Hello freaks, hope you all are fine.

Today i will write about world's no 1 social networking platform i.e. Facebook.

Facebook is a social networking service and Web site launched in February 2004, operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.As of July 2011, Facebook has more than 800 million active users. Users may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Facebook users must register before using the site. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists, e.g. "People From Work", or "Really Good Friends". The name of the service stems from the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other. Facebook allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the Web site.

Who Founded Facebook ?

Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.The Web site's membership was initially limited by the founders to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University. It gradually added support for students at various other universities before opening to high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. However, based onConsumersReports on May 2011, there are 7.5 million children under 13 with accounts, violating the site's terms.

Facebook Rank History

A January 2009 Compete study ranked Facebook as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users, followed by MySpace. Entertainment Weeklyincluded the site on its end-of-the-decade "best-of" list, saying, "How on earth did we stalk our exes, remember our co-workers' birthdays, bug our friends, and play a rousing game of Scrabulous before Facebook?"Quantcast estimates Facebook has 138.9 million monthly unique U.S. visitors in May 2011^. According to Social Media Today, an estimated 41.6% of the U.S. population had a Facebook account^.Nevertheless, Facebook's market growth started to stall in some regions, with the site losing 7 million active users in the United States and Canada in May 2011.

Revenue Earned By Facebook

Most of Facebook's revenue comes from advertising. Microsoft is Facebook's exclusive partner for serving banner advertising and therefore Facebook serves only advertisements that exist in Microsoft's advertisement inventory.

Facebook generally has a lower clickthrough rate (CTR) for advertisements than most major Web sites. Banner advertisements on Facebook have generally received one-fifth the number of clicks compared to those on the Web as a whole.This means that a smaller percentage of Facebook's users click on advertisements than many other large Web sites. For example, while Google users click on the first advertisement for search results an average of 8% of the time (80,000 clicks for every one million searches), Facebook's users click on advertisements an average of 0.04% of the time (400 clicks for every one million pages).
Sarah Smith, who was Facebook's Online Sales Operations Manager, confirmed that successful advertising campaigns can have clickthrough rates as low as 0.05% to 0.04%, and that CTR for ads tend to fall within two weeks. Competing social network MySpace's CTR, in comparison, is about 0.1%, 2.5 times better than Facebook's but still low compared to many other Web sites. Explanations for Facebook's low CTR include the fact that Facebook's users are more technologically savvy and therefore use ad blocking software to hide advertisements, that users are younger and therefore better at ignoring advertising messages, and that MySpace users spend more time browsing through content, while Facebook users spend their time communicating with friends and therefore have their attention diverted away from advertisements.
On pages for brands and products, however, some companies have reported CTR as high as 6.49% for Wall posts.Involver, a social marketing platform, announced in July 2008 that it managed to attain a CTR of 0.7% on Facebook (over 10 times the typical CTR for Facebook ad campaigns) for its first client, Serena Software, managing to convert 1.1 million views into 8,000 visitors to their Web site A study found that, for video advertisements on Facebook, over 40% of users who viewed the videos viewed the entire video, while the industry average was 25% for in-banner video ads.

How to make a Fake login page manually

Hello freaks...hope you all are fine :)
In today's post, i am showing you how to create a fake web page manually.
You may have heard about phishing attack.To perform that attack, you must be expert in creating phishing page which i will show you in today's post.Fake n phishing page is the same thing.
Well, to make a phishing page or you can say phisher for any site say orkut, facebook, twitter etc. is very simple task... If you dont know any computer languages then also you can create ur own fake pages very easily.... Just you need some learning capability and a little brain ;)

Basically how a Hacker get passwords using fake page or how phishing works:
For hacking using phishing method, hacker needs 2 type of files

1. index.html

2. A php file with any name say login.php

where index.html is actually a fake login page of any site that looks exactly same as the original login page on that site.....

As soon as victim enter's its username and passwords.... on fake page... it redirects to a php file created by hacker....This php file places main role to get the passwords of victim....it makes a text file and save the victim's username and password in that....also it redirects to the original login page of that site.... so that victim could not know about this hack..

