Asus FonePad just received an update of its hardware In his native Taiwan. ASUS has launched a new version of the tablet FonePad, which comes with power processor and large internal memory. While the original FonePad, announced back in February, comes with an Intel Atom Z2420 processor speed of 1.2 GHz, the updated FonePad got Intel Atom Z2460 processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz. In addition, the amount of internal storage has doubled, up to 32 GB. Both models will be sold together, at least in Taiwan. «New» FonePad will cost about $ 364, the «old» model – about $ 300. That is, the price for an additional 16 GB of memory and a 400 MHz processor speed is 60 with little dollars. It seems not so little, but, for example, the difference between the 16 and 32 GB versions of the iPhone is $ 100. So far there is no information about when the «new» FonePad will (and will do) sold outside Taiwan.

This weekend Nokia announced its Flagship device – The Nokia Lumia 928 which will be released on Thursday of this week (16th may, 2013) at Verizon Wireless. This device is a successor of the Nokia Lumia 920, so it is quite obvious that it will possess some features of Lumia 920 and as a successor will it will have many additions too. The manufacturer gives it a title as the – World’s most Innovative Smartphone.

Here are the features of this device which may bring you closer to the device

Features of the Innovative Nokia Lumia 928

Operating System

This device as the other Lumia devices will run on the Windows Mobile OS. However this device will have the latest version of Windows Phone OS – Windows Mobile 8.
Windows OS is light on RAM which is a boon for the users of this device.

Camera

This flagship device will be powered by an excellent camera, It will spot a 8.7 Mega Pixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The camera and the flash system in this device will also differ from The Lumia 920. It will possess Xenon flash which is whiter as well as lighter than LED Flash.

The XENON flash will only be used for capturing Still Images and for Capturing videos this device will use the normal LED Flash, It will be able to capture 1080p HD Videos @30fps. The use of XENON Flash to capture images will lead to Capturing of clear and brighter images and the Optical Image stabilizing will lead to brilliant pictures in all types of lighting.

A Smartphone high-end Smartphone without a secondary camera is just like a Pizza without Cheese. This phone will also possess a 1.2 Mega Pixel Secondary camera [Front Camera] which will be able to record videos at 720p [HD Videos].

Display

With a 4.5 inch WXGA HD OLED Display accompanied by 334 ppi Pixel density. The display Resolution will be 1280 x 768.

It will also be featured by Sunlight Readability Enhancement (SRE) and High Brightness Mode (HBM).

The Super-sensitive touch screen enables you to interact with the display with the gloves and even long nails (Finger nails).

Whether it is a AMOLED display or OLED, protection is important so the display of this phone will be protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

Hardware

1.) Processor

A Processor is responsible for each and every action in a device. This Flagship device will be powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor which will be held accountable for processing of Data, Calculations. Etc

The Processor present in the phone is held responsible for all the tasks running in the phone. A phone with Good RAM and Enough memory will be worthless if it won’t have a processor because it won’t be able to process anything.

2.) RAM (Primary Memory)

A RAM is a temporary storage which holds the current data. It is the temporary storage available; it is used to perform various tasks like playing a song, playing a Game, Typing a text. Etc. This Device will have 1GB RAM to run maximum number of apps and as Windows OS is Light on RAM 1GB RAM is enough for smooth working of a phone. This is the place where Windows takes over Android. As Windows OS is light on RAM the space to run other apps is available and leads to smooth working of the phone.

3.) Storage (Secondary Memory)

This Device will have 32GB Internal memory (Formatted capacity will be less) for storing all the data which includes Songs, Videos, Apps, Games, and Movies Etc. You will also get 7GB Cloud storage. This storage is enough for an average user but people who store bulk of data may face memory shortage.

