<p>The title and the article are very important, but so is the resource box. With free reprint articles, the article is where you give, and the resource box is where you get to &#8220;take&#8221; a bit&#8211;don&#8217;t forget to that part!</p>
<p>When you write your resource box, be sure to tell the reader what to do and why to do it. You want them to click the link in your resource box. In fact, that&#8217;s your main reason for writing the article in the first place!</p>
<p>You may think that you don&#8217;t need to spell out for the reader what to do because it&#8217;s obvious. In you&#8217;re head you&#8217;re thinking, &#8220;I just gave you some valuable info. Now logically you should want to find out more at my website.&#8221;</p>
<p>It would be great if people actually thought like that, but unfortunately that&#8217;s not the way it works.</p>
<p>There was a great copyrighter who once said that the more specific you are in your instructions to your reader, the greater likelihood that they will do what you say.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t give any instructions at all, then it&#8217;s not likely that the reader will do what you want. However, if you tell the reader what you have waiting for them at your website and what to do to get that promised reward, you&#8217;ll have a good chance of getting some clicks.</p>
<p>It can be as simple as saying &#8220;For more information, go to my website.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ideally you will give the reader a compelling reason to click the link going to your site. For example:</p>
<p>• A free e-book</p>
<p>• A newsletter with fresh information on this topic</p>
<p>• A free e-course</p>
<p>• A helpful product or service</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re trying to lure the reader to your website with a &#8220;call to action&#8221; in the resource box, be sure that you don&#8217;t get too sale-sy, as you don&#8217;t want to scare readers off by sounding like you&#8217;re just trying to get them to buy something. Your educational article has just done a great job of getting the reader&#8217;s defenses down and giving them information that they appreciate.</p>

All you have to do is set up an account at the bookmarking site and follow their instructions for bookmarking. <p>Article marketing dead? In fact, nothing could be farther from the truth! This is a myth spread by those that either cannot write, or would prefer you to purchase their SEO products rather than utilize the very simple technique of writing articles. They even used the term &#8216;bum marketing&#8217; in order to denigrate a very valid and generally successful technique that can be used to drive traffic to your website and enable you achieve high Google listings with no more than a good writing ability.</p>
<p><strong>Ignorance Is Not Bliss</strong></p>
<p>Naturally, those that cannot write take umbrage that so many people can force their web pages into the top echelons of Google&#8217;s web page listings with a minimum of effort, and no knowledge other than an ability to write and an understanding of their niche or subject.</p>
<p>This will not end, at least not in the foreseeable future, unless Google decide to punish genuine content in favor of manufactured back-links and &#8216;spider bait&#8217; hidden in the murky depths of their HTML, CSS or Java script. Those of us that simply write about our topic with all the experience we have would have to be ignored for this type of subterfuge to take precedence, and the Google technical people are well aware of the fact.</p>
<p>So how exactly can article marketing help you to get more traffic, and by definition, sell more product? Simply by providing those interested in your product or the niche it represents with interesting information on that niche. You cannot use article marketing to directly market goods, and writing articles should be restricted to providing useful information to those that read them, and who may be interested enough in the topic to visit your website link in the resource section. That&#8217;s where you market the goods.</p>
<p><strong>Using the Resource Box</strong></p>
<p>For example, if you are selling a book explaining to people how they should write articles in a way that they attract visitors to their website, you may offer information on the best way to write articles: how to link the opening paragraph to the following sentence, and how to use your resource box. However, for that article to be published, you must not mention any product you are selling &#8211; simply provide a link in the &#8216;resource&#8217; section that readers can click to get to a selected page on your website.</p>

It can also be defined as marketing your article: if you market your article well enough, then it will be read and the reader may be persuaded sufficiently by your arguments to click to your web page for more.</p>

<p>Mindless email browsing can stop you from writing productively. It is almost inevitable that once you log into your computer, that you are drawn to your in-box. I certainly am. In fact, I haven&#8217;t been able to stop checking my email when I first get on the computer, but what I have had to  do is time myself. <!-- ~~ads~~ -->

