Guess Who Aya Hirano Voiced In Yakuza 4

Yakuza 4 was launched in Japan yesterday and if you have gotten yourself a copy like me, then you might have heard the familiar voice of seiyuu Aya Hirano (平野綾).

Well Aya Hirano actually lend her voice to Hana, who is the secretary of Shun Akiyama (秋山駿), who is one of the four protagonist in the game. Hana is a very interesting character and Aya Hirano definitely did a good job injecting that kawaii fun personality into Hana.

Nendoroid Puchi Noel Vermillion

Preorders have started for the limited edition of the upcoming fighting game BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT, to be released on both the PS3 and Xbox360. As mentioned previously, the limited edition would contain the kawaii Nendoroid Puchi Noel Vermillion.

The game is scheduled for release on 1 Jul 2010, and the limited bundle will be retailing for around 9,200 yen. Interested folks can check out Otacute for the PS3 and Xbox 360 limited edition bundles.

Can’t wait for this game to be released! Now I gotta start digging out my arcade fighting stick controller that I had placed into my storeroom.

Yuko Ogura Launches Uniqlo’s Leggings

Gravure idol Yuko Ogura (小倉優子) was present at Tokyo Midtown today to help launch Uniqlo’s new line of leggings for Spring, which would be going for sale from 990 yen to 1,990 yen.

She even mentioned that the leggings looked really cool and she would wear them when she goes clubbing.

Somehow I thought her outfit didn’t really quite matched the leggings, but she still looked as kawaii as ever. ^^

figma Azusa Nakano

MaxFactory has started taking preorder for the figma figure of Azusa Nakano (中野梓) from the anime series K-On! She is the final release in the lineup K-On! girls and the reason why I’m getting her is because of her nekomimi!!

She is scheduled for release in August 2010 and will be retailing for around 2,800 yen. Interested folks can place your preorders with Hobby Search or Otacute.

I’m really a big fan of Mount Fuji, so despite featuring it twice for my Today’s Japan photo series, we are going to visit this majestic mountain again today.

Race Queen Of The Year – 2009/2010

Once again, Japan has selected its Race Queen of the Year for 2009/2010, and this year it was awarded to the 21 year old Nanao [菜々], which is a model and has appeared in magazines such as non-no and PINKY. Nanao received the award yesterday from the hands of Chisato Morishita, whom was also a past winner of the award.

She just started her race queen job last year as part of the TEAM YOSHIKI ROCKSTAR Girl crew. In addition, she was named Miss Tokyo Girls Collection in 2009, and has been chosen as the 2010 Sanai Mizugi Image Girl and one of the 2010 SUPER GT Image Girls.
