I've been a fan of the X-men series since it aired on television in the early 90's, and I've tried my best to follow it as much as I could throughout the years, so I was totally looking forward to seeing this movie.

I won't spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it, although I must say there really isn't much to spoil if you already understand the series anyway. The movie starts off with Logan and Victor Creed (aka sabretooth) fighting in an all out battle in what seems to be a rendition of world war 2 (quite frankly I don't know why). This whole scene was incredibly lame and provided no meaning relating to the film, not to mention that both Logan and Creed did not age throughout this entire ordeal. Moving forward, Creed and Logan eventually part ways for a brief period before coming together again under the control of Colonel Stryker.

Long story short ( I reaally don't feel like writing a long review about a movie that did not even catch my attention other than the action scenes), Creed betrays Logan which eventually leads to the birth of Wolverine. I'll just say that the first half of the movie moved me in some way, but as the movie trailed on I started to ask myself if these producers actually ever READ the X-men comics because some of the characters ( I won't name them) were completely redone in such a way that made me feel extremely confused and almost upset in a way.

Gambit's accent is garbage btw just so you all know, and the random cameo at the end by a familiar face just made me laugh (It's so CGI'ed it's ridiculous). All in all, this movie didn't really capture the true essence of the origins of wolverine and I don't think anyone can actually create a movie that would do so.

So to end this, I give this movie 6/10

The two high school buddies took a year off from everything in their life to explore the many locations in the world and to experience all of it at a young age. Andre dupuis, who is the cameraman as well as good friends with Scott Wilson, has tagged along on the journey.

This show definitely has it all, from the many ups and downs of traveling to the sights and sounds of the many cultures that exist in our very vast and colourful world. Words cannot sum up what this show has to offer, so I suggest if you're into traveling and exploring the many exotic places in the world to tune in to this show.

From Libya to Japan, these 3 have done it all and more. Learning to take risks, looking into the eyes of fear and having the right attitude are just a few bits of advice that these 3 share with the many viewers that watch this show. If you've been bitten by the travel bug and would like to see what's out there, tune into OLN Mon-Fri at 8pm, Sun at 7pm and on CityTV at 9pm. It seems that 2009 has been the year of constant lay offs, depression and constant stress from all these money woes. Personally, I can't fathom how so many people have suffered through all of this and still continue to be sane.

I find it extremely difficult to really "save" money in this type of environment, where school tuition needs to be paid, bills are behind, and we're in constant need of other necessities. It's like the minute we try to put money aside, we have to run back to use it again. It's a conundrum that we just can't seem to solve. After experiencing a turbulent time at my co op, I've learned a few things along the way and try to just stick to the script and keep moving. The minute you sit down and try to decipher where the hell your money went, you're more than likely to have missed an opportunity elsewhere.

Times are hard for everyone, but I feel that managing yourself is important, knowing your limit and just playing your cards right will get you further and out of this mess. Life is all about choices, but making the right one is probably the most difficult. To all the accountants, lawyers and everyone who's lost their job during this hard time, I say best of luck to all of you, keep your head up and you'll eventually make it out and see the light. I know I will soon.

Peace, love, and god bless.

These three words describe fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. At least from my point of view. I've taken a bit of a break from blogging since I haven't really been inspired to write anything that's relevant, however after coming across these white brogues I had to say something about them.

These beautifully crafted shoes are simple, but when combined together with the right pieces they can give off an aura like no other. At 360 euros, these shoes don't come cheap but if you have the cash to drop you should not hesitate to cop. With a smooth leather exterior and wooden soles (which is probably the best feature in my opinion) it's a clean look that will definitely catch some attention in the summer. Combine these with a pair of cropped pants and a nice button down short sleeve and you'll be looking crisp.

Make sure to keep em clean tho!

Living the life in Canada has had its ups and downs, twists and turns and conundrums.

However I beleive it's time for me to venture outside of Canada, discover what the world has to offer me not just on a personal level, but also professionally.

I've always loved to travel overseas since I was litte child. I've been to the caribbean, the US, places within Ontario. However, those experiences didn't seem to be fulfilling. I felt that something was still missing, a peice of my lifes puzzle still lost amongst the crowd.

I've figured that everything that happens in ones life is of course a lesson that we must take seriously, because it helps us to realize who we are and to mature. I need a vacation...

Just another year and a half and I can take time off to relax and travel with my friends...

Funny enough I did get to sit down and play SFIV for the past week now and I'm stoked.

I've been reading reviews so far and all have been praising this game, saying it's the best SF game to date and that this series will continue to shine for years to come. What really kept me listening to the album however I guess was the fact that the beats were catchy nonetheless.

It's now 2009 and the boyz are back with Serious Japanese, an album that I truthfully wasn't looking forward to only because I kind of lost track of what these guys were doing. All I have to say is that the album is a slight improvement over their first. I can admit that this album has some catchy tunes ( "work that", "Teriyak-Kings", "5th Element", just a few of my favs). The first single "work that" feat Pharrell and Chris Brown is definitely a club hit but not something I would be jumping for joy over. It seems that Kany-.. I mean Martin Louis King still hasn't changed and probably never will. His flow is pretty decent at best, but I've definitely heard much better from him. The collabs on this album (some are familiar, some I just don't give a shit about) are decent at best. Busta rhymes as usual kills it on the track "Zock-On!" and Verbal definitely has shown much improvement over the first album.

I won't go too much on a rant since this album isn't really worth ranting about to begin with. Lyrically this album is a major improvement over BOC, but still doesn't captivate me in anyway. With the little Japanese I know, the shit still doesn't impress me. Ryo-z and Wise definitely have grown lyrically but illmari I'm not too sure about, maybe because I haven't paid attention to him much.

What really pissed me off though was the fact that the boyz had 3 years to come up with something creative and yet they put old ass tracks on their album? WTF! I still love H.E.R. is a great song don't get me wrong, but make some fresh shit for once. Tokyo drift? Like seriously, what you been doing for 3 years? Enough with the suki-suki and give me some good shit..

This album gets a 7.5/10 from me.

I've been anticipating this game since it was announced way back when and now I'm stoked for it. This game has pretty much taken over my life since I was little, and now it's going to ruin it even more.

As of late, I've been hittin' up the arcade to get a taste of how this game plays, and so far I'm truly impressed by all of the games new features. For the most part, the focus attack ( a toned down version of the parry from 3rd strike imo) really comes in handy when it comes to mind games and pullin off combos. Speaking about this game does no justice though, for now check out some clips from Japan.
