MBLAQ‘s Mir cried his heart out in the arms of his group leader, Seungho.

On the February 9th episode of KBS Joy‘s ‘Hello Baby‘, the boys received help from a child counseling professional. The purpose of the visit was to help their daughter Dayoung open up more and learn how to better express her feelings.

Dayoung, who cried on episode 3 because of Mir, explained her feelings about the incident to the counselor, causing Mir (who was watching her through the monitor) to tear up with remorse. The idol felt overwhelmed by sorrow and had to receive comfort from his hyung, Seungho.

After crying his heart out, Mir composed himself and began to actively re-build his relationship with Dayoung for the better.

Big Bang members, G-Dragon and Daesung, have decided to open up about their respective controversies through SBS TV‘s ’Healing Camp‘.

On February 10th, an SBS representative revealed that the two idols wrapped up recording for the show, where they discussed their personal struggles after getting embroiled in scandals involving marijuana and a fatal car accident.

“The two carefully talked about how they felt when the controversies emerged, and the pain they went through during their hiatus,” said a staff member.

G-Dragon and Daesung apologized to their fans back in December of 2011 when they performed for the ‘15th Anniversary YG Family Concert‘.  Additionally, Daesung made his small-screen comeback after a long hiatus through MBN‘s drama, ‘What’s Up‘. Their upcoming appearance on ‘Healing Camp’, however, will mark both G-Dragon and Daesung’s first move to talk publicly about their scandals.

Big Bang will be releasing their new album on February 29th, and will hold a concert in Seoul on March 2nd to the 4th.  In addition, the group plans to go on a world tour that will cover 16 countries and 25 cities.

Actors Yoo Ah In, Shin Se Kyung, and Girls’ Generation member Yuri will be heading to the States to film scenes for SBS‘s new drama series, ‘Fashion King‘.

The shoot will take place both in New York City and Las Vegas from February 11th through the 23rd, and all the main characters will be in attendance. Yoo Ah In, Shin Se Kyung, and Yuri all have independent scenes to shoot in Las Vegas, and so they will be the first to head overseas.

Staff members remarked, “The beginning of the script is extremely important, as the characters travel to New York with their individual stories and backgrounds; the story unfolds as they experience different things in the city. We have invested a lot of time and resources into this drama by filming overseas, and we plan to make it worthwhile by capturing the unique essence of ‘Fashion King’ on film.”

New York City will be hosting its annual ‘Fashion Week’ during their stay, which collaborates perfectly with the stars’ arrival. It’s likely that elements from the week-long fashion event will be found in the scenes.

‘Fashion King’ tells the story of determined young people who started out in Korea’s Dongdaemun area; they eventually transform into internationally-acclaimed designers. The first episode airs on March 12th at 9:55 p.m. KST.

Earlier today, allkpop reported about an idol star who was being blackmailed by a former girlfriend. The ex-girlfriend had threatened to release naked photos of the idol star if she was not compensated financially.

The issue is currently the hottest topic online, and netizens began to speculate that the unnamed idol was none other than JYJ member, Park Yoochun. The rumors spread like wildfire on the Internet, causing JYJ to personally step out and address the issue.

On February 10th, a JYJ representative spoke with eDaily Star and stated, “We’ve checked with Park Yoochun and learned that he has no connection whatsoever with the event. These are unproven speculations, and to be honest, it is shocking to us as well. We’ve been struggling to decide whether we should make an official announcement about this matter since we had nothing to do with it. However, we became increasingly worried as the rumors spread.”

The issue revolves around a former girlfriend of an idol star, who threatened to leak a naked photo of his upper body. The girlfriend also threatened his agency, saying that if they did not pay her 1 billion KRW, she would release more photos, supposedly taken in October of 2011.

But the problems don’t stop there. Additional rumors are spreading on the Internet, asserting that there are also videos of the idol and his former girlfriend. Prosecutors have announced that they have collected the pictures from the woman, but videos were not found.

After winning first place on KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘ with their latest single, “Going Crazy“, it’s no surprise to see that TEEN TOP‘s popularity is on the rise.

The idol group have announced that they’ll be holding their first fan meeting, ‘2012 TEEN TOP CRAZY Fanmeeting‘, in Taiwan on March 11th. The ’2012 TEEN TOP CRAZY Fanmeeting’ is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. (local time) at Taiwan’s ATT SHOWBOX.