<p><strong>2. Beautiful Writing Environment</strong></p>
<p>Some of us must have a clean and orderly desk and some of us write in total organized confusion. Guess what, there is no such thing as organized confusion. You simply have to get organized. You must. If your work area is cluttered, so are your thoughts, and so is your writing.</p>
<p>Make your writing environment beautiful and pleasing to you. I enjoy candles, plants, I have my degrees and certificates framed on my wall, I have pictures of my family up and other things around me that make me smile:)</p>
<p><strong>3. Belief System About Writing</strong></p>
<p>Consider what your belief system is around writing. Do you think that it&#8217;s only for smart people? Do you think it&#8217;s only for businesses folks? Do you think writing is an impossible task? You have to change your preconceived notions about writing if you ever want to actually enjoy writing.</p>
<p>This may be the biggest issue for many writers. If you think that you can&#8217;t write, or are a bad writer, or have nothing to say &#8211; then that is your truth. But is that truly your reality? I doubt it. Writing like most things gets better with effort, practice, and confidence.</p>
<p><strong>4. Lack Of Research</strong></p>
<p>Make sure you research what the people in your niche want to read. When you write what people don&#8217;t want to read, you don&#8217;t get good results and that will directly impact how you &#8220;feel&#8221; about writing the next article.</p>
<p><strong>5. Too Busy With Other Things In Your Biz</strong></p>
<p>If you are doing everything in your business, that can greatly impact your writing. People often say how time consuming writing is. Well &#8211; that&#8217;s because you are doing 25 other things in your business. Learn to outsource some of the mundane tasks in your business and in your life and use the extra time for strategic marketing such as writing articles and profit generating activities such as writing eBooks, info products, etc.</p>
<p><strong>6. What You Read</strong></p>
<p>The best writers are people who read a lot. In their niche as well as in other subject areas. Read what your competitors write. Read what your mentors write. Read what people in totally different niches write. You will widen your vocabulary. You will broaden your knowledge base. You will find a rhythm of writing that resonates with you. It will make sitting down to write your own material that much easier because you have a frame of reference.</p>

<p>Imagine that you are a business coach, and a friend of yours has contacted you asking for advise on choosing a business coach for herself. For whatever reason, you are not eligible to fulfill your friend&#8217;s need, but you are an excellent source of objective information on finding a reputable person in your field.</p>
<p>This is an important attitude to have as you write this article. Your role is adviser to a friend, rather than candidate for the position.</p>
<p><strong>Basic Guidelines:</strong></p>
<p>• Don&#8217;t mention yourself or your business in the article. You can talk about that sort of stuff in the resource box, but the article should be completely about the needs of your readers.</p>
<p>• Write as an expert advisor who is entirely objective. You know your field very well, so you are the perfect person to give insider tips for what to look for in a business coach, dentist, pet groomer, or whatever your field is.</p>
<p>• Your article should be able to be used by a reader who is looking for a person in your field. You should provide helpful, insightful tips for choosing the best plumber, veterinarian, hair stylist, etc.</p>

<p><strong>Article Introduction:</strong></p>
<p>This article is a list article (there are 5 elements in the list), but first you need to start off with a paragraph that will introduce your topic. In this intro paragraph, you can tell why it is so important to look  for these certain indicators when searching  <!-- ~~ads~~ -->

<p>Create your list of items to look for, and arrange them strategically. The strongest item is your #1 tip, and the second strongest is your #5 tip. You want to lure the reader in with the strongest tip and finish strong with the last tip.</p>

A RSS feed is a means by which you can syndicate content (in this case, your articles). Your Feed Name is a name that you make up that will easily identify the feed to you. After inserting your RSS feed URL into the form, you can click a button that will test your feed to ensure that it&#8217;s working. On this same page you can also configure some advanced options, such as specifying some prefix text for a new article update. So, you might make your prefix text say &#8220;My latest article:&#8221; or something like that.</p>
<p>3. Once you finish setting up your feed, it&#8217;s time to authenticate your Twitter account. Basically, Twitter wants to be sure that you are the one requesting to have these updates automatically published on your Twitter account.</p>
<p>When you click the &#8220;Authenticate Twitter&#8221; button on Step 2 of TwitterFeed, you are taken to Twitter.com, where you are asked to insert your Username and password to give permission to TwitterFeed to access your Twitter account.</p>
<p>After that, you&#8217;re all set up! TwitterFeed will monitor your article RSS feed, and when you publish a new article, your Twitter account automatically gets updated.</p>
