S MY OPINION. While his friends are rooting for him and speaking on his behave, at times. They only know what he has told them. So they can't speak. As i recall the car was a two seater. As well as this situation.

Anyway, i believe that, Rihanna was never given a fair amount of time to deal with this problem and i think its happening amidst the album release to help her take the elephant out of the room when she goes on all her promo stops. Yes the timing is funny, but so what! So is my time of the month, when i think I'm about to ..(you know), So is my car getting towed when i have no money. None of us know her intentions or whether or not she even really wanted to discuss the matter. Yes, she may have left out some parts of the argument, and some people are stating "She's lieing because she had hit him, just makes sense". Well in my years on this planet alot doesn't make sense but i accept it. Why because I CAN'T PROVE IT! I find it to be an ignorant excuse to make it okay for him to beat her and for her embarrassment to be made a laughing stock. I have friends whom have been beat and I've watched with my own eyes, they didn't hit the guy first. He just couldn't take her continuous nagging. (Not saying that this is the case). Both of them come from abusive backgrounds so this to them and many was/is normal, everyday life. It's a chain reaction, for what they both already knew as love. it's hard to break without help.

i've been there, I've had counseling, I've worked with PADV. Yea someone can state that maybe i don't have a foundation to stand on. But when you don't know the whole story or the persons in the situation your comments and judgements aren't brick layers in building a home for that foundation. It takes a lot for a someone male or female to admit that they are victims of abuse because A:People are always going to say "What did you do?" B: Its embarrassing to say you chose that person, because people look at you as not being "smart" enough to make good choices C: You will continue to be victimized because you are now label "the woman or male that got beat up."

I applaud Rihanna because you can tell by her tone and body language she hasn't fully dealt with the situation. Not only that but to realize that this situation is bigger than her career, this situation is bigger than Chris Brown, this situation is a silent killer. I commend both of them for saying their pieces, but i have empathy for them, no sympathy. (If you need to understanding the difference look them up) Only because i don't have sympathy for my own life, but i can put myself in both their shoes.

REAL TALK: I feel the way i feel because I've lived it. I was sexually molested as a child, that's where all the statistics for my life started to fall out of whack. The movie "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez, is my mother exact story, give or take a few things and more intense beating. For years, and and even still to this day, i slept with headphones on when i go to bed, because sometimes those nights of screaming, were too much for me. As a kid, that was the way i blocked it all out. Going to school and just living everyday like my mother wasn't safe in her own house made me so emotionless to the world. (People will tell you I'm very nonchalant, it's not that i don't care. because i do!) I always said that would never be me.... Until i got into a relationship where i was continuously verbally and mentally abused. I knew it wasn't love, it took for one night i told this person that i didn't want to have sex, and he held me down to the bed and basically raped me. That's what it took, for me to wise up. For some it takes worse. But i found myself afraid, alone because i wasn't going to tell anyone and i just kept saying, YOUR HEADED WHERE YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER BE!! Which is exactly why to this day i say "Never Say Never" Funny thing is after that, i stayed, for awhile longer. I made every excuse and i have no heart feelings, but i remember EVERYTHING. You don't have to provoke someone to hit you, I'm the type of person who find some things so unimportant that its not worth arguing about. But again i found myself with someone once who, felt differently. We got into it, i started to just leave and he grabbed my arm extremely tight. My first thought was "this n**, done lost his mind." But when i turned to look at him eye to eye, he immediately let go. I may not be able to hang if you hit me, but i will find someone to handle it. SIMPLE AND PLAIN! I think, until you've experienced abuse on any front, you don't know or understand what it takes to fully heal, from something or someone clawing away at your spirit. Until you acknowledged it, accept it as your past or present, and the people around you do so as well, it will eat away at you and it takes a lot to tell yourself. You didn't deserve that! It took a lot to get me "Swag Back" Because we're already trained mentally to be the reason why this happened.

