- Drill targets defined from using airborne vtem survey, follow up drilling currently being planned

- Drill intersection represents a significant discovery in the gowganda elk lake silver camp

- Recent assessment work highlights high-grade potential

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(Nov. 5, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce results from an earlier drill program and reevaluation of the Corkill-Lawson silver project. The property is located approximately 15 kilometers southeast of the town of Gowganda, Ontario. Drill hole HCL0701, which intersected 2,393 g/t Ag, 0.31% Co, 0.46% Cu and 0.17% Ni over 0.41 meters from 99.97 to 100.38 meters, will be the primary focus of the upcoming program. The Gowganda area was the second largest silver producer in Ontario after the Cobalt area, having produced 60,186,782 oz Ag up until 1969.

"We are pleased to announce the Company is moving forward with the Corkill-Lawson silver project. Recent assessment work completed on the property clearly highlights its potential," comments Company President, Richard Hughes. "A review of previous drill data, including the high grade intercept mentioned, has been completed andwill guide future exploration efforts".

Original exploration by the Company was conducted to identify silver-cobalt-nickel veins hosted in and proximal to a Nipissing diabase dike that strikes north-south through the Corkill and Lawson townships. Drill targets were defined on the basis of VTEM airborne geophysical anomalies in conjunction with targeting mature differentiated diabase similar to the diabase hosted silver deposits of the Gowganda area.

The Company would also like to announce it underground work in the Silvana mine, in British Columbia is progressing well. A drift is currently being put into to what the Company believes is the western extension of the Main Lode structure, the controlling structure responsible for the majority of production in the Slocan silver camp. Underground drilling is also underway at the eastern end of the Silvana mine.

Peter Caldbick, P.Geo., is the qualified person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 for the Company's Corkill-Lawson Project. The technical contents of the press release have been reviewed and approved by Peter Caldbick.

- 12 KNOWN HIGH-GRADE GOLD, SILVER AND LEAD VEINS OVER 44 SQUARE KM

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA- (Oct. 30, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received initial results from a late summer work program at its Connaught Project in Yukon Territory.

Excavator trenching was conducted to enhance exposure and access to high grade silver veins, in preparation for bulk sampling. Assay results from 36 rock samples and 116 soil samples collected in September are now being received and data is being compiled. The program was done by an exploration team led by Professional Geologist William Mann.

Preliminary assay results have confirmed three new areas of mineralization discovered during the program including:

- Sample collected 1.8km south of the No. 4 vein returned 4.13 g/t Au, 406 g/t Ag and 10.4% Pb.

- Two samples collected over 500m from the nearest trenches, northeast of the No. 7 vein returned 3.98 g/t Au, 201 g/t Ag & 30% Pb, and 1.71 g/t Au, 1705 g/t Ag, & 12.2% Pb.

- A sample collected approximately 700m south of the No. 8 vein returned 0.874 g/t Au, 312 g/t Ag, & 7.08% Pb.

"These highly anomalous rock samples are significant in that they were found well beyond the 12 know veins, in areas with very little outcrop, and located in unglaciated terrain indicating a local source," comments Company President, Richard Hughes. "As the primary focus of the program was to prepare existing veins for potential 2010 bulk sampling, we are extremely encouraged by the added value these discoveries bring to the project."

Soil geochemistry was conducted to build on previous surveys, and extends well beyond the existing grid to untested southern and northern areas of the property. Additional soil sampling will be done to complete survey coverage of the property.

Aside from proposed bulk sampling, the 2010 exploration program will include trenching of these new discoveries as well as further prospecting in the surrounding area.

The Qualified Person for the purpose of National Instrument 43-101 is William Mann, PGeo, who has read and agreed with the technical information in this news release.

About the Connaught Property

Previous exploration at the Connaught Property revealed silver, gold and lead mineralization in 12 veins over an area measuring roughly 11 kilometres by 4 kilometres. Porphyry and skarn mineralization is also present in the area. The mineralization is thought to be related to Cretaceous intrusions, similar to many other important gold and silver deposits which lie within the Tintina Gold Belt.

- DRILLING TESTS NUMEROUS SOIL ANOMALIES WHERE SIGNIFICANT OVERBURDEN LIMITS TRENCHING

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(Oct. 26, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of a drilling program testing in the Hewitt - Van Roi area in the southern part of the Slocan camp. Four holes have been drilled in the first-phase of this program to test for extension of structures and mineralization to the west, beyond the known workings. Upon completion of these initial holes the Company may initiate a second phase, dependent on results and weather limitations. Due to the high elevation of the target area the second phase may be postponed until the following spring. The Company is also drilling underground in the past producing Silvana Mine.

To view a map of the Hewitt - Van Roi and other areas of exploration in the Slocan Camp click on the following link:

The Hewitt - Van Roi exploration area includes the past-producing Hewitt and Van Roi Mines, which produced approximately 400,000 tonnes averaging 300.5 g/t silver and 2.8% lead (Van Roi) and 529 g/t silver and 1.5% lead (Hewitt). During the 2009 spring/summer regional exploration program the Company completed a number of soil grids and geophysical surveys, focusing on the area immediately west of the Hewitt Mine. Targets identified from these surveys are guiding the current program.

Several holes defined small structures, one containing minor sulphides, that paralleled the Hewitt vein system. The final hole in this initial phase discovered a wide structural zone, on strike with the Hewitt vein and believed to the extension of the lode system. Further drilling of this structure is warranted, in order to locate potential mineralization within it.

Data collected from drilling will be compiled and used in the planning of the Company's 2010 spring/summer regional exploration program.

