I was just thinking: Is it better to run through the rain or walk with normal speed?

I always find myself either running or walking extremely slow. Nothing in between. Sometimes the stubborn person in me doesn’t want to get all soaked, other times I decide I want to be lazy.
If you run, you’ll splat muddy water all over your pants, shoes and back, but if you walk you’ll get wet. But really, do you get less wet when you run or walk? I’d love to try, but I can’t seem to collect the correct data (sweaty armpits and such…).

Say you were about to come home from school with your rucksack on, and it suddenly begins to rain. Then you notice that you’ve forgotten to bring an umbrella with you.
What do you do: Run as fastest as you can back home, or walk like nothing happened hoping your books won’t be ruined?

So I gave in – I installed Wordpress. Much to my surprise, it wasn’t all that complicated. Even though I’ve spent 3+ hours trying to get it to look like FanUpdate, I’m still satisfied.

I’ve been quite the anti-Wordpress (not that I have anything against the script), simply because I was so stubborn that I didn’t want to abandon FanUpdate. What I like the most about Wordpress isn’t all the dynamic bits and bops, no – I like the “pretty” permalink. Ah, how how nifty it is. No more confusing ids! That’s right, the odd ids of FanUpdate made me change.

Though, I’m not planning on converting my pages to Wordpress anytime soon. I think I’ll keep the old blog entries, for my own amusement.
