Evolving Gold Intersects 36.6 meters at 4.11 gpt Au included in 175.3 Meters of 1.86 gpt Gold at Rattlesnake Hills

VANCOUVER, Oct. 21, 2009 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (DE:EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that drilling at its Rattlesnake Hills project continues to intersect long intervals of gold mineralization including intervals of higher grades.

Significant intersections include 175.3 meters at 1.86 gpt Au (575 feet at 0.054 opt Au) including 36.6 meters at 4.11 gpt Au (120 feet at 0.120 opt Au) in drill hole RSC-039 and 141.7 meters at 1.56 gpt Au (465 feet at 0.046 opt Au) including 7.6 meters at 16.41 gpt Au (25 feet at 0.479 opt Au) in drill hole RSC-041.

President and Chief Geologist, Dr. Quinton Hennigh states, "Drilling continues to support continuity of gold mineralization along the south side of North Stock. The strike length of the higher grade zone currently extends about 240 m and is open to the northeast. RSC-039 indicates that it can start less than 15 meters below surface and RSC-046 indicates it continues to a depth of approximately 300 m. The higher grade zone appears to be approximately 65 m wide where it is hosted in the diatreme breccia, widening to about 90 m at drill hole RSC-039."

Rattlesnake Hills is similar in geology to the Cripple Creek district in Colorado, where Anglo Ashanti currently produces approximately 275,000 ounces of gold annually in an open pit, heap leach operation with a recovered grade of 0.49 grams per tonne. More than 20 million ounces of gold has been produced from the Cripple Creek complex.

North Stock Target

-The broad interval of gold mineralization in hole RSC-039, 175.3 meters at 1.86 gpt Au (575 feet at 0.054 opt Au) including 36.6 meters at 4.11 gpt Au (120 feet at 0.120 opt Au), continues to demonstrate continuity of gold mineralization along the southern boundary of the North Stock diatreme complex. RSC-039 is located 80 meters northeast of RSC-020 (67.1 meters at 10.8 gpt Au) and 130 meters southwest of RSC-003 (146.3 meters at 2.92 gpt Au).

-Drill hole RSC-041 intersected 141.7 meters at 1.56 gpt Au (465 feet at 0.046 opt Au) including 7.6 meters at 16.41 gpt Au (25 feet at 0.479 opt Au). This hole intersects the southern boundary of the North Stock diatreme complex slightly above the interpreted highest grade portion of the contact zone mineralization.

-Drill hole RSC-046 intersected the mineralized diatreme contact approximately 180 meters vertically below drill hole RSC-020 and intersected 39.6 meters at 1.52 gpt Au (130 feet at 0.044 opt Au), including 3.0 meters at 13.23 gpt Au (10 feet at 0.386 opt Au). Alteration and mineralization is related in part to an intermediate porphyry similar to that encountered to the east in drill hole RSC-027. There is growing evidence of the importance of this porphyry in the development of gold mineralization at Rattlesnake Hills.

Drill holes RSC-033 and 037 targeted shallower levels of the North Stock target, largely above the upper portion of the higher grade gold mineralization in the vicinity of drill hole RSC-003. Drill hole RSC-036 appears to have intersected a late stage diatreme breccia or fault offset.

Dr. Hennigh comments, "Continuing development of evidence linking gold mineralization at North Stock to an intermediate porphyry, coupled with results previously reported for RSC-027, opens up exploration potential for a major, untested mineralized porphyry target at depth. This will likely be a significant focus of our continued exploration at Rattlesnake Hills."

Antelope Basin Target

-Drill hole RSC-038 intersected several long intervals of gold mineralization, such as 61.0 meters at 0.62 gpt Au (200 feet at 0.018 opt Au) in schist northwest of the diorite intrusion which hosts much of the Antelope Basin gold mineralization.

-Drill hole RSC-035 was lost due to open space caving. Prior to being lost it intersected 30.8 meters at 0.83 gpt Au (101 feet at 0.024 opt Au), starting at 13.7 meters (45 feet) down hole.