- DRILL TO BE MOVED TO WESTERN EXTENSION UPON COMPLETION OF THE DRIFT

- PAST DRILLING SHOWS HIGH-GRADE MINERALIZATION OVER NARROW WIDTHS IN MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF 4625

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(Oct. 20, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has commenced a diamond drilling program and re-evaluation in an easily accessible, partly-explored area near former productive stopes. Test mining is planned for this area on and just below the main 4625 Level of the Silvana Mine. The program is taking place as the Company is also extending a drift at the west end of the 4625 level into the recently discovered lode structure (see press release October 7, 2009). Upon completion of the western drift extension the drill will be moved to drill into the lode structure to test for mineralization.

The Company has identified an area close to and updip of the East Decline (main access to the lower levels of the Silvana Mine) which in the past received limited diamond drilling partly because of its proximity to this main production haulageway. Earlier drilling shows intermittent narrow widths of high grade mineralization in an overall area of several thousand square feet. This occurs in the Main Lode structure between more consistently mineralized areas.

In-fill diamond drilling is planned for the gaps between the narrow intercepts to identify possible mineralized areas amenable to small-scale mining. Preliminary work has been completed including rehabilitation in both the 4625 East Drift and East Decline accesses with rock removal in the latter and re-establishing electric, compressed air and water services. Total drilling planned is 600 feet in up to 8 holes drilled from the 4625 East Drift and the East Decline. The intent is to explore at or above the elevation of the main 4625 Level so that no sinking would be necessary to access any remove mineralized material selected for milling.

Test mining would be by via cross-cutting to and/or raising relatively short distances (less than 100 feet) to the Main Lode structure in any identified areas of interest. As with the 4755 Level program previously announced grade control would be paramount, to include extensive channel and muck sampling to identify the economic production area(s). Similarly the muck from the development would be evaluated and stockpiled. On-site assaying of samples is available by fire and wet methods and by a newly commissioned Niton XRF analyzer. The Niton analyzer enables rapid multiple determinations of metal contents in conventionally-prepared samples. Turnaround time and quantity of data available to the mining operation are improved, both relevant factors in decision-making on a daily basis. Personnel using the XRF device are certified by NRCAN. Niton analyzer results are for in-house purposes only and are not NI 43-101 compliant.

Trenching Summary:

- Trench 3 uncovered a 20cm diameter boulder of mainly galena which contained 72.42% Pb, 2.41%Zn, 2895g/tonne Ag. (JB09-09). Trench 3 is located west of the Jackson mine workings.

- Trench 5 had a fault zone with samples assaying up to 17.59% Pb, 1.12% Zn, 687g/tonne Ag. (JB09-T05-R03) A thin quartz vein offset by the fault contained 8.13% Pb, 3.91% Zn, 377g/tonne Ag. (JB09-T05-R04).

- Trench 10, 8m along strike from the mineralized zone in Trench 8, showed variable mineralization. Samples from the zone yielded values up to 5.01% Pb, 2.40% Zn and 124g/tonne Ag. The zone is believed to be the eastern extension of the Jackson lode structure which mined 5847 tonnes at average grades of 14.65%Pb, 10.92%Zn and 531g/tonne Ag.

- Trench 8 revealed a shear zone approximately 2.6m wide with extensional quartz veins hosting lead and zinc mineralization. Chip samples across the zone assayed up to 6.85% Pb, 6.42% Zn and 204 g/tonne Ag (see table below):

Klondike Silver Corp. Discovers Western Extension of Lode Structure on Initial Underground Drilling of Silvana Mine

- 'MAIN LODE' WAS PRINCIPAL SOURCE OF PRODUCTION FOR NUMEROUS MAJOR PRODUCERS WITHIN THE SLOCAN CAMP, INCLUDING THE SILVANA, MAMMOTH, SILVERSMITH AND STANDARD MINES

- TARGET AREA WAS SLATED FOR FURTHER EXPLORATION WHEN MINE SHUT DOWN IN 1990s AS A RESULT OF LOW METAL PRICES

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(Aug. 27, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the "Company") is pleased to report that initial diamond drilling west of the past-producing Silvana Mine has revealed the presence of a favorable structure with similar geological characteristics to the historic "Main Lode" structure. The "Main Lode" structure was the principal source of silver/lead/zinc production in the prolific Sandon Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia.

An audio interview summarizing this release has been prepared with the Company's Mine Manager, Steve Phillips, is available through AGORACOM Investor Relations via the following link (link will go live at approximately 11:30am EST, August 27, 2009):

http://www.smallcapepicenter.com/executive/KSbtpr270809

"We have two goals in the current underground exploration program; first to identify the presence of the lode structure within the prospective horizon, and second to locate any ore-bearing chutes within the structure. The discovery of lode structure this early in the initial phase of exploration is exciting as we are just at the start of our target area," comments Company president Richard Hughes. "This 1.5 km area between the Mammoth and Silvana mines has never been tested before although it was slated for exploration before the mine shut down in the early 1990s as a result of low metal prices. Drilling will now focus on testing the newly discovered structure for the presence of ore-bearing chutes as well as further delineating its extent."

The "Main Lode" structure is more than 8 kilometers long, extending east from Silverton on Slocan Lake to Sandon through the "Silver Ridge" of the Selkirk Mountains some 50 kilometers north of Nelson, B.C.

The Company holds the ground for approximately 1.5 km to the west of this productive zone, to within 0.5 km of the Mammoth Mine. This program represents the first attempt since the early 1990s to explore west towards the Mammoth, Standard and the other major "Main Lode" producers.

The initial phase of diamond drilling was conducted from the new underground west extension of the main access (4625 Level) of the Silvana Mine.

- Four BQ-size holes totaling 363.6 meters (1,193 feet) were drilled at a departure of 9,250.00 feet E. (mine grid). This initial drilling program represents the first stage of exploring a 1.5-kilometer long (7,000 feet) presumed highly prospective segment of the "Main Lode" structure.

