Mike and Mel are friends of Jen and I. They live in Vail, Colorado. Since they have been in town the winds have not stopped blowing. It’s been tough to get them out fishing. We decided to just go out in the boat and play. First we went and caught pins and pigs. The winds were about 20 mph. out of the east. The sun was out. The tide switched to outgoing about 3ish. Once the tide switched the bite turned on. Jen hooked up first and landed a 36″ Snook. Then Mel hooked up and landed her first Redfish ever, it was a biggie, Great job!!! I caught a Red as well. Mike missed a good hit and then that was it the bite just shut off. No one around with live baits were catching fish. Get this though, They were getting fish on bucktails in the middle of the day. I would of not believed it, if I didn’t see it with my own eyes. Well it was getting dark and we had dinner plans so it was time to get. Mike and Mel it was a lot of fun seeing you two these past two weeks. Hopefully we will make it out to Vail this winter.

Sorry to the people that follow my site on a regular basis. I have not been blogging lately, Charters have been slow, Regardless I have been fishing quite a bit. The Reds are in the Inlet, of course. The snook action was really good last week. We limited out pretty much every trip. The Snook are feeding on Pigs, Pins, and of course Croakers. The Croakers are getting a little tougher to find. There is a full moon right now and the fishing will be slow for another day or two. The tide is high at 7:55 p.m. look for the switch to happen around 10 p.m. The bite should pick back up towards the end of the week. OFFSHORE- If you can get out? The Dolphin bite was strong last week on the couple days that it was fish able. The Snapper bite has been really good as well. Capt. Bill from the Rogue Wave had a great day on 11/2 with Red Snapper. He told me that they were catching them around the 80ft. range. They caught a lot of fish, even releasing nice keeper size fish after there limit.

They were definitely ready for another attitude adjustment. Eric has a condo in Sebastian, so I picked them up at Capt. Hiram’s. The winds were a little hard out of the south. We started off catching our pigs, pins, and croakers. Once the sun went down and we had enough bait for the night we made our way to the Inlet. The tide was outgoing. It was changing around 11 p.m. We started off in the mouth fishing for Redfish. Well, let’s just say the fishing was on fire. One of them hooked up on every drift. The Snook bite was on. We limited out on Snook and even released two keepers. They also caught 4 or 5 Snook that were way to big. I lost count of the number of Redfish brought aboard. What a great night of fishing. Man, do I wish every night would go like that. Thanks again Eric, Paul, and Dave for choosing Attitude Adjustment for your fishing needs. Hope you enjoyed your Saturday with fresh Snook and football. See you guys next time….

Seems to be the story of this season. It was a fun trip, filled with action. Thanks Allan it was a pleasure fishing with you.

Hiram’s. Bait was no problem. Seems to be a lot of small pigs and pins though. Croakers are still in good numbers. The weather was good, a little windy and one small rain cloud. The tide was switching around 9 p.m. We fished the last part of incoming. We were just catching a lot Redfish for awhile. Dave caught a keeper Red on his first fish of the night. He eventually caught a Snook that was of keeper size as well. Al was hooking up and landing Redfish one after the other. Stacy was getting in on the action occasionally as well. It was a great night of action. We were getting low on bait. So I was saying hey last drift. Stacy hooked up and it was a screamer. Sounded like a Snook! Dave hooke up as well, Redfish on! They were doubled up with lines crossing. They both did a great job of keeping the lines clear. Stacy landed her fish first and it was a perfect 31″ Snook. A few seconds later Dave got his fish in and it was a Red. What a great way to end a trip. Thanks Stacy, Al, and Dave for a great trip.

Stacy booked me for two trips this year. The weather has been changing. You can feel the fall in the air, feels nice. The tide is switching to out going around 8:30 p.m. We met up at Capt. Hiram’s. Bait(croakers) are still in in good numbers near the Wabasso bridges. After bait catching we made our way into the inlet. The tide was slowly moving in. We fished the mouth for a bit and had no luck until the tide switched.