To know how to create both files.....Follow the simple steps:
>> In this tut i will tell you first how to create a login.php file, then i will tell you the procedure to make a index.html file.
>> you have to follow same procedure for all the sites.... here just to explain you, in the whole tut i will take an example of orkut.com

Step 1. Creating a login.php file>
Open notepad and paste the following lines there... as save it with name login.php

http://www.orkut.com : its the url of page where the php page will redirect.... that will display to victim... after entering the username and password... you have to change it according to the site for which you are making phishing page.
log.txt : Its the name of file where the passwords will save.

step 2. Create the fake index.html Page:

2.1. first of all open the site for which you want to make a phishing page, say orkut.com..... go to orkut login page.... then right click there> save as> then save it....

check the downloaded file.... there will be one htm file(orkut-login.htm) with a folder(orkut-login_files) containing some pics, css files and js files.

2.2. Now open the htm file with notepad... and press ctrl +F and search for action... and you will find a line as shown in screenshot.
Note:in case of some other sites may be you find more then one action word... but you have to find out the exact type of line as shown in screen shot.... near which you will find a
tag and method="post" something like that.

2.3. Now replace the url written after action with the name of your php file created in step 1. also clear the line onsubmit=".." if it exists.

Now your fake page is ready....
Save it with name index.html

You may download index.html & login.php files directly for facebook page.

As ziddu doesn't allow .html n .php extension so i have uploaded both files in .txt
Change their extensions as index.html & login.php

Note: Along with uploading these 2 files mentioned above... in same directory you have to make one folder with same name as a folder was download in step 2.1 with the htm file...
also you have to upload all files containing that folder in this new folder.

So, now you should know creating phishing page :)
For phishing attack, rest steps are simple which i will write in coming posts.till that get ready with the website you wants to hack :)

Let me take you to new tweaks.Today's is about " Shutting down the windows 8 PC ".
You must be saying this tweak as STUPID :P i knw...
Let me tell you freaks that there are around 50% windows 8 user who are facing this problem.
So, In today's post i am showing you about shutting down the windows 8 system.

Below is the screen shot of windows 8.

There’s more than one way to get to the shutdown function—the first method, which is mostly useful for a tablet user, is to move your mouse to the upper right-hand corner to trigger the Charms menu (or you can use Win + C ) and then find the Settings button on there.

This is shown in screen shot below.

If you’re on a tablet, you can access the right-hand menu by swiping the top right corner of the screen.

The second method is to simply use Win + I (that’s a capital letter i ) and the Settings panel will slide right out with the Power button on it as shown below.

It happens that when you are creating account on Gmail, Yahoo etc., the email-id you enter of your choice already exists and you can't opt for that email-id.

Sometimes you have an email-id and you wants to check if it is a valid email-id.

Today, i am providing you a perfect answer to above problems.

Enter the email address that you want to check at the “Enter an email to try it” box and click the “verify” button. Within seconds you will get a popup with the result.

It is able to report if the email is:

· Valid – email address passes all tests.

· Invalid – email address does not exist.

· Unknown – domain accepts all requests.

· Unknown – email is disposable email address (DEA).

· Unknown – email is grey listed – try again in 5 mins.

· Unknown – email cannot be verified (other reasons).

Checking a single email address at Email-Checker.com is always FREE.

If you need to verify a list of email address in batches automatically, then they do offer a few paid packages to serve that purpose.But i don't think you will use paid service :P

How to get IP address of a website or your own computer?

My today’s topic of the post is” How to get the IP Address of a website/ your own computer? ”

Before I go for the topic, let me first clear you about the term IP Address.

What really is an IP Address???

It is the address of your own computer or the website server computer (i.e. computer where the website is located).

In simple language, as we have our house address and to send any mail (post), that address is required. In the same way, IP Address of computer is required to communicate with any computer.

This IP address is actually a 32 bit decimal number that is written as four numbers b/w 1-255 (8 bits each), each separated from the other by a decimal point.

Example of an IP address can be 117.200.65.10

Whenever you connect your computer to the internet, an IP address is assigned to your computer automatically.

There are two types of IP address assigned to any computer connected to internet.

1. Static IP address: This is the IP address which once assigned to a computer will remain the same for that computer always.

2. Dynamic IP address: This is the IP address which changes dynamically. It changes for a computer each time you connect it to internet.

To check whether your computer have static or dynamic IP address, connect you computer to internet and Note down the IP address, after that disconnect it. Again connect it to internet and Note down the IP address. If both IP address are the same, then your computer have static IP address otherwise it has dynamic IP address.

How to get IP Address of a website?

There are two ways:

First is to get it from command prompt as shown below:

1. Ping www.domainname.com

Go to Start > Run and type cmd

Now you have the command prompt window open. Then type ping www.domainname.com

and press Enter.

You will get the IP address of the website.

Second way is to use the online service to get IP address:

Click any of the below link to get IP address of website.