- The recently completed drill program achieved an important objective as the structure intersected by the drilling has characteristics typical of the "Main Lode" as mined at Silvana.

- Following this identification, the next 100 meters (330 feet) westerly extension of the main access (4625 Level) is now under way. The next drill station for testing the presence and resource potential of the "Main Lode" will be at approximately 9,500 feet E. (mine grid).

The Silvana Mine is one of 29 former producers staked or acquired by the Company within the Slocan Camp. Other assets include extensive exploration lands and a fully permitted 100-tonne-per-day (TPD) flotation mill.

The Silvana Mine produced approximately 8 million ounces of silver and more than 30,000 tons each of lead and zinc from 550,000 tons of mill-feed mined from a 1.5-kilometer section of the "Main Lode" under Silver Ridge. This section was explored, developed and mined almost continuously from 1970 to 1993 by the Silmonac Syndicate and its successors, including Kam-Kotia Mines Limited, Silvana Mines Inc., Dickenson Mines Limited and Treminco Resources Ltd. Sporadic mining has since been conducted by other companies, including Klondike Silver.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(Aug. 7, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KS) is pleased to announce results of underground diamond drilling from the Fall of 2008 through Spring 2009 from the Wonderful Mine, near Sandon, British Columbia. Underground exploration and development, including a raise and two diamond drill stations, has been undertaken in the lowermost workings, Levels 3 and 4, located half a kilometre from Klondike Silver's 100-tonne-per-day flotation mill in the Sandon townsite.

Two drill stations were developed in the lowest underground workings, Level 4 at 1140m elevation, 100 meters apart, creating setups for two drill arrays. Ten diamond drill holes were completed, targeting mineralization at and above this elevation, for a total of 637m drilled.

These holes tested the extent of mineralization between Level 4 and Level 3, the latter at 1192m elevation. Klondike Silver had mined a new raise by the fall of 2008, from Level 4 up to Level 3, following continuous, if narrow, mineralization along a single, near vertical, E-W striking vein. Widths and grades improved where there were structural distortions and a splaying or stepping vein.

Drilling results demonstrate that the Wonderful vein, in the lower levels, is a nearly straight, vertical E-W planar structure with a typical width of 35cm, and is primary a sphalerite (zinc) - carbonate vein; minor amounts of lead and silver are present. Recent underground mapping, of Levels 3 and 4, show the vein to vary between 20 and 65cm width.

One drillhole, DD09-06, intercepted an interpreted zone of structural distortion where the vein is divided into at least 3 closely-spaced veins, combining for a true width of 2.47m (8.12ft) with average grade of 12 g/T silver, 0.16% lead and 11.16% zinc (see table below).

Holes drilled around DD09-06 found a single vein at the typical 35cm width, but were not able to follow the splaying structure.

A final hole, DD09-10m was drilled steeply upward to test the vein continuity above the Level 3 working. It had been formerly interpreted that the zinc vein, shown in the lower workings, was structurally connected to a lead-silver vein, known as McLander's vein, found on surface (grab values reported as high as 79% lead and silver as high as 197 oz per ton as previously reported), at 1265m elevation. DD09-10 intercepted a major fault, near 1230m elevation - Level 2 and it is possible that this fault separates the zinc resource delineated in the lower workings from McLander's vein.

Continued exploration at the Wonderful will apply this new structural information while focusing on locating fault systems and their relationship to the McLander's vein at surface.

Drilling is currently underway in the Silvana mine and the Company will be providing an update on its progress in the near future. For details on the Silvana drill program see news release dated May 28, 2009.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(July 23, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KS) is pleased to report that it has acquired additional mineral properties in and around the Sandon Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia, including several past-producing mines.

Klondike Silver is the dominant landholder in the Slocan Camp, which has produced more than 70 million ounces of silver plus by-product base metals since the late 1800s. The Company's holdings now encompass 29 former producers, extensive exploration lands and a fully permitted 100-tonne-per-day flotation mill.

The Company acquired the following properties and historic mines from Locke Goldsmith, an internationally experienced mine and mineral exploration geologist credited with several mineral discoveries in the Slocan Mining Camp. Soil geochemistry is now underway or completed on the majority of these properties and results are forthcoming.

- HALLMAC: This former producer (1980-1984) has rail in place and natural ventilation and strong air flow from the adit. Proposed work, including drill-testing, would focus on the projected position of the lode on the 1690 Level.

- VULTURE: Historical mapping and soil sampling suggest that an offset portion of the previously mined lode at this former producer (pre-1900 and 1952) may be present upslope and east of the drift. A second mineralized lode is exposed on an adjacent claim. The lower Vulture adit has not yet been located. A soil sampling program has recently begun and proposed work includes hand-trenching and underground mapping.

- ENTERPRISE: This former producer was worked by various parties to 1972, with production from a "dry" ore silica vein with high silver and low base metals. Sampling in 1980 returned positive results at the face of the 8 Level (lowest adit). Large dumps at several portals were selectively sampled, with results suggesting some fractions contain appreciable mineralization. Further sampling is proposed, along with site work (road clearing, etc.).

- CHAMBERS: One adit and several stopes to surface have been located at this past-producing mine, which operated intermittently to 1984. Proposed work will focus on higher grade, silver-rich areas if the adit portal is open.

- ADAMS LODE: Several adits were developed to explore lodes on the Chicago and Cristein claims. The Adams Lode has been projected by soil geochemistry to continue from Sandon Creek through these claims. A sample of the lode assayed 28.36 oz silver per ton, 52.42% lead and 1.40% zinc. Hand-trenching along the trend of the geochemical anomalies is proposed.