As the tide started to move out. We started to hook into some fish. I believe Stacy actually landed the first fish , a Redfish that was 27 1/2″ , almost a keeper. Al was hooking up as well with Reds. The reds were super thick. It was tough to get a bait through them with out getting hooked up. Al lost a couple of Snook before catching one that was about 1/8″ shy of being a keeper. It was Red after Red. Al did put a keeper Snook in the boat. He also caught one that was 34″. After catching to many Redfish to count we were running low on bait and it was getting late. We decided to call it quits and try again the next night.

Fishing was rather slow. The weather was a little windy and the tide was incoming all night. We had no problem with croakers. They are still pretty thick. Once we started fishing the inlet the tide was coming pretty strong. We fished the mouth most of the night. Mike had one hook up and he landed a keeper Snook. That would end up being the only fish caught all night. Thom missed two or three and I missed on as well. I seen it jump and throw the hook. Well we fished it right up to the tide slowed and we ran out of bait. One fish, one keeper! Good job Mike, Thanks again Thom !

Rick has been out with me before. It was Allen’s first trip. The weather was perfect for fishing. No rain in view. The tide was high in the inlet at 10 p.m. We met up at the inlet boat ramp. We headed south and caught our croakers. Once the sun went down we headed back to the inlet. The tide was incoming. We fished the mouth and on the very first drift, Rick hooks up! fish on! he pulls it in and it is a perfect 30″ Snook. Stoked! One drift! One fish! It was either going to be a great night or just that one. Rick hooked up the next fish as well, it was just a bit small, 27″. There were a few misses and a few drifts with no hits. Allen finally got into the game and put a nice keeper on the boat, 31″. Rick caught big Snook that was 35″. We got a good pic and released. Allen caught another nice slot sized Snook as well. We moved around and tried to catch a Redfish or two. We never could find them that night. With there limit already in the box, they decided to call it quits once the tide slacked. It was just before 11 p.m. That was a good night. The bite was strong. Good size fish! Thanks again Rick and Allen, it was great fishing with you two. See you in October!

We started off from Capt. Hiram’s at 8 a.m. We went straight to catching croakers for the switch of tide to outgoing at 9:30 a.m. The weather was nice, just a little windy with a light chop. We caught enough croakers for the entire day. The Inlet was packed with boats. We pulled right up and got a spot on the rip.

It was Joe who who hooked up first with a oversized Red. After a quick photo, we safely released the Redfish. A few minutes later Joe hooked up and landed a 32″ Snook. Just slid in the slot. Jesse also caught a oversize Redfish. Well the bite was pretty slow, only a few fish were being caught from the other boats around us. We decided to call it quits and try again for the night bite.

I picked the three back up again at 8 p.m. from Capt. Hiram’s. The tide was incoming. We still had plenty of bait and went straight to fishing. Jesse hooked up first and landed another Redfish. Joe was fire with the Snook. He put the next two fish on the boat, they both were slot size Snook. That gave us our limit on the day. Nicely done Joe. We stayed and fished for a bit until the bite was over. Most of the fish were in the mouth. George thanks for the pork sandwich it was awesome. Jesse, Joe, and George, thanks again as well for the support. It was a pleasure fishing with you again. Enjoy that fresh fish.

If your looking for a Time Share then they are your guys. We met up at the Sebastian Inlet State Park’s boat ramp. Croakers were a little tougher than the norm lately. We manged to get about 4 dozen. At sunset we made our way to the Inlet. The tide was incoming. We fished the outside for a while. We were hooking into ladyfish at first. Then we found some Reds of the tip. They were all around 28 inches. Jose caught a keeper that was right on 27″. George and Jose were catching Redfish one after another. The tide switched to outgoing about 9:30 p.m. We fished inside for the switch and had no luck. George had a Snook on for bit off the north side, but lost it. We ended moving back out and catching more Reds. They caught one more Red that 25″, the smallest Red on my boat in the Inlet, ever. We were out of bait and a friend of mine Jeremy (thanks bro) hooked us up with a few pigs and pins. we fished the back point and Jose hooked up first with a nice Snook, it was putting on a show, jumping and running. He landed it and it was keeper, 30″, STOKED. George lost a nice Snook as well that came out of the water jumping. That was the night two keeper Reds and one keeper Snook. Thanks again Jose and George for fishing with Attitude!!!!
