It happened sometime a couple of weeks ago..hmm,it must be from my Facebook or something.Dang those some of my friends..I felt like....(insert a random violent horrifying toture here). *sigh*

I wanted to do it soon,but I'm actually broke.Haha.I couldn't afford to buy an external hard disk to temporarily store my precious collection (animes,games..yup,you know those stuffs)

My finals' started last Saturday..and to my fellow classmates,all the best to you!

This particular dream doesn't involve any (mis)adventures with some certain hot male celebrities,like my first three encounters,but I'd like to share with you guys as I thought this one was extremely bizarre...or should I say,funny? By the way,this was happened on early of August.

Alrighty,it started out like this.I received an invatation for a coffee party over my friend's house.These friends of mine were none other than my real-life male classmates during my studies at the university.

Err,I can't recall how many of them actually...hmm,probably at most 10 that I can clearly remembered.These boys are not your average boys,okay.It seems like they lived together in a very dazzlingly beautiful house.

"Oh my.."

Yup,that was my reaction when I stepped into the bachelor's lair for the first time.I never knew that they lived a high-class life! The house that they lived in is almost similar to that house in the Korean drama,"Full House".The first thing that comes through my mind is those uptown boys in Gossip Girl (although I didn't watch that series religiously).I was greeted by one of them.

"Thanks for coming,Angela.You know that how rare it is for us to gather in an occasion like this."

"Oh yeah,that's so true.Nice house,by the way.You guys are surely good at making money!"

"Heheh..thanks!"

That boyish grin shows up on his face,like he always did in real life,heh.After a while,most of the guests had arrived.And being a good sport I am,I volunteered to help to serve the coffee! And so,I went to the kitchen.

Coffee mugs were arranged nicely on the dining table.The whole kitchen was filled with the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee from each of the mugs...and as I'm a highly-caffienated-coffee-lover,that moment was absolutely heavenly! After that,the friend who greeted me earlier walked in.

"Err,Angela..could you do me a favor?"

"Oh yeah,sure.How can I help you?"

"Can you put this into my coffee?"

He took something out from his right pocket,and handed it to me.

What? You drink coffee with a bar of soap? Yup,I was holding a bar of bath soap,blue in color.And nope,it's not the soap you used for your laundry.I was giving him the look..like,seriously?

"I'd always have this with my coffee..seems like I can't live without it."

"Uh,okayyyy.....I never knew that."

"Uhmm..just grated it a little.The grater is in the top drawer."

"Okay-dokie.Your coffee's coming up!"

I walked towards the kitchen drawer in an instant.

.....he drinks coffee with grated soap? This is sooo weird.I wonder how does it tasted like,though.

When I found out that this one was based from a Korean movie,I got this one kinda mixed-feelings, ya know.Well,east-to-west adaptations...it's like you're having a large bowl of your favorite ice cream in front of you, and you want to experiment it with different kinds of topping(s). For me, I'll pretty much accept anything yummy as long it doesn't contain any vanilla or strawberries. Whether your ice cream will be more tastier with the 'works',or you should let it untouched..it's up to your tastebuds.

The Uninvited wasn't the first east-to-west adaptation I've watched.In fact,the first ever,was The Grudge,based from Ju-on.I really,really,really love Ju-on because I could always relate my thoughts with these quotes (pardon me,I can't remember who said this),"see the horror as an art".Oh,if you haven't seen Ju-on or you would like to explore some eastern horror genres,I'd recommend it.As in The Grudge,I was a lil bit dissapointed because the focal point of the movie is the nanny itself (and other irrelevant characters,mind you).No,no,don't get it wrong.I love Sarah Michelle Gellar since Buffy,The Vampire Slayer and Cruel Intentions.Ugh,did I just mention that I got mixed-feelings?

As for this review of mine (and more to come,we'll see), I won't come up with 'out of 5 or 10 stars' or 'plus/minus' thingy.All of my opinions are spontaneous,so yeah.Just sit back,and enjoy yourself.Hur hur.

What is the title of the movie,Angela? The Uninvited.

Alrighty,which character(s) that I will see the most through out the movie? Pale-looking Anna (played by Emily Browning),who looks like the younger version of that singer,Sophie Ellis-Baxtor,her spunky older sister,Alex (played by Arielle Kebbel) that resembles the younger Jessica Alba.Besides that,their father's girlfriend,Rachel Summers (played by Elizabeth Banks) and her aura seems to tell me that she is some kind of a career woman that is trying to adjust her new role as a housewife.