- CONDUCTOR: The Conductor Lode may be a northeastern extension of the formerly productive Alamo Lode. Soil geochemistry and geological mapping have identified three or more lodes and two mineralized breccia zones. Samples from an exposed lode and nearby dumps have returned positive results. More work is planned, including sampling, mapping, hand-trenching, and drilling of the Conductor Lode and possibly other lodes.

- TUFA: This former crown grant has no recorded history, although adits and trenches exist on the property. Results are awaited from recent soil sampling and may be followed by an underground sampling program using existing adits.

- VERNON: This area has no published history, but covers a weak geochemical anomaly that may be tested with further soil sampling.

Klondike Silver's exploration efforts in and around the Sandon Silver Camp are focused on reviving the most promising historic mines near the existing mill and exploring historic and more recently discovered lodes with production potential.

The Company is also pleased to announce that it has completed a private placement announced on June 17, 2009. This private placement consisted of 9,500,000 flow through units at a price of $0.06 per unit. Each unit consisted of one flow-through common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share until July 13, 2011 at $0.10 per share. Any shares issued will be subject to a hold period expiring on November 15, 2009. Barrington Capital Corp. was paid a cash commission totaling $45,600.

The Company also announces an amendment and the closing of a private placement previously announced June 25, 2009. The total number of units is increased from 10,000,000 units to 10,610,000 units. The private placement consisted of 2,310,000 flow through units and 8,300,000 non flow-through units, totaling 10,610,000 units at a price of $0.06 per unit. Each unit consisted of one flow-through common share or non flow-through share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share until July 12, 2011 at $0.10 per share. Any shares issued will be subject to a hold period expiring on November 14, 2009. Union Securities Ltd. and Wolverton Securities Ltd. were paid a cash commission totaling $5,520.

Proceeds of the private placements will primarily be used for exploration programs, property option payments and general working capital.

- 2009 SUMMER EXPLORATION FOCUS ON EXPANDING 2008 DISCOVERIES

- ZINC-RICH ZONES ENHANCE POTENTIAL OF SILVER RIDGE AREA

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(June 25, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the 'Company') is pleased to announce recent exploration programs have discovered new silver-rich prospects while also confirming the potential of targets similar to past-producing mines within the Slocan Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia. Recent exploration in the Silverton Creek Area included testing of the east-west-trending Adams lode, host to the past-producing Canadian and Ivanhoe Mines. Preliminary mapping has focused on the Adams lode where it suddenly transitions southwest, with sampling returning 420 g/t silver, 34.0% zinc and 3.7% lead.

Map of Slocan Silver Camp - http://www.klondikesilver.com/i/pdf/08-07-02-Slocan-3.pdf

SILVERTON CREEK AREA

The Silverton Creek Area, east of the town of Silverton, encompasses the Canadian, Ivanhoe and Wakefield Mines. The Canadian and Ivanhoe Mines are both situated on an east-west trending Adams lode and collectively produced 45,357 tons containing 535,121 ounces silver, 6,043,468 pounds of lead and 766,144 pounds of zinc. The Wakefield Mine produced 8,957 tons containing 193,948 ounces of silver, 2,449,834 pounds of lead and 12,275 pounds of zinc between 1899 and 1929.

Initial exploration near the Wakefield Mine included sampling of the main Wakefield lode, which also revealed the presence of high-grade zinc not reflected in the mine's historic production. A rock sample from this target area returned 36.54% zinc, along with 0.11% lead and 6.0 g/t silver, hosted in a limestone breccia. Material sampled from nearby mine dumps yielded values of 4,038 g/t silver, 49.33% lead and 12.50% zinc.

The Wakefield Mine is situated on the south slope of Silver Ridge below Selkirk Peak with underground workings lying along a north-south trending lode that intersects the prolific Main Lode on the north slope of the ridge. The Main Lode is the primary host for the past-producing Silversmith, Ruth, Richmond-Eureka and Silvana Mines.

Klondike Silver is also conducting an underground exploration program focused on the western extent of the Main Lode hosting the Silvana Mine, the second largest past-producer in the Slocan Silver Camp. The goal is to define resources that can be mined and processed in the Company's fully permitted 100-tonne-per-day flotation mill in the nearby historic town of Sandon. The cash flow generated from test-mining and custom mining would be used to fund ongoing exploration programs.

The Company would also like to announce it has arranged a Private Placement for up to 10,000,000 flow-through or non flow-through units priced at $0.06 per unit, for total proceeds of $600,000. Each unit will consist of either one flow through or one non-flow through common share and one non-flow through, non-transferable share purchase warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share for a period of two years at a price of $0.10 per share. In accordance with Exchange policies, finders' fees may be paid on a portion of the funds raised. The private placement is subject to regulatory approval. The proceeds of the private placement will be used for exploration programs, property option payments and general working capital.

The Company is highly encouraged by the presence of the high-grade zinc within the Silverton Creek project area. Exploration is currently underway to further define the newly discovered zone.

- 2009 SUMMER EXPLORATION TO FOCUS ON EXPANDING 2008 DISCOVERIES

- PERMITS RECEIVED AND TRENCHING PLANNED FOR EARLY JULY

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(June 17, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that recent exploration programs have discovered new silver-rich prospects while also confirming the potential of targets similar to past-producing mines within the Slocan Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia.

The 2008 exploration program focused on testing several project areas that encompass past-producing mines.

Map of Slocan Silver Camp - http://www.klondikesilver.com/i/pdf/...

JACKSON BASIN AREA

The Jackson Basin Area, includes the historic Jackson Mine discovered in 1892. Mining continued until 1955, followed by intermittent operations until 1975.