Drilling indicates that the Antelope Basin gold mineralization is not restricted to the diorite intrusion. The Antelope Basin mineralization is extensively oxidized. The character of the mineralization and alteration is similar to that at North Stock, suggesting a genetic link between the two. Mineralization appears to extend to the northeast, toward a known concentration of mineralized porphyry, and to the southwest toward a drill hole completed by ACNC (Inco) in the 1980's which contained reported anomalous gold values.

Gold assays were completed by SGS Canada Inc. in Toronto, using a 30 gram charge, fire assay, with an ICP finish. For over limit assay results, initial assays in excess of 10.0 gpt Au, a gravimetric finish is utilized. The Company will undertake a program of metallic screen fire assays, particularly of the higher grade intervals.

General Update for Rattlesnake Hills

The Company has made major progress in defining the potential and continuity of the high grade and bulk tonnage targets at North Stock and Antelope Basin during the 2009 drill program. It has also identified a gold minerralized porphyry target southeast of North Stock, which is an important exploration target for 2010. Assays from
approximately 51 drill holes remain to be reported.

Two track mounted core rigs will continue to operate at the Rattlesnake Hills project until approximately the end of October, when freezing weather and snow conditions mandate a termination of drilling due to logistical difficulties and safety concerns. The Company expects to complete hole number 93 on the property by the end of October.

Preliminary metallurgical studies indicate that floatation should produce a bulk sulfide concentrate that includes a high percentage of the gold. The Company plans to undertake an extensive program of cyanide leach gold assays to characterize the metallurgical nature of the mineralization at Rattlesnake. A program of leach testing on the oxide portion of the mineralization at North Stock and Antelope Basin will also be initiated, along with additional test work on the sulfide mineralization.

As part of an overall program of advancing the baseline studies for permitting development, archeological surveys have been expanded in 2009, and wildlife surveys are ongoing through the year. A thorough biological survey of plant species is planned for Spring and early Summer in 2010. Regulatory authorities have permitted the removal of an unoccupied eagle's nest on the access road, with the preparation of an alternative nesting site nearby that will not be disturbed by traffic accessing the drill site.

The Company plans to complete an updated NI 43-101 in the second quarter of 2010 addressing size, grade, metallurgy and economics of the Rattlesnake Hills project.

It has come to the attention of the Company that an assay conversion from grams per tonne to ounces per ton (opt) in the September 14, 2009 news release was incorrect. In the reported assays for RSC-027, the interval of 160.0-170.7 meters, at 3.87 gpt Au, should have been shown as 0.113 opt instead of 0.088 opt as previously reported.

Carlin Drilling

At the Carlin, Nevada property, two additional core holes (CAR-003 and CAR-004) have been completed subsequent to the completion of hole CAR-002 reported on September 10, 2009. These holes are drilled to depths of 1,130.2 meters and 1,030.2 meters (3,700 feet and 3,379 feet) and have intersected the interpreted Webb Formation which hosted the upper interval of gold mineralization intersected in drill hole CAR-002. One core rig is drilling at Carlin and will complete a fourth hole (CAR-007). CAR-007 is currently at a depth of 771.3 meters (2,530 feet) and will test the full sedimentary column that was tested in CAR-002, including the unit that hosted the lower intersection of gold mineralization in that drill hole. Assays are pending for CAR-003 and CAR-004 and will likely not be available for at least a month.

Kiyuk Gold Property:

The Company reports that a proposed joint venture on the Kiyuk property has been cancelled, and that the Company controls 100 percent of the property through an agreement with the underlying owner. Earlier this month, Ridgemont Capital Corp. indicated to the Company that it would not proceed with a proposal to acquire by joint venture a 70 percent interest in the Kiyuk Gold Property.

"Kiyuk is an exciting exploration property in southern Nunavut with alteration and anomalous gold in rock samples, commonly to levels of 3-5 gpt Au extending over a strike length of 18 kilometers." says Evolving Gold CEO, Dr. Robert Barker. "We have completed additional sampling, expanded the size of known prospects, and completed geophysical surveys to better define drill targets. This is large gold system that fits EVG's exploration expertise."