Okay,cut the crap,Angela.What can you summed up after you've done watching it? One of the important things that I have learned..please be careful of your activities behind the door.Especially,if you're involving with some sinister,wrongdoings.If you realized that your actions will cause harm-of-any-kind to your love ones in the future..remember,it is your fault at the first place.Alrighty,alrighty..who am I blabbing on your freedom and rights.It's just that,if you can't resists it,just go ahead and do it somewhere far,far away.To a deserted island or something.Don't forget that someone might peep through the keyhole(if your room door has one,duh)..and the rest,they say,will become your nightmare.

What do you think of the movie poster,Angela? Like,seriously,I was wondering what is the connection with the movie.

So,what will you recommend for further watching,Angela? Hmm,I think I'll proceed with the original version,"The Tale of Two Sisters" (a.k.a "Changhwa, Hongryon").Maybe I'll get a different perspective.Or learn something new.

When I first came up a list of my newly-founded favorite singers/bands that has been 'around the block',I've got several incoming hits into this bloggie,looking for Mando Diao and Anna Tsuchiya.Seems like they're getting more recognition from the audience out there,and that's good.So,I think I would come up with a part two,since for this particular post,most of the artists here are quite well-known back then.And yes,I will do some withdrawal from Billboard Top 100 or anything suchlike in the meantime.

Gackt - dang,where was I,when this song was released? Well,I have known Gackt before that,but I've never heard any of his songs.Until recently.I gotta thanked my sis,for sorta introduced me to him,and my colleague for singing this song periodically at our workplace some time ago.Before you guys go,"Owh! I hope it's not too late to wish all of my Muslim friends out there Happy Fasting.I'm some sort of fasting too this year..no,no don't get me wrong.I merely adapting myself to the environments I'm living now.Simply said,my dinner is 'fixed' to a certain time and,some of the (special) menus are only available once a year.Yup,I'm not a shopaholic but I love to browse around the Ramadhan bazaar!

If you have the chance to experience it some day,seriously,you'll be spoil for choice.Deep down in your heart,you will scream "Food,glorious food!" And owh,I have a personal favorite for this year's edition.

Bubur Lambuk by bunthink

Bubur lambuk was mostly given out to the people as a charity during the fasting season.There are many variations of it,but the tastiest ever is in Kampung Baru.(Unfortunately,I haven't try this one.Yet.) The ones I usually bought are packed in containers like the picture above.Haha,I know that some of you might feel nauseous while looking at the pic...slow down there,wanna know why it looks like that? One of the main ingredients of this porridge is herbs and spices! You won't know until you tried one!

As for quenching my thirst,I opt for lai chee kang.So refreshing.'Nuff said.

RIP my MySpace,2004 - 30 August 2009.

Yup,after almost 5 years,I've decided to end it,for good.The same thing will happen for my Friendster account.Maybe I've reached the 'Ugh...this stuff aren't so relevant to me nowadays!' limit.Maybe it's a good idea for me to channel the energy towards my Facebook from now on.

As I've always amused with deepest,private thoughts written on a postcard,or some domestic pets that never fails to put a smile on me..I never knew that expressing one's emotion on a cardboard can be so...poignant.Anyways,in the recent post,the site's admin said that they will close the site.Ouch.I hope they will reconsider to re-open it some other time.As for now,I'm gonna share with you some of my personal favorite card-boards.

Chelsea has done it,Arsenal's some sorta done it in a way,and Liverpool was almost *this* close for doing it.Yeah,I've should post this earlier..forgive me.But,it's better late than never,no? I just couldn’t understand the choices of songs that the owner-of-a-computer-shop-next-door’s wife plays every time. She tends to play techno tracks that make me yawn. Yes,I yawned while listening to the songs blaring on the speaker. She doesn’t realize that her choices could increase the probability of me falling asleep (easily) at work.Ugh.

No,don’t get me wrong.I’m not against techno music.It’s just that,her choices of (techno) songs sucks,okay.

