Hi Anthony, I’m pretty sure you may have got this on the grapevine from me back in late 1998. I scanned it out of the SMH, it was a very accurate representation of my personal experience of contracting at the time. Dude, I don’t want to rain on your skinny wallet parade, but those wallets fall apart so easily! I am a pretty active guy and I thought since it says it is made of the material sail’s are made of it would endure all that I put it through. WRONG. Anyway, by doing a search on skinny wallets I found their competitor, BigSkinny, who have the simple bifold style I was looking for, but it has been 6 months of kayaking, biking, etc. and it basically just as it was the day I got it! They have nylon microfiber that is a bit thicker (not much) but last longer and it withstands sweat, and you can machine wash!! I recommend you get involved!!

I got the same problem in WIN 7. I fixed the fullscreen mode of itunes with using the XP fonts in WIN 7. Using the XP fonts another problem occurs: The itunes miniplayer is really small and nearly not visible and the fonts of some itunes menu windows are to small to read. Has someone a solution?
By the way, I don’t really understand “Personalize Windows 7 BASIC”. I swithched the Windows design to Windows 7 basic, and nothing happens, the fullscreen mode of itunes won’t work ….

Win7 — connected to my big LCD; same issue with `50% dpi setting. will only work with mini settings.

De-installing itunes until they fix it. this is a shambles!

hey man in your settings there is a box to check for XP font scaling. This way you can change your dpi and still have full screen mode. hope this helps. apple will have a fix for vista soon.

Hi Jaf, I was using a regex to change the URL with the Movie ID to a view link for embedding – the pipe with the regex is here: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=0574af8dcee6d5ea94e7cb6cd9274f83
You’ll need to modify it further to actually acheive what you want though.

I am tracking your GPS location from here in the USA.
Hope you are well. Excellent comments. I am trying to build a solution with Asterisk that will use a DID (El Salvador number) on my machine with a rule to forward the calls that are targeted to the DID to a customer here in USA.
The calls originate in SAn Salvador and the end point is a cell phone in usa.

Can you comment on how I could do it please?

I am a Concorde chaser and have been one for 27 years.

I just found your video on You tube.

This is a brilliant and quality IS pin sharp.

This video brings back very very happy memories of Oct 2003, on 21 Oct 2003 I flew on Concorde to New York.

When you took the night time video of Concorde and the Concorde crossing i was probably standing near you as i took photos of the same thing (but mind didnt turn out good as my flash unit wasnt so powerful so my photos where almost black).

Well done for putting this on internet.

This small office is 159 cm x 227cm has a desk 159cm x 60cm, 2 office chairs, 1 full size 4 drawer filing cabinet, 1 portable air conditioning unit, 1 portable electric heater, 1 fax machine, 1 desktop PC, 1 laptop computer, 1 printer. This is the daily work area for 2 people, myself and my wife.

This “office” has an inward opening door plus 1 window.

Regarding placeholders, look at the date I made the comment, 2 years ago. Perhaps they don’t use placeholders now, but in 2001 they did. Look harder next time.

No disagreements over it being a nice method for designers to promote themselves, however you’ve misunderstood the underlying message of the post: for such a diverse creative group, they’re still just as likely to sheepishly follow the masses and jump on the May 1st bandwagon like everyone else. Which went against my early impressions of the design community in 2001 as highly original community unlikely to join any mass web based self promotion opportunities like this.