Data & Connectivity

This Smartphone will be having data features like

GPRS (236.8kbps)

HSDPA (42.2 Mbps)

HSUPA (5.76 Mbps)

LTE (50 Mbps)

This phone will be led by the following Connectivity features:-

This time the Indian Smartphone manufacturer- Micromax launches a New Android powered Smartphone named Micromax Canvas 3D A115. This Smartphone looks the same as the other members of Micromax Canvas Family but has one big difference, this phone has a 3D Display which is not present in the other members of the Canvas family. Micromax A115 Canvas 3D enables you to Experience 3D even without 3D Glasses. This Smartphone not only allows to view 3D without glasses but also allows the user to shoot in 3D, Convert normal images into 3D. This breath-taking Smartphone is priced under the tag of Rs. 9,999. Let us now see the features of this Smartphone so that we feel spending Rs. 9,999 is Gainful or not.

Operating System

Micromax Canvas 3D A115 operates on the same OS on which the CANVAS FAMILY members operate. It is motorized by the most beloved Android OS and has Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) Version installed in it.

Touch Screen and Display

Micromax Canvas 3D A115, the name itself suggests that this device with a 3D Display. This Smartphone comes with a 5-inch naked-eye 3D type capacitive display with 187ppi pixel density. It will also support Multi-touch as it brothers does (CANVAS HD and CANVAS HD2). It has some mechanism which is absent in its brothers that is, it has a Naked-eye 3D Display which enables the user to experience 3D without any 3D Glasses. The Screen’s resolution is only 480×800 Pixels. This breath-taking Smartphone will have no Screen protection.

Camera Quality

A Smartphone without good camera cannot be called a Good Smartphone. Micromax placed terrific 8MP camera in Canvas HD and Canvas HD2 but The Micromax Canvas 3D A115 comes with a 5 Mega Pixels (1920×2560) Primary camera with a LED Flash and Autofocus Feature. This camera is capable of recording videos with 640×480 Resolution at 30fps. This Smartphone will also possess a VGA Secondary camera which will be used for making Video calls and having video chats

Processor

A Processor is responsible for processing each and every Event which occurs. Event is a happening of an action e.g. touching the screen, pressing a button. Etc. so a device without a processor is of no use. The processor can be called as the heart of a device. This Smartphone possesses 1 GHz Dual-core processor with MT 6577 chipset. We get what we pay for! 1GHz processor in Rs 9,999 is not a bad deal at all.

Sensors

Sensors, the name itself suggests us that it is something related to sensing. A Smartphone without sensors is not a good smartphone. The Micromax Canvas 3D will feature Accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensors

RAM

A RAM is a temporary memory which is necessary for performing tasks. This Smartphone as its brother’s will have 512 MB RAM to Run maximum number of applications at a time.
Being a 3D phone it should at least have 1GB RAM for smooth Smartphone performance but still it will operate smooth As it will come with MT 6577 Chipset.

Storage

Storage in a phone is required to store data. In a Smartphone storage is of two types

Internal Storage

Internal storage is the amount of memory which is present in the phone memory. Micromax Canvas 3D will contain 4GB Internal storage which will be used to store data in the phone.
4GB in 3D Smartphone is less but this shortage can be overtaken by External storage

External Storage

External storage is the amount which is brought into a phone via SD Card. In Micromax Canvas 3D the External storage ( SD Card ) is limited to the size of 32GB
Using of External storage in phone’s with less internal memory is very important as it frees the INTERNAL STORAGE of the phone which leads to smooth working of the phone without hanging and other problems.

SIM Cards

Can anyone ever describe a phone without a SIM card? I hope not! You can use apps like Viber to call, WhatsApp for Sending Messages but what if the other person doesn’t have a Smartphone.
So SIM Card is very important instrument which help in connecting people with as well as without Internet. Micromax Canvas 3D A115 comes with Dual SIM SLOT so you can insert 2 SIM Cards for connecting with people if you’re not satisfied with one. This feature especially attracts people who travel much so that they don’t lose connectivity.