…EXCEPT for this particular song.She would play it before they close their shop.It’s like some kind of an ending theme from them,haha.When I listened it for the first time,my first guess it was by Craig David (it’s been a while since I heard anything on him).The tempo kinda reminds me of a crossover between Ne-yo’s “Closer” and Usher’s “Yeah!”.

Well,thanks to the colleague of mine,he managed to asked the shop’s technician who sang that song.And yes,my guess was correct,it IS Craig David’s,entitled “Insomnia”.

This song is awesomely addicting.

The song,from Angela’s point of view: It’s a typical scenario,actually.A guy finally realized that he’s deeply in love with a girl that has already walked out of his life.Knowing that he had messed it up,he can’t sleep till he get the love of his love at his side.Yup,he wants her back,very badly.

If you happened to read other reviews on this song before you read this one,you would notice that some of the bloggers were not that ‘keen’ on the lyrics.I’m not going to condone them,though.To me,I don’t see anything wrong with being typical with usage of words in that song.It’s honest and straight to the point.

The music video,from Angela’s point of view: Again,it focuses on simplicity. If you saw ‘something’ weird at the beginning of the video,don’t worry.There’s nothing wrong with your monitor,heheh.It’s actually the special effects that created a ‘jagged’ scenery.Overall, less (and simple) is definitely more.

…surprise,surprise,there’s another version of “Insomnia”!

I was amazed when I read through Wikipedia that Craig David himself actually asked Wheesung to do a remake of that song.For those who are new to Wheesung,he was featured in Se7en’s hit single,”Luz Control”.And so,Wheesung did a comeback,with a Korean version of “Insomnia” early this year.Welcome back,Wheesung!

The song,from Angela’s point of view: Differ from the original version,this one tells us about a guy that conceal his true feelings on this particular girl.Yup,the girl that has captured his heart doesn’t have a single clue about it.Looks like he hasn’t have the courage to confess to her yet,afraid that she will walked away.And because of that he’s unable to sleep,thinking about her.

On the lyrics’ side,his version are more poetic.It seems like the rap part are quite lengthy in order to synchronized with the original version’s tempo.Nonetheless,it is still does make sense,and Wheesung nailed that part,yeah! Just so you know,‘real slow’ is referred to him.

The music video,from Angela’s point of view: Most of the other reviews out there thinks this version is much hotter.My collegue thinks so too.I'm second to that.And Wheesung had a new haircut! (Maybe he had it years ago,it’s just that I knew about it later when I watched the video,haha.) The new haircut emphasizes his machoness,plus I also like his hand formation of the word “LOVE” at the beginning of the video.He did dance,too.And owh,the ending of the video was really cool.You have to watch it for yourself!

~~I think he wore eyeliner in that video.Hmm,I could be wrong about it.Haha.~~

What can I say.I was almost chocked with Milo while I was watching the prime time news last Thursday.Kaka's transfer news aside (in fact,I wasn't that surprised,really.) And,I was *this* close,with a friend of mine,to buy the tickets,just for the sole reason that I want to see him in the flesh (yeah,I know it's a heck-one-corny-of-a-reason),meanwhile she's a fan of MU.Ah well,seems like the only chances for me to see that dude in a close range had been plundered all the way...Now I feel like hitting Cris hard with a plushie.Real hard.

Okayyyyy,even if they might break up some other day,oh I wish they could make up after that.They looked so good together! Or hey,at least they could be the bestest BFF.I don't care...owh pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease.I'm not kidding,okay? It's just that I have some issues with some sportsmen with fantabulous skills/talents,but sadly,they lacking the skills of choosing the right women.Or to put it in a simple phrase,they have a bad taste for women.It just irks me.Same goes when the happy days of Cris and his whats-her-name model girlfriend of his some time ago,yeah,I don't approved on that either...my goodness,wait a sec,are they still together despite the recent event?

Can Somebody Help Me?

Honestly,these first five months of 2009 had made me really,really depressed.Really,really sad.And angry nonetheless.And I'm mad at myself for not be able to channel it to a positive way properly,plus I'm the type of person that end up keep it to herself in the end (and that's why this will be a short rant,really,heheh).I hate with the fact that why I have to go through all these obstacles meanwhile some people around me get it the easy way.And this wasn't the first time.And I started to think that the word 'reality' and 'lucky' doesn't bring any significance to me anymore.I've lost my faith to any thoughts of that.