Go to Link 1.

Go to Link 2.

4. Go to Link 3.

NOTE: You can also enter the IP address of a website you got above in your browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc) to open that website.

How to get your computer own IP Address?

There are two ways to get it.

First by using command prompt :

You can get the IP address of you computer by running the ipconfig command in the command prompt window as done above.

Second by using the online service as shown below:

You will get the IP address of your computer here.

2. Go to Link 1 : Here you will get details about your computer IP address, IP location Information like Country, City, latitude, longitude, ISP and System Information like OS, browser version, screen resolution etc.

3. Go to Link 2 : The IP address you get here is the IP address of your own computer. If you uses a router/proxy, you will not get the correct IP address. In this case, the IP address you got is the address of your router/proxy.

So, now you know about the IP address concept. This is the basic thing you must know to have complete knowledge of Internet working.

Let me remind you that you have seen the website above showing your all information i.e. your location information, system information.

This is not good thing. I mean who wants that their private information be tracked on the website? I guess no one ;)

No need to worry guys, let me tell you that Anonymous net surfing through proxy websites is the solution for you :) which I will cover in the upcoming posts. For the time being, don’t try to do any freaking act on any website bcoz your location will be tracked.

How to disable writing to USB pen drive?

I hope you all are enjoying my post.If not then please let me know :)

Ok..lets come to today's trick which says " how to disable writing to USB pen drive"

Most people have the habbit of stealing(copying) any information, resource they finds in their friends computer system.My friends have the same habbit ;) but now i have found the solution for the same.

Now you can disable your system to write any data to USB pen drive.

Lets start the trick...

Its a registry hack...so firstly you have to open registry editor (Type regedit in Run and ENTER)

Then Go to the below specified location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
It will look like this

Now modify the value of WriteProtect to 1.Thats it.
Restart or log off the system to see the effect.
Now when you will try to paste any file to USB pen drive...it will show the notice as shown below.

Interesting trick ;)

Isn't it???
Ok..now to enable writing the data to USB device..just set the WriteProtect's value to 0 again.
Then restart or log off the system.This time data can be copied to USB device :)

Note: Once you use the registry hack, you will have to reboot/ log off for the changes to take effect.

One should also note that if you are using this trick, you should make sure that the users are not

administrators because they could easily change this setting back.

How to hide drives for your security & privacy ?

Hello freaks...hope you all are fine and enjoying hacking :)
In today's post, i am writing about the hack "Hiding Hard Drives for security & Privacy".

There are many people who hates when someone explores their drives.

Don't worry...this tutorial will solve your problem :)
With this hack, you can hide any drive which you want.

This is a great trick you can play on your friends.

To disable the display of local or networked drives when you click My Computer.

Go to start>run and Type regedit.

Now go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

If Explorer is not there in the Policies, then create that by right clicking>new>key and name that to Explorer.

Now in the right pane create a new DWORD item and name it NoDrives (it is case sensitive).

Make sure that Explorer is selected.

Now the value to be stored in NoDrives depends on the drives to hide.

Specific value is present for the corresponding drive.
A: 1,
B: 2,
C: 4,
D: 8,
E: 16,
F: 32,
G: 64,
H: 128,
I: 256,
J: 512,
K: 1024,
ALL: 67108863
(i am providing drive values upto letter k)

Now follow the above value table.

Just add the values corresponding to the drives you want to hide.(let the sum be x)

For e.g. you want to hide the drives D,E,F; then x=8+16+32=56

NOTE: To hide all drives, modify the value to 67108863.

Then modify the NoDrives value with the x ( as shown below).

REMEMBER: While modifying the value, make sure radio button corresponding to DECIMAL notation is selected; NOT HEXADECIMAL.

That's all...It will look like in the figure shown below.

Now restart or log off your computer. So, now when you click on My Computer, things will go your way :)

To enable display of all drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item (NoDrives) that you created (as shown below).

Again restart or log off your computer to see the effect.

You can now see all the drives again.

Cool!!! Isn't it ?
Let me tell you...there is more options to hide the drives like through Disk Management etc.
But its enough for now..i will post other methods also later.

Now, go and play this trick with your friends ;)

How to boost your system performance?

Many times you have come across this Fatal error “the system has become unstable or is busy,” It says. “Enter to return to Windows or press Control-Alt-Delete to restart your computer. If you do this you will lose any unsaved information in all open applications.

You have just been struck by the Blue Screen of Death (as shown in figure).

What can you do?

More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?

