Books on Audio why I like them so much and will tell you why!

Have you ever been on a long plane, train, boat or bus journey they can be so long and draining and there is only so much you can take of bad movies, newspapers or listening to the radio which plays the same songs every other hour.

I have just recently returned from New York and had a great time actually the best ever! For the flight over which was seven hours I decided to download some books on audio to pass the time and because I was heading to New York I downloaded Downtown which is a book on audio about Manhattan by Pete Hamill and his narration of the book leads you on unforgettable journey through the city he loves from the Islands Southern tip to forty second street, combining a moving memoir of his days and nights in New York with a passionate history if its enduring places and people and because i was listening to his story instead of reading it i felt i was alongside him on his journey.

I downloaded three books on audio for the plane ride over the Atlantic and its the best thing I have done for a long journey and I have tried a few things from football manager on a laptop, iPod loaded with my favourite songs to those classy films they show you on the plane or boat but these books on audio made the flight go that little bit quicker than usual. Also these books on audio they have some great actors, politicians and sports stars telling you these stories Sean Penn, Stephen Fry, Phil Mickelson to name but a few.