Trenching is planned to begin in July along with testing those areas of the Jackson Basin believed to potentially host high-grade silver zones. The main objectives of the 2008 exploration program in the Jackson Basin Area was to determine the extent of the main vein to the east of the Jackson Mine. The main lode exploited in the past is believed to extend as far west as the Northern Belle Crown Grant on the northeast side of the Mt. Payne which is also on the property.

Past programs conducted east of the Jackson Mine have generated encouraging results that revealed a thick breccia zone with massive sulphides throughout, cross-cut by quartz veins and hosted in a limestone of the Slocan Group.

About 2.5 meters of the breccia zone is visible in outcrop. Further exploration is required to determine its orientation and true thickness.

- Samples collected directly from the breccia zone returned values of 79 g/t silver, 3.25% lead and 2.16% zinc. A vein crosscutting the breccia zone was also sampled and returned 351 g/t silver, 10.29% lead and 8.1% zinc.

The Company also explored other portions of the Jackson Basin, which revealed potential for high-grade silver zones that may be further tested in future programs.

The Company is also conducting an underground exploration program focused on the western extent of the Main Lode hosting the Silvana Mine, the second largest past-producer in the Slocan Silver Camp.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(June 11, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the 'Company') is pleased to report that its 2009 exploration programs, focusing mainly on testing targets generated last year in the Sandon Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia, has begun.

Klondike Silver is the dominant landholder in the Slocan Camp, which has produced more than 24 million ounces of silver plus by-product base metals since the late 1800s. The land package includes ten historic mines and a 100-tonne-per-day mill.

The Company's 2008 exploration efforts were divided into a regional program focused on five main project areas - Hewitt-Van Roi, Silverton Creek, Jackson Basin, Payne and Mount Con - and surface and underground programs focused on targets and past-producing mines in close proximity to the fully permitted Sandon mill. The 2008 regional programs included soil geochemical surveys covering an area of about 1,400 hectares, several ground geophysical surveys, a contracted prospecting program, geological mapping, ground acquisition and a limited trenching program.

Most of the Company's recent exploration has focused on the Wonderful-Sandon Area, which includes several past-producers in the Slocan camp, notably the Silvana, Ruth Hope and Wonderful mines. This work concentrated on the Wonderful vein system, which was explored by geochemical and geophysical programs followed by diamond drilling and trenching. Underground exploration, drilling and drifting was also conducted to explore underground veins and their potential extensions.

- In 2009, the Wonderful-Sandon Area will be further explored by surface programs including trenching. Additional underground programs are also underway. Systematic geological mapping of creeks and road exposures is a priority for the 2009 season as little modern geological mapping has been done in the Sandon Area. Surface exploration in 2009 will test geochemical targets identified in 2008, notably in the area south of Carpenter Creek.

The Cody Creek Area east of the Wonderful-Sandon Area is a high priority target as it contains several silver-rich occurrences and occurs along strike of the larger past-producers in the Sandon Camp. Work in 2008 included a soil geochemical program that identified silver-lead anomalies, and prospecting that identified old workings.

- In 2009, mapping, ground geophysics and trenching of at least four newly identified silver-lead anomalies are proposed for the Cody Creek Area.

REGIONAL EXPLORATION TARGETS

The 2009 regional exploration program will focus on the best targets identified during the 2008 season in each of the five main discrete areas.

- Hewitt-Van Roi: This area includes the past-producing Hewitt and Van Roi Mines, which produced about 400,000 tonnes averaging 300.5 g/t silver and 2.8% lead (Van Roi) and 529 g/t silver and 1.5% lead (Hewitt). Soil geochemical programs identified several coincident silver and lead anomalies that may define an unexplored portion of the Hewitt-Van Roi vein systems. A gold anomaly and separate zinc and lead anomalies were also discovered. In 2009, a ground geophysical program is proposed to better define the central silver-lead anomaly west of the Hewitt Mine. Permits to trench the separate silver, zinc and lead anomalies have been submitted for approval.

- Silverton Creek: Past exploration of this rugged area south of the Sandon camp focused mainly on the ridges and testing along strike of occurrences and past-producers (Ivanhoe, Canadian, Wakefield and Adams Lode). The 2008 program in this area was limited to the ridge and north slopes. Further mapping and prospecting are proposed for the southern part of the area, on the southern slopes of Selkirk Ridge, along with a soil program on the north slopes of this ridge to test for mineralization between known vein systems.

- Jackson Basin: This area includes the past-producing Jackson Mine, the largest producer on the property, the Stenson area and several high-grade veins located to the west. The 2008 program successfully identified a high-grade silver-lead-zinc vein near the main Jackson portal, several small vein occurrences just west of the mine workings and along a prominent silver-lead soil anomaly and a large silver anomaly 600 meters north of the Jackson Mine workings. Further work including trenching is planned for the 2009 season.

- Payne Mountain: This area encompasses several past-producing deposits, including Payne (110,605 tonnes averaging 1,058 g/t silver and 15.7% lead). The 2008 program generated several new prospects, including the Ridge anomaly, that warrant further evaluation through mapping and prospecting, ground geophysical surveys, trenching and geochemical soil surveys.

- Mount Con: Located 5 km east of Sandon, this area has few-past producing mines. Prospecting and soil geochemistry in 2008 focused on rediscovering two historic showings, Utica-Noonday and Silver Apex. Zinc mineralization on trend with Utica Noonday was discovered by prospecting in 2008, along with small exploration pits and shallow adits northeast of the discovery. Further ground work is planned for this season, including mapping and prospecting.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(June 3, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that a program of underground rehabilitation and subsequent test-mining is under way on the 4755 Level of the Silvana Mine in the historic Sandon Silver Camp of south-central British Columbia.