Data and Connectivity

Micromax Canvas 3D will come with following data and connectivity features:-

GPRS ,EDGE, HSPA, HSUPA

Wi-Fi – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Bluetooth- Bluetooth version 4.0

USB- Micro USB v2.0

It will be missing the NFC feature which is present in most of the Smartphone’s

Battery

A Smartphone tends to have less battery. Micromax Canvas 3D A115 is packed with Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which will provide 225hours of Standby and 4hours 30 minutes Talk time
But even after putting such a good battery there will be short battery Standby because the phone is Naked-eye 3D phone, The mechanism behind making it a Naked-Eye 3D phone will make its battery life short.

Conclusion

After reading the specs I would conclude the following

It has a large screen with less resolution 480×800

Phone is most recommended for Entertainment purpose

Dual SIM Card Attracts Travellers and people who are not able to manage with a single SIM card

Naked-Eye 3D Experience- allows to experience 3D without 3D Glasses

Only 512MB RAM in a 3D phone is not sufficient for smooth working

NFC Feature is not available in this Smartphone

Good Battery but will not have a good Standby as it is a 3D Smartphone

Only 5MP Primary Camera – No matter there are still phones with 0.5 MP Primary Camera but a 5 MP Camera is old fashioned

Secondary Camera is a VGA camera, which is not discourages people who do video calling and capture images using a front camera a phone should atleast have 1.2 MP Secondary Camera for Quality Experience

Low Internal Storage only – 4GB

Best Smartphone UNDER Rs 10K

But if we compare all the features with the price then, the user gets what he pays for! Naked-eye 3D experience also saves the cost of 3D Glasses
A phone which has awesome features in that price. This phone competes the Samsung Galaxy Grand – From the Korean Smartphone giant, Samsung.

Samsung is all set for the launch event of Samsung Galaxy S4. Samsung had already announced in past that they are going to launch Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14 2013 at times square new york. It will be really an unique kind of launch event as unique as the mobile.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Samsung had released few official teaser videos of Samsung Galaxy S4 in past. The video Teasers of Samsung Galaxy S4 have already created high buzz in cyber world.

Seeing all different ways of creating excitement towards S4 by the company we can anticipate that mobile will surely be having highly unique features and surely going to give high level competition to Apple iPhone and Sony Xperia’s Z series phones.

Predications about Samsung Galaxy S4′s technical specifications :

Samsung Galaxy S4 probably will be powered by high powerful quad core processor. Reports say that Samsung will be launching S4 in different country with different variant of processors.

It will be having 5 inch SuLux display. It will be first of its kind smart phone in market to be powered with SuLux display.

It will be having 13 MP HD primary camera which will be able to click and record HD videos.

It will also be having 2 MP secondary front facing camera for video chat.

Reports also say that phone will be having gesture recognition. For example if you are watching a video on S4 and the moment you move your eyes away from the screen the mobile will pause the video. This feature will probably known as Smart Pause. Smart pause will probably even pause the games you are playing on the device.

It will also be having feature named Smart Scroll that is you can scroll screen using your eye gestures. So if all this reports are true then for sure S4 will be unique and first of its kind mobile to feature Gesture recognition. If all this go true then Apple and Sony who are tough competitors of Samsung in Smart phone market surely going to face hard times soon.

Well guarantee of presence of any of above anticipated feature can’t be taken till Samsung officially makes any statement over S4. Or we need to wait till 14 of March when Samsung is Officially going to launch the mobile into the market.

Reports also suggest that Samsung S4 will not be having anything new in matter of design. It will be all upgraded version of S3 with little tweaks and modifications to it. Many leaked pics into the market from Chinese technology blogs also support this statement. So if it’s true then we can say that Samsung is following Apple’s strategy of iPhone design. Apple launches newer versions of iPhone with design almost similar to previous versions.

So what do you feel ? Will Samsung Galaxy S4 be a highly advanced phone compared to all other smart phones released into the market ? Will it be able to beat Apple’s iPhone and Sony Xperia Z series mobile phones ? Comment your view Below.
