So what the hell was I doing?

Oh, besides being emo, I was being suppressed by school. And did I mention being emo? I also tried to keep up with current anime, whereas the series I’m following actively are Omamori Himari and Durarara, both great shows in my opinion. Unfortunately I couldn’t catch up on Baka to Test thus far, as also with Hanamaru Kindergarten and Ladies vs. Butlers. I have, however, started Black Butler, which I find pretty crappy as of episode 3. Yaoi smiling, pretty bad character art, same for backgrounds, no interesting plot (thus far). The butler himself being so powerful, the fights are not thrilling at all, you’re just sitting there and thinking ‘mhm, mhm, aha, *yawn* will they please go on with plot now’. But the uniforms and other Victorian elements are cool so I still watch it.

Don’t feel like writing more at the moment. I never was too wordy. One thing still bothers me though, and those are the other authors on this blog. 99% of them are inactive in 99% of the time. Practically, they don’t exist. I want to have a person watching my back though. If you have the steam to be an episodic blogger and blog by schedule, contact me. That’s all.

Yes. Just yes. I can’t wait for it to come out. We get to see more action in this PV and some nice effects. Tenshi as an antagonist? Awesome. We’ll probably learn some sort of past she has and warm up to her though. We also get to see a little bit of the characters messed up lives (because each Key series needs a girl like that). I also see a concert scene there. Lol more Haruhi-ness. The animation looks very nice. Definitely not KyoAni, but it’s good.

Why is it only going to be 13 episodes? I want more already.

I think that A-1 Pictures did a really good job with the art, the animation, and pretty much everything. I honestly had no complaints throughtout it.

 One last thing~ I can really relate to Poplar’s situation: Being 17 and getting mistaken for an middle or elementary student… I have to go through that too DX One of the friends I made this year at my new school told me that he thought I was 10 when he first saw me D: And my boyfriend thought I was 12 at first D: …I can’t understand how I’m mistaken for being 10 or 12 since I don’t think I look that tiny or whatever… But I guess it’s cuz we (Poplar and me) just can’t see it XD Whatever~~

I’m definitely going to keep watching this btw :3

This is merely filler content. I’m doing comics even as I speak. They feel pretty shitty because I feel pretty shitty so I had to re-do most of them. It’s like trying to stop Shakespeare from writing sad plays where people die. (Yes, that’s all he can do. I’m sure of it.) Only I just draw shitty ronery comics.

I really need to read more shojo manga. Or maybe just manga in general. I recently read Moe Kare and thought it was beyond cute. While I read it, I thought of its similarities with Koko ni iru yo. It made me a little mad that Koko ni iru yo didn’t do what Moe Kare did. However, thinking of that made me love Moe Kare even more.

To others, they might not find it amazing or as good I’m saying it is, but this is what I think. This is my giddy fangirl mind.

Moe Kare is about a young girl named Hikaru who searches to find true love. One day, she was saved from disgusting guys by a hot guy. When she asks what she can do to repay him, he french kisses her. Serious. He goes on to comment about how he was going to try to seduce her, but she didn’t seem sexy enough. Later on, she goes on a group date with her friends and meets Takara, who looks exactly like the french kissing hot guy. It’s later revealed the french kissing hot guy is his long lost half-brother who looks just like him, Arata. A love triangle follows.

A bit typical? Possibly. But I still liked it. The characters had reminded me a bit of KNIY’s characters. Hikaru = Hikage, Takara = Hinata, Arata = Teru. Of course Hikaru and Takara do get together like Hikage and Hinata. Arata and Teru end up being the guy surrounded by girls but only wants the main girl. There’s also a jealous girl who wants the sweet, nice main guy.

On the other hand, Moe Kare gave me what I liked. Drama that makes me want to know what happens next. Koko ni iru yo felt too light. I don’t know. Also, I felt the characters were more likable. My gosh how Hikage annoyed me sometimes. Hikaru, though, developed rather nicely. Sure, she cried a lot like Hikage. Is it supposed to be common in shojo that the main girl must cry a lot? I really need to read more manga. Hikaru remained strong though. She fought back her tears, learned how to fight, and dealt with serious drama.

Up until Ami’s accident, Moe Kare fooled me into thinking Hikaru and Takara were going to stay together for the rest of the series. Up until the accident, you saw how devoted to each other they were and how much they cared about one another. Whenever Hikaru was with Arata, she’d talk about Takara. Once Takara came, no matter what was going on, she’d instantly run towards him. I pitied Arata.  You see how he changes in the scene where he almost has sex with a drunk Hikaru.

In another scene, you see how much he cares for her as well. Despite how much he wants her, he’s willing to hold back and give her to Takara. Absolutely adorable.

When Ami’s accident happened, Hikaru and Takara broke up. Because Takara is too nice for his own good. Man, I just hated him then. It’s normal to feel guilty about Ami’s accident, but to break up with the girl you like to be Ami’s boyfriend? Not right. He could have just visited Ami often. He could have kept his relationship with Hikaru. He could have done a lot of things. Instead, Takara and Hikaru give up their virginity and he dumps her.

You just have to admire Arata’s determination to get Hikaru. He got rejected three times. Yet he still chased after her. Good job. When they were together, it had seemed a bit more right than Hikaru and Takara. Hikaru could show all her sides to Arata. Arata opened up to Hikaru. You just knew they belonged together. This scene had me laughing though.

But oh noes~ Takara wants her back. How easily he swayed Hikaru’s feelings just made me mad. Arata had to work so hard to get her as his girlfriend, but Takara easily got her to doubt her feelings for Arata. Life just sucks for him.

I was relieved to see Hikaru come to her senses and go after Arata. Leave Takara and his stupidity. If you always wanted her, don’t break her heart and try to force yourself to love someone you don’t.

In the end, I liked how it turned out. If KNIY proved to be just as interesting, I would have liked the series better. Moe Kare had made me love both pairings, but KNIY wasn’t as fair to the love triangle. Hope WxxS proves to be better.