Below are the points which you should care of to avoid these fatal errors.

Hardware conflict

Windows crashes due to-->hardware conflict.

Reason: Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique for each device.

For example, a printer usually connects internally on IRQ 7. The keyboard usually uses IRQ 1 and the floppy disk drive IRQ 6. Each device will try to hog a single IRQ for itself.

If there are a lot of devices, or if they are not installed properly, two of them may end up sharing the same IRQ number.

When the user tries to use both devices at the same time, a crash can happen.

Way to check problem: If your computer has a hardware conflict is through the following route:

Go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager.

Often if a device has a problem a yellow ‘!’ appears next to its description in the Device Manager. Highlight Computer (in the Device Manager) and press Properties to see the IRQ number used by your computer. If the IRQ number appears twice, two devices may be using it.

Solution:

The best way to fix this problem is to remove the problem device and reinstall it.

Sometimes you may have to find more recent drivers on the internet to make the device function properly. Go to www.driverguide.com you will get any of driver you need.

If the device is a soundcard, or a modem, it can often be fixed by moving it to a different slot on the motherboard (be careful about opening your computer, as you may void the warranty).

When working inside a computer you should switch it off, unplug the main lead and touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge any static electricity.

Bad RAM

Windows crashes due to-->Bad RAM

RAM problems might bring the blue screen of death with a message saying “Fatal Exception Error”.

Reason: Fatal error caused by RAM might be caused by a mismatch of chips. For example, mixing 70-nanosecond (70ns) Ram with 60ns Ram will usually force the computer to run all the Ram at the slower speed. This will often crash the machine if the Ram is overworked.

Solution:

One way around this problem is to enter the BIOS settings and increase the wait state of the Ram. This can make it more stable.

Another way to troubleshoot a suspected Ram problem is to rearrange the Ram chips on the motherboard, or take some of them out. Then try to repeat the circumstances that caused the crash. When handling Ram try not to touch the gold connections, as they can be easily damaged.

BIOS settings

Windows crashes due to-->Error in BIOS

Every motherboard is supplied with a range of chipset settings that are decided in the factory. A common way to access these settings is to press the F2 or delete button during the first few seconds of a boot-up.

Once inside the BIOS, great care should be taken. It is a good idea to write down on a piece of paper all the settings that appear on the screen. That way, if you change something and the computer becomes more unstable, you will know what settings to revert to.

A common BIOS error concerns the CAS latency. This refers to the Ram.

Older EDO (extended data out) Ram has a CAS latency of 3. Newer SDRAM has a CAS latency of 2. Setting the wrong figure can cause the Ram to lock up and freeze the computer’s display.

Windows is better at allocating IRQ numbers than any BIOS. If possible set the IRQ numbers to Auto in the BIOS. This will allow Windows to allocate the IRQ numbers (make sure the BIOS setting for Plug and Play OS is switched to ‘yes’ to allow Windows to do this.).

Hard disk drives

After a few weeks, the information on a hard disk drive starts to become fragmented.

It is a good idea to defragment the hard disk every week or so, to prevent the disk from causing a screen freeze.

Go to Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Defragmenter

This will start the procedure. You will be unable to write data to the hard drive (to save it) while the disk is defragmenting, So it is a good idea to schedule the procedure for a period of inactivity using the Task Scheduler.

The Task Scheduler should be one of the small icons on the bottom right of the Windows opening page (the desktop).

Some lockups and screen freezes caused by hard disk problems can be solved by reducing the read-ahead optimization. This can be adjusted by going to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System Icon-Performance-File System-Hard Disk.

Hard disks will slow down and crash if they are too full.

Do some housekeeping on your hard drive every few months and free some space on it.

Open the Windows folder on the C drive and find the Temporary Internet Files folder ( Go to Run and type %Temp% and press ENTER)

Deleting the contents (not the folder) can free a lot of space.

Empty the Recycle Bin every week to free more space. Hard disk drives should be scanned every week for errors or bad sectors.

Go to Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-ScanDisk

Otherwise assign the Task Scheduler to perform this operation at night when the computer is not in use.

Viruses

Windows crashes due to-->Virus attack

Often the first sign of a virus infection is instability. Some viruses erase the boot sector of a hard drive, making it impossible to start. This is why it is a good idea to create a Windows start-up disk.

Go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs

Here, look for the Start Up Disk tab. Virus protection requires constant vigilance.

A virus scanner requires a list of virus signatures in order to be able to identify viruses. These signatures are stored in a DAT file. DAT files should be updated weekly from the website of your antivirus software manufacturer.

