Apple iPhone 4G Design Leaked

According to China Ontrade, this (the picture below is the Apple iPhone 4th Generation Midboard OEM. The part came from Foxconn to China Ontrade warehouse at 11.01.2009. The price for Apple iPhone 4th Generation Midboard OEM is US$23.42 and can be ship within 5 to 12 working days.

Is this for real? There is no official word from Apple whether this is the real design or not. Considering that China Ontrade (correctly) leaked details on the iPhone 3GS before, it could be real one.

The Enicycle – Single Wheel Transportation

You may have seen single wheel bicycle, or so called unicycle but have you seen unicycle with motor in it?

Aleksander Polutnik, Slovenian inventor has designed a new motorized unicycle call Enicycle. Enicycle is one-wheel self-stabilizing unicycle. He claims that it is eaily learning to ride in less than 30 minutes.

Enicycle is powered by a electric motor and features a self-balancing gyroscope system that runs 100 times per second. To move forward or increase speed of Enicycle, simply lean your body forward and to slow down or stop, simple lean backward your body.

Guus Oosterbaan has designed and created a radio called rock radio. The radio is made by REAL rock. Here is the front look of the radio:

My ROCK Radio is number two in my cement-audio-series. It started of being a very nice rectangular brick shape. Then I found out that a thick layer of cement shields the radio from actually receiving radio waves. With my “Now it doesn’t work anyway” philosophy, I took a big hammer and created this Flintstones look, and the radio works!

Nokia, a well known mobile phone manufacturer, is working on a technology that allows mobile phones, and maybe other devices too, to charge up using radio wave.

By 2013, Nokia hope that customers will be able to use ambient electromagnetic radiation (AER) to recharge their mobile phones.

The main idea is to take advantage of the radiation emitted via WiFi transmitters and converting that into energy to charge your phone’s battery. As long as the receiving device does not consume more watts than it can get from the WiFi radio, you still can harvest energy.

The World’s Smallest Mircrowave

Heinz, an US-based food company has created the world smallest microwave, measuring just 150mm x 160mm x 190mm. The microwave, Beanzawave, is so compact to work with the USB port of your computer and offer a solution to “food at your desk” or “on the go”.

Beanzawave is run by USB and can cook a tiny snack sized meal or warm a beverage. It actually doesn’t use microwaves to heat up the food because the power supplied from the USB is not enought to generate microwaves.

Instead, Beazawaze uses the same sort of waves used for cellular telephones (which should give everyone pause considering we all have a phone next to our ears every day) to generate the heat needed to cook or warm up the food or drink.

Beanzawave is still under prototype. The Beanzawave was developed by Gama Microwave Technology in association with Heinz which hopes to pair it with their new snack food line known as “Snap Pots”.

The cost of Beanzawave is projected to be about $150, which is quite pricy if compared to an ordinary microwave.

Google Introduces Smart Navigation in Street View

Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps + Google Earth. It provides for many streets in the world 360° horizontal and 290° vertical panoramic views from a row of positions along the street (one in every 10 or 20 meters, or so), from a height of about two meters.

Google launched some great improvements to this tool. Google has implemented “Smart Navigation” which makes you walk and/or stalk virtual a lot easier, and way, way cooler.

Try it out here, we are now at Rue Saint-Antoine, Paris, France. It is really cool!

LG Thinnest LCD TV Panel

LG has developed a what it claims are the world’s thinnest 42- and 47-inch LCD TV panels. The LCD TV panels realize a panel thickness of 5.9mm only. It’s less then 1 cm!

The LCD TV panel uses LGS (light guide sheet) technology reduce the thickness of the light guide plate (LGP) by more than half. The 42- and 47-inch LCD TV panels only weigh in at a mere 6.1kg and 7.3kg each. The display unit has response time of 8ms and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.

Possibly The World’s Smallest Car

Perry Watkins, a British man has made a car which he claims is the world smallest car. He bought the Postman Pat coin-in-the-slot children’s ride from a vendor in Scotland to make his smallest car.

He also added mirrors, windscreen wipers and washers, lights and indicators and a 150cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine to make the car run like a real car on the road. The car is so small only have 39ins high and 26ins wide.
