Steps in Applying for the Entrance Exam

• STEP 1. Present admission requirements to the Office of Admissions (Rm. 104, G.Pecson Hall) for evaluation.
• STEP 2. Fill out the application form (CTL Form) and attach two copies 1”x1” recent ID picture.
• STEP 3. Pay the P350.00 Entrance Exam Fee to the University Cashier’s Office.
• STEP 4. Proceed to the Office of Admissions for the Test Permit with examination schedule and recording of the O.R. No. (Official Receipt Number)

Important Dates to Remember:

• March 20, 2010 – Last day of application period
• April 8, 2010 – Entrance exam
• April 15, 2010 – Release of the list of  Successful Examinees for Interview (Usually they only get the Top 40 Passers)
• April 20, 2010 – Interview (Bring Academic Record from previous school if available)
• April 26, 2010 – Release of List of Qualifiers
• April 27-29, 2010 – Medical Examination
• May 7, 2010 – Enrollment

Too much computer and lack of sleep, see? I’ve been too abusive to my eyes! They said that every once in a while we should give our eyes a break and look away from the computer for a few minutes or so. But why do I always forget that whenever I’m too engrossed online?

Cutting down my time online is my only option. I’ve completely quit gaming on Facebook. Haven’t played Farmville and Cafe World for more than 2 or 3 weeks already. I rehabilitated myself from that ‘addiction’ haha. For one straight week I slept earlier, something I haven’t done in a long time.

Now everytime I use the computer, I wear my multi-coated eyeglasses. And of course, rest my eyes after few minutes. Never had headaches since then.

But here I go again, I have to admit I slept late last night coz I missed reading a lot of blog posts.

How about you guys, did you ever had eye strain and headaches caused by too much computer?

What I Like

• Requests and messages can be viewed at the top menu.
• The dashboard for the Applications and Games shows the applications you and your friends have interacted with most recently.

What I Dislike

• Not user friendly. I have to click several times to find what I need.
• Update is so slow. News Feed is not even accurate. Have to click news feed a few times to update but it doesn’t seem to give real time update. Top posts were like 11 hours ago. Had to refresh several times again to see the new updates. Sometimes there are entries that I’ve just read 1 minute ago and when I refresh the page it suddenly disappear. It would be replaced with updates 30 or more minutes ago.
• No more application and bookmark toolbar or navigation bar at the bottom of the page. You have to click back to the homepage to be able to switch to another application or games.

• Status update is buried down the Friends Link in the Left menu.
• No more links for all friends, all connections and recently added friends.
• Hidden Logout. Have to click the account drop down menu to logout.

Oh well, I wish everything could be arranged according to our preferences. Or maybe they can give us an option to bring the old layout back, hehe.

I’m done editing the options page. It’s my first time to include Advanced Options Page in a theme, glad I read Alex Denning’s article on how to Create an Advanced Options Page in WordPress. Thank you, thank you! I don’t know if I would be able to make it myself hadn’t I read your article. It really was a big help.

So I am looking for anyone who could test the theme as I do not have access to all kinds of browser and operating systems. I’ve tested it already in the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Please let me know if you’re interested to test it so I can email the link. Just leave your comment below. I’m also open for suggestions, in case you want something to be added.

By the way, as you may have noticed, I intentionally did not mention the name of this WordPress Theme, even blurring the name in the image. I wonder if you can guess what it is?