The Company is the largest landholder in the Slocan Camp, which has produced more than 24 million ounces of silver plus by-product base metals since the late 1800s. The land package includes ten historic mines and a fully permitted 100-tonne-per-day mill.

At the Silvana Mine, Company personnel have identified several small but potentially economically mineable areas beyond the limits of productive former stopes developed in the early 1970s. These areas lie roughly 100 feet (30 metres) or more in elevation above the main 4625 Level adit access. Detailed re-examination of historic records, including assays from diamond drill holes and chip/channel samples, show the possibility of mineralized areas amenable to small-scale mining using best-practice grade control to achieve desired economic returns.

The work program now under way includes replacing a timbered ore-chute on 4625 Level at the base of the gravity muck pass from 4755 Level, rehabilitating the skipway and manway between the two levels, re-establishing compressed air, water and electrical services and bringing mining equipment up to 4755 Level.

Initial test-mining will be by sub-drifting in the Main Lode structure towards the identified areas of interest. Channel and muck sampling will be carried out to identify the best sections for stoping. The muck from the development will be evaluated and stockpiled as appropriate.

The mill run of economic-grade material from test-mining at Silvana will follow the completion of processing of millfeed from the Company's Stump Property (Yukon Territory).

The Main Lode structure - the principal source of the Slocan Camp's silver-lead-zinc production - is more than 5 miles (8 km) long, extending from Silverton on Slocan Lake in the west to Sandon in the east through the 'Silver Ridge' of the Selkirk Mountains, 30 miles (50 km) north of Nelson, BC.

The Silvana production was from a length of less than one mile (1.5 km) of the Main Lode under Silver Ridge, westerly from the Silversmith Mine, a former major producer near Sandon. The Company holds approximately 1.5 km of the ground to the west of this productive zone, to within a quarter of a mile (0.5 km) of the Mammoth Mine.

About 1.5 million tons of ore was locally processed or direct-shipped from these historic operations. Total recovered production to 1964 from the western segment was 9.5 million ounces of silver, 45,000 tons of lead and 60,000 tons of zinc. The eastern segment yielded approximately 9 million ounces of silver, 43,000 tons of lead and 13,000 tons of zinc. The eastern segment was the first area developed and mined, and as a result less zinc was recovered from processing, likely because the metal was less sought after or was difficult to recover using technology available at the time.

Almost all of this recovered production came from a zone within the Main Lode lying roughly between 4,000 feet (1,200 m) and 5,500 feet (1,700 m) elevation. The central unexplored portion of this prospective deep zone passes for 2.5 miles (4 km) beneath the 5,000 (1,500 m) to nearly 8,000 feet (2,400 m) approximate elevations of steep-sided Silver Ridge. This area received initial underground exploration westerly from the Silversmith Mine area in the late 1940s by the Kelowna Exploration Company using a program of lateral drift mining and diamond drilling.

A similar but extensive program was conducted westwards from the Kelowna work by the "Silmonac Syndicate" in late 1962. The Syndicate's persistence was rewarded in 1967 with the discovery from underground diamond drilling of a silver-lead-zinc mineralized section of the Main Lode (not recognized definitively as such at the time).

This section was explored, developed and mined by Silmonac's successors, including Kam-Kotia Mines Limited, Silvana Mines Inc., Dickenson Mines Limited and Treminco Resources Ltd. almost continuously from 1970 to 1993, and now by Klondike Silver. Production to date is about 8 million ounces of silver and over 30,000 tons each of lead and zinc from some 550,000 tons of mill feed, representing 30% of the area's silver and 25% of its lead production. This makes the Silmonac/ Silvana operation the second largest single producer of silver and lead in the Slocan camp after the Standard Mine. It should be noted that the silver-to-lead ratio from Silvana production was higher than production from the Standard Mine, an enhancement that improves the potential economics of Silvana's typical mill feed.

The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Edward Craft, P.Eng., is designated as the qualified person who reviewed and approved the contents of this press release.

[Press Release] Drilling Commences on Highly Prospective Segment of the 'Main Lode' Structure

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA-(May 28, 2009) - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:KS) (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that diamond drilling has started from their new underground west extension of the main access '4625 Level' of the Silvana mine. This is the first stage of exploration on a 7,000 foot (1.5 km) long presumed highly prospective segment of the productive and historic 'Main Lode' structure which is the principal source of the Slocan mining camp's silver/lead/zinc production.

The Main Lode is over 5 miles (8 km) long, extending from Silverton on Slocan Lake in the west to Sandon in the east through the 'Silver Ridge' of the Selkirk mountains some 30 miles (50 km) north of Nelson, BC.

The Silvana production (see below) arose from a length of just less than one mile (1.5 km) of the Main Lode under Silver Ridge, westerly from the Silversmith mine, a former major producer near Sandon. The Company holds approximately 1.5 km of the ground to the west of this productive zone, to within a quarter of a mile (0.5 km.) of the Mammoth mine. By way of drifting and current drilling the Company is testing the first 0.2 km of the 1.5 km gap in exploration of the Main Lode at an elevation of 4,600 to 5,000 feet (1,400 to 1,500 meters). This programme represents the first attempt since the early 1990's to step out westerly towards the Mammoth and the other major Main Lode producers towards Silverton.

Mineralized surface outcroppings discovered in the 1890's led to the start of production from this structure in its distal segments. The westerly segment hosted (from W to E) the Standard mine which is the largest producer of Ag and Pb in the camp, and the Hecla, Monarch and Mammoth deposits, over a distance of some 2 miles (3.2 km). The easternmost segment of over a mile (2 km) hosted (from W to E) the Hope, Silversmith, Slocan Star and Richmond-Eureka deposits.