An organizer for the event revealed, “TEEN TOP have never been to Taiwan, but they have an established fan club with strong support from fans in their teens. That’s why we were able to organize a single fan meeting.”

The boys of TEEN TOP have also been receiving offers to perform in Malaysia, Thailand, and other Asian countries.

With the group pencilling in more domestic and international activities into their schedules, it looks like it’s going to be a good year for TEEN TOP and their Angels!

EXO continues to roll out the teasers for their upcoming debut!

Their newest video picks up from where the last teaser ended, with the camera zooming in on Kai posing as a coat rack. The idol then flows into a smooth dance, all while staying true to his ‘coat rack’ form by hanging onto a jacket and a hat.

Earlier, allkpop had reported about the rumors buzzing around Girls’ Generation Seohyun and Yoon Gun‘s possible collaboration.

As it turns out, those rumors were in fact true. It’s been confirmed that they’ve teamed up for a digital single entitled “Don’t say no“!

Singer-songwriter Yoon Gun personally composed this track, which is said to be a very mellow and relaxing piece. “Don’t say no” weaves together the tranquil sounds of a guitar, piano, and even a string quartet. The delicate composition is supported by lyrics that tell of a man who confesses to his love.

This particular duet song was produced as a warm gift to fans in light of the upcoming spring season.

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong has once again become the face of casual clothing brand, Hang Ten Korea!

Hang Ten Korea’s executive director Jung Yong Ha remarked, “Kim Hyun Joong increased the likeability of our brand by modeling for us last year. His image is one that appeals to the masses, and his stylish nature pairs well with our brand’s image.”

Kim Hyun Joong will be endorsing the brand’s Spring/Summer collection, and will continue to serve as their official model for the next year.

The concept for this season’s line is ‘casual and easy to wear’; highlighted pieces from the collection include light cardigans and comfortable plaid shirts.

MBLAQ‘s Seungho has been selected by professionals as the best infant caretaker amongst the members.

On the February 9th episode of KBS Joy‘s ‘MBLAQ’s Hello Baby‘, the members met with child counselor Kim Mi Young, who gave the boys reports on their parenting skills thus far.

After carefully observing the members and their parenting styles, Kim Mi Young selected the best and worst parent.

Based on her analysis, the professional stated that MBLAQ’s best ‘father’ was none other than leader Seungho. “His parenting skills are on a level similar to mine,” she explained.

On the other hand, Mir was selected as the worst parent, receiving only 26 points of 200.

Hallyu star Jang Woo Hyuk gifted the entire staff and cast members of his Chinese drama with winter clothing.

Jang Woo Hyuk, who has been cast as the main lead in the upcoming Chinese drama ‘My Forgetful Girlfriend‘, is currently filming the series in Beijing.

The singer thanked each and every single one of his staff and cast members by surprising them with winter clothes to keep them warm while filming in the cold Beijing weather.

A representative from his agency remarked, “The set is extremely cold due to the wind chill, and Jang Woo Hyuk has continuously showed his concern for the staff members. We hope that the staff will be a little bit warmer and more comfortable for the rest of the shoot, and thus create a great drama.”

A sound engineer who received the clothing set remarked, “I was so surprised and so touched. It has been so hard to film lately because of the cold, and I’m so grateful for Jang Woo Hyuk’s generosity.”

In related news, this drama will mark Jang Woo Hyuk’s first stab at acting, and so he is working hard to deliver his best performance.

On February 9th, ZE:A‘s Junyoung celebrated his 23rd birthday (24th in Korea). To help celebrate, fans poured out their love, gifting him with various presents and birthday wishes.

A proof picture was uploaded through ZE:A’s official me2day account, stating, “2012.02.09 Happy Birthday to Jun Young!! Find Junyoung, who is hiding within the presents that everybody sent!!!! Today’s birthday, Moon! Leader! Congratulate him!!!”

In the uploaded picture, fans were able to see the many gifts that were sent to congratulate the idol on his birthday, from stuffed animals to pictures, to cakes. Junyoung is standing behind all the presents, making a big heart to show his appreciation for all the presents. In particular, many fans had to do a double take to find Junyoung, as he blended in with the windows in the background in his black sweatshirt.

Korean-American ‘American Idol Season 11‘ contestant Heejun Han is one step closer to being a star.