I don't care what anyone says, Hitting your partner (male or female) is NOT OKAY! Through my experiences I've learned that Body language is everything...Everything, only someone who's closed minded and blind doesn't notice body language. People always wonder how i can read people so well after a minutes or days of speaking with them. It's their body language. It says so much about people,it's amazing. Gestures, expression, eye contact and reactions. People usually think I'm quiet or not friendly, in the beginning of meeting me. I will admit, I am in the beginning because i have to feel you out, to open up. I have come in contact with some really extreme people in my life, I've learned how to weed people out. Just by being aware and listening. People will tell you everything you need to know. I promise you!

Again this is all my opinion, and i glad it's being discussed because it's helping bring a closet issue to the forefront. My only thing is people need to stop continuing to victimize and demean those involved. I honestly feel that to an extent, both Chris and Rihanna are victims. But this is all my opinion and part of my story, No!, i aint asking for no points, nor do i need a Fu*king cookie, JUST Take how you want to.

So... The other day, I was watching the view, and one of their "hot topics" was the snippet of the Rihanna interview that aired on Good Morning America. Now we know that the full interview airs tonight, but it seems as though A LOT of us have A LOT to say about the small portion of the interview that we have already seen.

On The View, and other media outlets people are insinuating that Rihanna hit Chris with a "low blow" by saying that she was embarrassed that she fell in love. My admonishment to those folks are to A: Listen closely, and B: Put yourself in her shoes for a moment. She didn't say she was embarrassed that she fell in love with Chris, she said that she was embarrassed to have fallen in love "with that type of person". Meaning? She was embarrassed that she fell in love with the TYPE of man who would physically abuse her, the TYPE of man who in a heated moment would disregard any true love they ever shared in an attempt to feed and satisfy his own selfish emotions, the TYPE of man who could disrespect her in such a way. Think about it... If you were in a physically abusive relationship... as a matter of fact I'll put it on me. If I were in a physically abusive relationship, I would be embarrassed once people found out the type of man I chose to be with. I wouldn't feel like the abuse was my fault, but I would feel some type of responsibility in choosing the person and even more in choosing to stay. I wasn't raised to desire that type of man, and neither were most other women. Would you be embarrassed?

There has also been back lash about her saying "eff love". Again, here is where listening skills become imperative. She wasn't saying eff love in general. Her point was; when your health, safety, integrity, and well being are all at risk, you cannot take a chance on losing all of those things/aspects of yourself because you feel like you're in love. When YOU are at stake, your love for self needs to overcome your love for that other person. So yes... in those instances... eff love!

People are wondering what took her so long to speak up about the incident. Here is where we need to realize that yes, legally and even physically she is a woman, but this is a young girl. honestly she is. She's not a 45 year old woman who has lived a little and can see life as clearly. She is a 21 (?) year old woman who has A LOT of living to do. A young woman who probably cannot immediately comprehend the emotions she initially experienced directly after this incident. Not only that... NO ONE WOULD STAY OUT OF HER FACE LONG ENOUGH FOR HER TO COPE and try to get a handle on what was going on inside of her.

Some say that she's only speaking out now because her album is coming out... If this is the case, it's smart marketing. If it isn't, it makes sense because this kind of thing does take time to not only get over, but also to deal with. And obviously during all this time she wasn't sitting in counseling sessions and writing in journals to help herself through this... Her album will be out in a couple of weeks, and I'm sure she spent a lot of time working on this album.

I'm happy she's come to a few realizations about herself, life, and love. I think it's beautiful. It's sad that this had to happen for her to come to these conclusions, but that's the beauty of life... We cannot all have the same experiences, and sometimes it takes heavier situations for some of us to learn than others. It's definitely beautiful that she can send such a powerful and positive message to millions of young girls.

Honestly I'm tired of this Chris and Rihanna saga. Let's all just let them both learn their lessons, live their lives and grow up. It's what we all need to do anyway.