Firefox + Google Chrome = OTP

Call me a screw-loose if you want to,but I love surfing the net using both of that browsers at the same time.You might read reviews on either of them already,some might say that Firefox is way better,bla bla bla;or vice versa..to me,they are meant for each other! Now,I was thinking,if there's a human version of them,I wonder who could that be...hmmm.

Okay,I know you're wondering how come I could be such a screw-loose for saying this? No doubt,Chrome's really fast.And yeah,I agree on that! What I really adore about Chrome is that whenever I downloading files,it's never been easier.In terms of the speed,I mean.Based on my experience,almost 90% of the time I managed to downloaded the files on a slow Internet connection (the important keyword here is patience,guys).On the other hand,with Firefox,it was like a 50%-50% chances,even when I have implemented my patience (for your information,my patience factor is waaay less than the average human).

Firefox's been my favorite since.....*fails to remember when*.Anyway,it's never been this cool that this browser can be personalized from the plugins,themes and up to search engines of our choice! Thank goodness for this amazing creation! One of my favorite plugin is Adblock Plus (*pokespokespokes* the scattered ads on the blogosphere).Unfortunately,Chrome doesn't implement personalized-plugin-feature.And so,the ads are visible while surfing.

Anyway,this is just a review by an Internet junkie-that's me.It's all up to you and your browser of your choice.Most importantly,don't force your computer/laptop if you're intended to try out both Firefox+Chrome at the same time,especially when your system's spesification is not at the maximum level (mine ain't too,although I wished for a Sony Vaio or an Apple notebook :P).Results may vary,guys.Keep that in mind.

Alternatively,I would suggest that you try either one of them,especially for those who are new to both browsers.Since they're freeware..yeah,whatever rocks your boat.

Whoa...Photoshop CS4??

Let's see,I've been using CS3 almost 6 months now.So far,so good.When I heard (sometime at the end of 2008) that CS4 had released,I was stunned.Well,I hope that it won't happen soon.I'm referring to the situation where I wanted to download brushes,only knowing that I can't use it because CS3 doesn't support brushes that is made in a higher version of Photoshop...unless the brush maker provide image packs.But then it's an another story altogether...

Slightly off-topic this one,I noticed a trend among some of these graphics-related resources site.

Yay factor: They provided lots of pretty brushes!

Nay factor: When I clicked the link which says 'brushes',I found out it wasn't in the form of .abr OR .jbr! It's in image packs,wtf.

What's the big deal,Angela? Okay,lemme get this straight.The word 'brushes' and 'image packs' are spelt differently,and so they give a different meaning,although technically,they are connected.I've never felt this cheated,really.Most likely,I'll end up won't save the image pack(s),even if its pretty anyway.I just hate doing the 'define brush presets' thingy.Plus,if it does exist in the form of image packs,then how does the 'image' on the 'image packs' appeared?

Owh,never mind.Let me give way to Shikamaru and his very famous line,because he knows exactly how I felt that time.

Here is a suggestion for those of you out there to look less idiotic.

a) Replace with the word 'brush' link in your site with 'image packs' or 'image packs for brushes'.See? that's clear and concise.Optional feature,tell your visitors reason(s) that you provide image packs.

Oh yeah,my last paper was yesterday..so today,I spent my half day here in the cyber cafe.And I'll be heading back home tomorrow for 1 month+ semester break..but before that,I've posted some of my designs at my LiveJournal:

I've had this conversation with an old friend recently.We talked about music and she asked me if I knew any of the latest tunes from the Billboard charts.I got stuck.Wait a minute,I've been out of touch for a long time! Well,honestly,there are about 60% of the songs in my winamp now are in Korean/Japanese/Chinese.Okay,I might be lazy to poke myself into knowing the recent stuff,plus,most streaming media sites are been blocked/filtered at my place here.....so,yeah.There you go.

Angela knows that she will not make this blog entry very long to bore her readers because her class will be started in any moment from now.Angela knows that it's up to them whether they will bother to read this weird entry. :)
Angela has been in and out of her mood & mojo lately,especially a week after her birthday.Angela is angry with the fact why some things doesn't go her way.She wished that she could own some kind of a SUPER power to change it,and she would love to either strangle,stab or punch these annoyances.
But,generally Angela is a peace-lover.