About 1.5 million tons of ore were locally processed or direct-shipped from these operations. Aggregate recovered production to 1964 from the west segment was 9.5 million ounces of silver, 45,000 tons of lead and 60,000 tons of zinc. The easterly segment yielded approximately 9 million ounces of silver, 43,000 tons of lead and 13,000 tons of zinc. (The disparity between zinc tons recovered from east and west Main Lode mine groups is from the earlier-developed eastern group having recovered a much smaller percentage of zinc in processing or by avoiding 'zincy' material when the metal was less sought after or difficult to recover using the technology available at the time.)

Almost all of this production arose from a zone within the Main Lode lying between roughly 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) and 5,500 feet (1,700 meters) elevation. The central unexplored portion of this prospective deep zone passes for 2.5 miles (4 km) beneath the 5,000 (1,500 meters) to nearly 8,000 feet (2,400 meters) approximate elevations of steep-sided Silver Ridge. It received initial underground exploration westerly from the Silversmith mine area by the Kelowna Exploration Company in the late 1940's using a programme of lateral drift mining and diamond-drilling.

A similar but extensive programme was started in late 1962 westwards from the Kelowna work by the "Silmonac Syndicate". Their persistence was rewarded in 1967 with the discovery from underground via diamond drilling of a Ag/Pb/Zn mineralized section of the Main Lode (not recognized definitively as such at the time). That section was explored, developed and mined from by Silmonac's successors including Kam-Kotia Mines Limited, Silvana Mines Inc., Dickenson Mines Limited and Treminco Resources Ltd. almost continuously from 1970 to 1993, and now by Klondike Silver.

Production to date is about 8 million ounces of Ag and over 30,000 tons each of Pb and Zn from some 550,000 tons of mill feed, representing 30% of the area silver and 25% of its lead production. This makes the Silmonac/Silvana operation easily the second largest single producer of silver and lead in the Slocan camp after the Standard Mine. Noteworthy is that the silver-ounces-to-lead-percent ratio from the Silvana production has been higher than that from the Standard mine production, an enhancement that improves the economics of Silvana's typical mill feed.

VANCOUVER, BC – April -3, 2009 - Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX.V: KS) is pleased to announce that recent work carried out by Espiritu project operator Kootenay Gold (TSX-V: KTN) has confirmed the project is host to an extensive area of polymetallic vein, stockwork, breccia and copper-gold porphyry mineralization. Mineralization and alterations are hosted along a 5 km east northeast trending structure that measures between 1 to 2 kilometres in width. The Espiritu project is located approximately 150 km east of Hermosillo, in Sonora State, Mexico.

Dr. Tom Richards, VP of Exploration for Kootenay commented, “The silver-gold enriched veins occurring within and adjacent to the copper-gold porphyry style mineralization provide a setting where the porphyry mineralization may be significantly enriched by the precious metal vein system. The potential for precious metal enrichment would significantly enhance the economic potential of the Espiritu”.

Two zones of mineralization have been identified; the northeast zone dominated by a porphyry setting is separated by a major fault from the southwest zone dominated by polymetallic veins and stockworks of precious and base metal mineralization. The two zones appear to be genetically related and the polymetallic vein/stockwork systems represent mineralized systems that would be expected to overlie the porphyry setting.

The current prospector sampling and mapping work is of a reconnaissance nature and has served to define the mineralized settings. Two hundred and sixty-one samples have been collected, with 169 from the northwest porphyry setting.

Northeast Zone

The northeast Espiritu porphyry prospect is a 2.2 km x 1.4 km sub-circular area defined by a concentric pattern of zonation diagnostic of copper gold porphyry deposits. The different zones are strong propylite, argillic, sericitic and potassic (biotite) alteration hosted in a biotite, feldspar quartz porphyry. A leach-cap zone is coincident with the Extensive leaching of the argillic and sericite alteration zones has resulted in the development of a leach-cap zone marked by the limonites goethite, jarosite and hematite with local presence of the secondary copper minerals turquoise and chrysocolla.

In the biotite zone of alteration, 19 grab samples from the disseminated and fracture mineralization showed good values of copper averaging 0.24% and gold averaging 0.239 gpt. In the argillic/sericitic zone of alteration or leach-cap zone, the average copper content shows values of 0.034%, consistent with the general average copper values within the leach-cap zones that sit on top of known porphyry deposits of the southwest USA and northwest Mexico (for example Asarco’s Silver Bell Mine and Grupo Mexico’s; Cananea and La Caridad Mines). The polymetallic veins within the porphyry setting show anomalous values in gold (to a high of 3.60 gpt) and silver (to a high of 462gpt). All samples are grab samples.

Southwest Zone

The southwestern part of the system is represented by veins, breccias and stockworks anomalous in gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc.

At present, the main mineralization in the southwest is defined by several zones spread out along a 2 km length. These are named the west, central and east polymetallic zones. Anomalous mineralization has been recognized in two other separate zones: the PS-1 zone about 2 km to the northwest and the PS-2 zone about 500 metres to the east.

Two stages of mineralization are noted; one stage marked by mainly quartz veins low in all metal values and a second stage marked by veins, breccias and stockworks of polymetallic gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc mineralization.

A total of 58 grab samples were collected within the west, central and eastern parts of the southwest polymetallic zone. The polymetallic veins averaged 226 gpt silver, 1.58% lead and 1.57% zinc associated with 0.18 gpt gold and 0.15% copper. From the 35 samples collected from the polymetallic zone, 18 of 35 were greater than 0.100 gpt gold and 29 of 35 were greater than 30 gpt silver.