Either Miley Cyrus is dumb as a doorknob, doesn't realize that she sings pop music, or is a FULL FLEDGED PUPPET, because why would you say this! ..."I've never heard a Jay-Z song. I don't listen to pop music," Cyrus answered. "['Party in the U.S.A.'] is not even my style of music. I'm really blessed for it to have done as well as it has. Totally blessed. God has definitely put me in an amazing position with amazing people." So you mention Jay-Z in your new song "Party in the USA" but you dont know who he is?

Rue McClanahan recovering after bypass surgery

Rue McClanahan, known to many for her character on 'Golden Girls' is “doing great” after a bypass surgery performed yesterday. According to her rep, Barbara Lawrence, the actress was first diagnosed with acute cardiac illness on Monday during a routine physical exam.
“He listened to her ticker and didn’t like what he heard,” Lawrence told EW. “But [the surgery] couldn’t have gone better. Everything went according to plan.” McClanahan, remains in the hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery and begin shooting an undisclosed movie project in January. [source]

As i watch both of these videos its really bothering me that now after Rihanna is ready to speak Chris is ready to tell it ALL as well. It's extremely childish and this took place last year. Whats is also pissing me off even more is that ALL of Chris's friends, dancers, etc fell that they have the power to say what really took place. (Location where i view their twitts on the situation)From my understanding everyone that thinks they know only know from Rihanna or Chris. Because as i recall they were the only ones in he car. So people grow up and realize there are three sides to every story, Chris's side, Rihanna's side and the truth!!!

Congrats to French-Senegalese author Marie Ndiaye, she recently won France's top literary award for her novel "Trois Femmes Puissantes" ("Three Powerful Women"). A story about the interweaving lives of three women set in France and Senegal. Not only did she win but she is the first woman to earn the prestigious Prix Goncourt since 1998. And get this the prize is ONLY worth 10 euros ($14.80) in cash, but she will get much more in publicity-generated sales.

Well it looks like Marcus Jordan has made headline yet again. This time it's because the University of Central Florida has just lost a reported $3 million dollar endorsement deal wit Adidas after M.J.’s freshman son, wore a pair of his dads shoes during an exhibition game on Wednesday. Marcus says that he will only wear his dads shoes because they have special meaning to the family. UCF which was in the last year of a 5-year deal with Adidas has released a statement saying they were disappointed. Well at least UCF won the game, beating St. Leo, 84-65.

This week i was really searching to find who would be this weeks fashion style hit of the week. As i watch MTV"s MTV European Music Awards live stream, Katy Perry appeared across the screen looking FABOULOUS!!! Katy's style has seemingly started to mature into a very rocker sophistication. It looks great on her. She's also extremely aware of her body and what works for her figure, but she doesn't always wear the same style each time. She's willing to take a risk. Which is something that i love for women to do. The black hair i think also helps. Something i always tell people black hair looks so good on every type of woman.

12 dead, shooter killed in soldier attacks at Fort Hood

The U.S. Army says 12 people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting rampage on the Fort Hood Army base in Texas. The Army says one shooter has been killed and two others apprehended on Thursday in the shooting and all are U.S. soldiers. Please pray for the families and friends of these soldiers.

I don't know about everyone else, but i have been very weary of A. Keys recently. I mean, her two newest songs, I'm not really feeling. I'm usually not one to really get into celebs personal lives unless them put it out, but i feel some kind of way about her messing with Swizz Beats who is still a married man. He and his wife Mashonda still haven't divorce. I'm the type of women who believes you need to take care of your sh*t before you move on to someone else. Also one has to wonder, yea he's with me, still married but how does he really feel about his wife? I mean, he hasn't divorce her yet, which means the love line is still open. Ten years of being with someone, a child and feelings. I'm sorry Ms. Keys i can't rock with you on that!

But you look great in these pics. Maybe that's why she giving the finger! She knows the streets are talking.