The February 8th episode of ‘American Idol’  featured the contestants auditioning on ‘Hollywood Week’, and Han won the judges’ votes by singing Michael Bolton‘s “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You“.

Although he looked quite nervous to perform after the confident and suave Johnny Keyser who won the heart of judge Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo), Heejun shook off his jitters and started his song. He did gain some confidence after J.Lo whispered “I love him,” to Steven Tyler in the middle of his performance.

When he sang the lyrics, “When all that I’ve been livin’ for is gone,” he even mustered up the courage to point to J.Lo, who remarked that his performance brought her to tears.

Much to his relief, Heejun made it on to the next round.

‘American Idol’ is the biggest singing audition program in the United States. It aired it’s first season in 2002, and season 11 kicked off last month on January 18th. 309 contestants made it to Hollywood Week, and the top 24 from this group will be able to compete for the ‘American Idol’ title.

But Heejun Han isn’t the first to audition on American Idol. The first was Paul Kim of season 6 who made it to the top 24, as did John Park in season 9, who will be releasing his debut album in Korea on February 22nd.

During a recent interview with online music portal ‘Monkey3‘, FT Island revealed the real reason to their appearance on ‘Immortal Song 2′.

When the members were asked whether or not it was their good looks that caused people to question their actual skills they replied, “People accused us of not actually playing our instruments just by looking at our hand motions on television. There were even rumors that the background music in our albums were not even performed by us. This is probably the main reason why we decided to be on ‘Immortal Song 2′. The rumors were really unsettling.”

They then stated, “We were very glad when we received positive feedback when we appeared on the show. Just by performing live infront of the crowds and showing them we did not fake any of our performances made the stage even more special and meaningful.”

Jay Park will be returning to ‘Immortal Song 2‘.

The singer who left the show last August due to a busy schedule will be re-joining the ‘Immortal Song 2′ line-up and his first filming will take place on February 13th.

“I was given the opportunity to return to Immortal Song 2,” he said during an interview with JoyNews24 on February 9th. ”It’s true that it’s stressful, but it’s also fun.”

“I already know that I’m the worst singer on the show,” he humbly remarked. “For me, it’s not a competition against the other singers, but rather a chance to challenge myself.”

In addition to returning to the hit program, Jay Park has also recently released his first full-length album ‘NEW BREED‘.

The MBLAQ members have their eyes on girl group A-Pink.

The boys who are actively promoting their song “This Is War” recently guest-featured to film the February 11th episode of MBC Everyone‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘.

When MC Jung Hyung Don asked if there were any girl groups that have caught their attention as of late, MBLAQ leader Seungho and fellow member G.O. agreed that A-Pink is one of their favorites groups.

“They’re really nice girls, very respectful and polite,” they said.

Member Mir also chimed in and said, “I think member Eunji is the cutest out of all of them,” which caused Lee Joon to quickly blurt out, “Hey, I liked Eunji first!”

Lee Joon was then given a chance to send Eunji a video message, and he said, “I enjoy seeing you perform. You are a great singer, and I love the way you smile so adorably.”

This episode of ‘Weekly Idol airs on February 11th at 2:00PM KST.

Singer Jay Park admitted that when he confessed that actress Min Hyorin was attractive, things got a little awkward between them.

During an interview that took place on February 9th, Jay remarked, “One time I said that I thought Min Hyorin from the movie ‘Sunny‘ was really pretty, and everyone made it seem like she was my ideal woman. It got really awkward between us after that.”

“I go to the same salon as Min Hyorin,” he continued. “We usually say hello, but after that, I think twice before saying Hi.”

“I don’t really have an ideal type. Every time I see a new movie or drama, there is always a new person that I think is pretty,” he added. “So now I kinda regret saying that about Min Hyorin.”

In related news, Jay Park has made a comeback to the K-pop scene after being away from a year, and released his new full-length album ‘New Breed‘ on February 7th. Jay produced the album himself while writing and composing 80% of the songs on the album. Jay will make his live comeback next week, and will also join the ‘Immortal Song 2‘ line-up.

The boys of Big Bang arrived in style at JFK International Airport on February 9th.

Allegedly, Big Bang is in New York City to film a music video from their upcoming 5th mini album “Alive“. If you can recall, Big Bang did this very same thing last year in February when they went to Las Vegas to film the music video for “TONIGHT“.

So New Yorkers, don’t be surprised if you see the boys of Big Bang walking around in the Big Apple.