The PS-1 area reported values of 0.84, 0.50 and 0.46 gpt gold and 277 and 217 gpt silver associated with anomalous lead to 6% and zinc to 1.5%. The PS-2 zone reported silver values of 686, 644 and 487 gpt and anomalous copper, lead and zinc from 13 samples has been noted. Anomalous values of molybdenum to 0.129%) were noted from this area.

The Espiritu project is under option to Klondike Silver Corp. who have the right to earn a 50% interest in the project from Kootenay Gold Inc. by making certain payments and exploration expenditures (see news Kootenay Gold Inc. release March 31, 2008).

Sampling and Assaying (QA/QC)

All samples were placed and sealed with tape into a plastic rock sample bag. Each sample was labeled and catalogued and delivered to ALS Chemex’s preparation laboratory in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico where pulps are made of each sample which were then sent to the ALS Chemex laboratory in North Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Each sample was analyzed with a multi acid digestion ICP AES (Plasma Emission Spectroscopy). Samples with precious grades exceeding the upper detection limit of the ICP AES are analyzed again using fire assay methods with either atomic absorption, emission spectroscopy or gravimetric finishes for gold and silver. Base metals exceeding upper limits are reanalyzed using a four acid ore grade analysis. All samples referred to herein are grab samples. ALS Chemex is an internationally recognized independent laboratory operating to ISO 17025 quality assurance standards.

Since September, I have heard some of the most respected analysts, traders and execs in the industry rattle on about silver shedding its industrial metal mantle and taking on the shine of a safe haven asset in the face of deepening worldwide recession. All the while, silver took hit after hit as every hedge fund in town began dumping its commodities holdings, precious metals included.

While 2008 ended on a sour note for silver, it seems the bullish silver buffs may be proven right in 2009. In hindsight, it appears the silver price reached its bottom back in October dropping below $9/oz and has been steadily climbing out since the new year began. Monday morning, the sometimes industrial sometimes precious metal was flirting with a high of $12.59/oz.

Both silver and gold have benefitted from the safe-have buying spree that has erupted in a climate plagued by rising job losses, failing financial institutions, tightening credit, collapsing housing markets, and depressing economic reports. As the bankruptcies, bailouts and bad news mount investors are finding it harder and harder to see any sign of light at the end of the tunnel, and many are choosing to store their wealth in the precious metals both on the paper market and in bullion as well.

And with more bad news expected out of Washington this week silver’s price hike is sure to continue. The word’s already out that the Dems and Reps on Capitol Hill can’t seem to agree enough to place a stamp of approval on the new financial rescue package that was due out this week and have now pushed back its unveiling to next week.

This week, reports are due out on the state of consumer spending, employment, retail sales, and the manufacturing and housing sector. January’s employment report is due on Friday and is expected to cause the most pain as at least half a million Americans are believed to have lost their jobs last month.

The recession that’s gripping economies all over the world isn’t likely to turnaround this year, which spells good news for precious metals prices. In fact, analysts like John Hathaway, Tocqueville Gold Focus Fund Senior Managing Director, believe 2009 may prove a better year for gold and silver than 2008.

When asked for his 2009 forecast, Hathaway said he believes “both gold and silver will rise to new highs in the coming year” reaching in excess of $1,000/oz and $20/oz respectively. He advised investors “that in today’s uncharted macroeconomic waters, some exposure to the precious metals sector makes a lot of sense.”

Silver’s fundamentals will improve as base metal mining operations around the world shut down in reaction to falling demand. “There are very few pure silver companies,” he pointed out. Around 70 percent of silver comes to market as a by-product of base metal production; consequently, we’re likely to see a slump in silver supply along with increasing demand as the worldwide financial situation worsens, which will prove “positive for the silver price,” said Cook.

Vancouver, BC: Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX-V:KS) is pleased to announce assays of chip samples taken from the lower levels of the Wonderful Mine located in the midst of the Slocan Silver Camp at Sandon, BC.

Twelve sample sections were taken along the length of a raise (connecting shaft between two levels) driven from the lowest Level-4 (1144m elevation) up to Level-3 (1192m elevation). The raise follows a mineralized vein on the Wonderful system across all lithologies for a length of 54.5m at 49° and connects with the mineralization on Level-3. The raise confirms connectivity of 53m of the mineralized vein on Level-4 with 152m of vein mapped 48m higher on Level-3. Eighteen sample sections were taken from level 3 with both the raise and Level-3 geology showing the same trend.

The completed raise is the first of two required between each level. Rehabilitation of the underground workings of Level-4 was completed in late 2007 with raise development and the rehabilitation of Level-3 completed summer 2008.

Mapping and chip sampling of the raise and rehabilitated Level-3 were completed in September 2008. Results of all 30 samples are shown in the accompanying tables. The vein seats in a granite intrusive to the west and at depth and enters argillite on rising and eastward.

The mineralization of Level 3 is projected to be the underground extension of the McLanders vein discovered in quartzite on surface late in 2004 and explored for 80m on strike in 2005. Silver-rich galena was discovered with a 40cm vein assaying 3849.87 grams/tonne (135.8 oz/ton silver), 70.9% lead and 2.17% zinc,. A 25cm sample assaying 5601.87 grams/tonne (197.6 oz/ton), 79.9% lead and 0.80% zinc. (See August 2, 2006 and June 24, 2008 News Releases)

Future Development Plans

A recently completed drill station on Level 4 will enable testing of the eastern extent of mineralization between levels 4 and 3 and the delineation of mineable resources. Further development will include a second raise from Level 4 to Level 3, following mineralization wherever possible. A third raise above Level-3 tracing the vein to Level-2 (40.5m above L3) will be developed as a possible connection to the McLanders vein (74m above L3).

Company president, Mr. Richard Hughes, is pleased with the results of the work completed to date and the development plan that has been put into place for the Wonderful mine.