Printers

Windows crashes due to-->Printer problem

The action of sending a document to print creates a bigger file, often called a postscript file.

Printers have only a small amount of memory, called a buffer. This can be easily overloaded. Printing a document also uses a considerable amount of CPU power. This will also slow down the computer’s performance.

If the printer is trying to print unusual characters, these might not be recognised, and can crash the computer. Sometimes printers will not recover from a crash because of confusion in the buffer.

A good way to clear the buffer is to unplug the printer for ten seconds. Booting up from a powerless state, also called a cold boot, will restore the printer’s default settings and you may be able to carry on.

Software

Windows crashes due to-->Faulty software

A common cause of computer crash is faulty or badly-installed software.

Often the problem can be cured by uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it.

Use Norton Uninstall or Uninstall Shield to remove an application from your system properly. This will also remove references to the program in the System Registry and leaves the way clear for a completely fresh copy.

The System Registry can be corrupted by old references to obsolete software that you thought was uninstalled.

Use Registry Cleaner to clean up the System Registry and remove obsolete entries.

Read the instructions and use it carefully so you don’t do permanent damage to the Registry. If the Registry is damaged you will have to reinstall your operating system.

Often a Windows problem can be resolved by entering Safe Mode. This can be done during start-up. When you see the message “Starting Windows” press F4. This should take you into Safe Mode.

Safe Mode loads a minimum of drivers. It allows you to find and fix problems that prevent Windows from loading properly.

Overheating

Central processing units (CPUs) are usually equipped with fans to keep them cool.

If the fan fails or if the CPU gets old it may start to overheat and generate a particular kind of error called a kernel error.

This is a common problem in chips that have been overclocked to operate at higher speeds than they are supposed to.

One remedy is to get a bigger better fan and install it on top of the CPU. Specialist cooling fans/heatsinks are available from www.computernerd.com or www.coolit.com

CPU problems can often be fixed by disabling the CPU internal cache in the BIOS. This will make the machine run more slowly, but it should also be more stable.

Power supply problems

With all the new construction going on around the country the steady supply of electricity has become disrupted. A power surge or spike can crash a computer as easily as a power cut.

If this has become a nuisance for you then consider buying a uninterrupted power supply (UPS). This will give you a clean power supply when there is electricity, and it will give you a few minutes to perform a controlled shutdown in case of a power cut.

It is a good investment if your data are critical, because a power cut will cause any unsaved data to be lost.

A Hacker's Lab: what you need to start with hacking ?

Hello freaks, i hope you all are fine. In my previous post, i told you about the types of hacker.

Ok..now!!! Lets come to today's post which says "A Hacker's Lab". It includes the resources needed to setup a hacking lab.

Let me tell you that the most important weapon of a true hacker is Programming skill.

The one who wants to be a hacker should possesses this skill. The one who doesn’t have the programming skill is not the true hacker, even if he/she knows “facebook hack, gmail hack etc”.

There are many people who have hacking tools and claims to hack fb, gmail and any other accounts but they don’t have any programming knowledge. Let me clear that they are not TRUE HACKER. A Genuine Hacker is one out of hundreds persons.

NOTE: Whenever I uses the term ‘hacker’, it refers to the GENUINE HACKER, not the one with tools knowledge only.

Ok now!!! Lets come to the resources of the hacking lab.

Computer: Yes! Of course we need the computer.

Recommended computer specifications is

-a processor with a speed of 1.7GHz,

-120GB hard disk capacity

-above 2GB of RAM to speed up. If you only have 1GB of RAM, I advise you to collect money (for students) and purchase additional RAM. It is important to guarantee the performance of your computer at its maximum.

Virtual Machine: VM is required if you do not have some of the other PC to complete the laboratory work for you. For ordinary consumers, I recommend that you use the Oracle VM Virtualbox because it is an open-source virtualization software, free, and easy to use and tutorialnya in many blogs and Youtube. If you want the professional version, you can try the machine virtualization VMware .

Cloud Storage / Online Synchronization Service / Online Storage: Ok. This is a virtual space for your laboratory. It is important to keep the needs of the various 'goods' at it. Therefore if you want a free, there is a fairly good service that is Dropbox.

Live USB / CD / DVD: Most of the time hackers will do their work with the platform or a different operating system. Because the Live USB to the rescue of hard disk space that can accommodate a variety of distros like BackTrack, Wifiway, Blackbuntu and so on.

