Do you know the origin of a sterling silver piece with an owl hallmark?

The sterling is the base on an antique art glass vase - possibly Loezt but it's not marked. The base simply has the word "sterling" and the owl (with wings outstretched) imprinted on it. What is the best thing to use to clean solid sterling silver? ( .925 purity silver)?

I found and purchased an antique car collection for my father for Christmas. It has small, individual cars grooved into 1-inch silver chunks. It needs to be cleaned before I give it to him. But I'm afraid I'll damage it. Have any solutions? Thanks in advance!

How do you clean an antique silver brush for use?

I would like to use said brush myself. Can you soak an antique silver brush in peroxide? They usually are silver or silver plate, the bristles are usually natural hair, and it's usually set in wood. Where to sell antique 1930s Sterling flatware…?

I have a 12 place setting, sterling silver flatware set from the 1930s, Oneida's "King Cedric".
It's been appraised at about 000.

In the research I've done so far, the most expensive one that sold is around 60 on ebay. So ebay's not the way to go on expensive items apparently.

Does anyone know a good place to sell these and get a price around the 000 (or close to it)?

Someone gave us some antique silver cups from Berkeley Hotel in England. I know they opened in 1891 and I have been researching a little and have come up with nothing. I could not find anything like it on Ebay. Could someone please help me? No related posts. No related posts.

I purchased a 100 year old flask, and am weary of using it until I can be sure the inside is perfectly clean--bacteria, corosion, etc. I was thinking of using the boiling water with baking soda and aluminum foil method, followed by a rinse with white vinegar, but don't know if this is adequate. Suggestions??

When can I find info on and value of antique silver drink shaker?

Found an old silver plate drink mixer/shaker in waste bin, would like to know more about it.
The only ID marks on it are a stamp on the bottom -
WOLFF, the a "W" with a line under it, the the # 12
underneath that is 0.70 l and a "3"
(I assume that is .7 liter)