External Hard Drive Virtual : but the physical storage space should also be as a backup to a virtual storage space

Static IP Address: Static IP address is required to complete the process. You can buy it on any service offered on the internet , find other solutions for free. Please do Google.

Hiding IP Tools: Use good VPN or Proxy Server to hide your IP address.

High-Speed Internet: This is also very important. All you need to work virtual Internet speed and high consistency.

Tools For Hacking: Keylogger, Network Sniffer / Analyzer, penetration testing tool, Password Cracking / Recovery Tool, Social Engineering Toolkit (SET), are among the examples of compulsory tool you need to have. Please make a study of all these tools so.

So…These all are the ones needed to setup a hacking lab.

REMEMBER: Programming skill required the foremost.

I Just love to wear white hat..what about u?

Hello guys n gals, hope you all are fine.In my last post, I explained you about the God of the Cyber world.

At this point, I hope that you guys knows the clear difference b/w Hacker & Cracker.

For those, who didn’t understand that, just have a quick review : Hackers build things and Crackers break them. Hackers are good people & Crackers are the bad ones.

If you wud ever have a fight with someone who is a cracker, its your bad luck then. Ok Ok!!! Don’t be too afraid of this bad guy. He is not gonna harm you without any reason.

Ok…now!!! Lets come to our today’s post. As the title speaks “I just love to wear white hat..what about u?”, it has to do something with the ‘hat’.

Let me tell you in clear language that there are 3 types of hackers residing in the cyber world performing the different operations.

3 types of hackers:

è ~White hat hacker

è ~Gray hat hacker

è ~Black hat hacker

The only way to understand their meanings is to submerge ourselves in the world of hackers.

White hat hacker:

-A good guy

-A ethical (legal) hacker

-A computer security expert

-uses his/her skills without any criminal intention

-companies hire them to test their own systems

Black hat hacker:

-A bad guy

-real destructor

-uses computer skills in criminal activity

-u can call him Cracker too

-beware of him/her

Gray hat hacker:

-A skilled hacker

-guy who is in b/w white hat & black hat category

-use his/her skills for legal or illegal acts, but not for personal gains (like black hat)

So, now you know

-“who the hackers are?”

-“how many types of hackers are there?”

-“what type of hacker someone is?”

I hope in future some of you will be wearing a special hat (white,black or gray) @hacker.

But it is not so easy just as you think. Also it is not tough too.

In the next post, I will be writing “A Hacker's Lab: what you need to start with hacking ?”…in that I will be posting the resources like computers, external devices etc that are required in the lab.

God of the Today's Cyber world: "Hacker" or "Cracker"

Hello guys, hope you all are fine. I am Candy Jia, admin of this newly created blog and my nickname is C@ndy.Here In my first post, i am writing about the Intelligent Computer Experts well known by the name 'Hacker' in the cyber world.

Have you heard about 'Hacker'? You know who they are? Where they live? What they do? What are their intentions?

The first thinking that comes to your mind is always negative & bad (after hearing the word 'hacker').

A typical definition that is in the minds of general computer user is-->A "Hacker" is a person who tries to gain unauthorized access to any computer,website,e-mail accounts.But it is not true :)

Almost no one knows the answer of these,except the hacker itself :)

I searched on the internet,gone through many websites and somehow found answers to the above.
Lets start!

TRUE HACKER:: A computer guy...a clever computer user...an intelligent person...an enthusiastic & skillfull computer programmer...someone with strong technical background :)

The True hacker is the person who is known to build things, solve problems.
Initially these expert programmers were hired by many computer industries to secure their whole system.
However, over the years, the media, journalism and writers have changed the meaning of the word "hacker".They themselves are very confused in the term "Hacker".

The real meaning of a hacker is a programmer who really finds it thrilling to learn
more, who likes to explore more and hence stretches his or her
capabilities more than any average computer user.

The one with the negativity is the Cracker who are bad guys in the computer world.

- These are people who get cheap thrill out of cracking computer codes, and breaking into systems.

- Hence,these are the people who have negativity around them and they only believe in breaking or cracking an access to any kind of system that they have no authorization to.

- They are malicious annoying people who try to uncover sensitive information by poking their unwanted nose everywhere.

"Hackers" on the other hand, are knowledgeable and responsible people.

-They like to take intellectual challenges and like to overcome all limitations that are there in a particular system.

"Hackers" & "Crackers" lives under same roof known as CYBER WORLD.

The realty is: 'Hackers build things, crackers break them.'

So,now i hope you have well understood the meaning of a real Hacker :)