"Rattlesnake Hills continues to be our primary focus and we will carefully examine all our options for pursuing an exploration program on this property to optimize both our human resources and our cash."

About Evolving Gold Corp.

VANCOUVER, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE: EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that drilling in the southeast portion of the North Stock has indicated a new zone of gold mineralization at depth. The mineralization occurs in association with porphyries of a type not previously seen in this system of alkalic intrusions and diatremes.

Drilling at Antelope Basin has confirmed the zone of gold mineralization identified in earlier drilling. (See news release 8/10/09.)

The drill results at both North Stock and Antelope Basin indicate new exploration potential for the discovery of additional gold mineralization.

Five diamond drills are now operating at Rattlesnake Hills. Forty-six core holes have been completed in the 2009 drill program with five additional in progress. Expectations are that a total of approximately sixty drill holes will be completed this year for a total of approximately 27,000 meters. Currently nine drill holes have been received by the lab and are awaiting assays.

Five drill holes have intersected projections of the high grade zone reported in holes RSC-003, RSC-007, and RSC-020. Assays are still pending on these intersections. For a complete summary of drilling progress, please clickhttp://evolvinggold.com/investors/drill-update-2009/.

    <<
North Stock Target

- Near the bottom of drill hole RSC-027 a new style of mineralization
associated with intermediate porphyry and stockwork veining was
encountered well outside the margin of the diatreme. Intersections
included 30.5 meters 1.89 gpt gold (100 ft at 0.055opt Au), including
7.6 meters at 3.75 gpt gold (25 ft at 0.109 opt Au), and 35.1 meters
at 1.74 gpt gold (115 ft at 0.051 opt Au).
- Nearer surface, drill hole RSC-027 also intersected 135.6 meters at
0.89 gpt Au (445 ft at 0.026 opt Au).
- Drill hole RSC-028 intersected 59.5 meters at 0.85 gpt Au (195 ft at
0.025 opt Au) starting at 33.5 meters (110 ft) from surface.
>>

"The gold values encountered deep in hole RSC-027 represent a significant exploration discovery in this year's program at Rattlesnake Hills," statesQuinton Hennigh , President and Chief Geologist. "This hole intersected numerous intervals of intrusive porphyry with associated stockwork veining unlike anything we had seen previously. This suggests the possibility that a focus of mineralization may lie to the southeast, completely outside of the diatreme itself and further exploration may show that stockwork system is the connecting link between North Stock and Antelope Basin."

"Hole RSC-042 confirms that the Antelope Basin target has significant size potential and also potential for higher grade mineralization as was previously indicated in hole RSC-019," Dr Hennigh continues. "The results in RSC-042 emphasize the importance of the diorite intrusion, which appears to be a major control on gold mineralization in this target area at Antelope Basin."

South Stock

Drill holes RSC-031 and 032 were drilled in and near South Stock. They intersected low level gold values, with some higher grade but narrow intervals. These holes indicate relatively low potential for the South Stock area and there are currently no plans for additional drilling in the South Stock area.

[Press Release] Evolving Gold Intersects Gold at Carlin Property in Nevada

VANCOUVER, Sept. 10 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE: EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to report that assay results have confirmed the presence of gold at its Carlin, Nevada property. The more significant gold intersections include 35.1 meters at 1.21 gpt gold (115 ft. at 0.035 oz/ton), and 22.8 meters at 1.11 gpt gold (75 ft. at 0.032 oz/ton). The highest gold value was a 1.5 meter (5.0 ft) interval with a grade of 11.9 gpt gold (0.35 oz/ton). The property is located on the Carlin Gold Trend, 11.5 kilometers (7.1 miles) northwest of the Rain deposit and 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) southeast of the Gold Quarry deposit.

As previously reported, drill hole CAR-002 intersected altered and mineralized rock units, interpreted as highly favorable Lower Plate formations (Webb, Rodeo Creek, and Popovich). Visible iron, arsenic and antimony sulfides were also reported.

The drill hole was terminated at 1,519 meters (4,983 ft.) in breccia with dark gray to black carbon and pyrite veinlets. Assays are still pending for the bottom 70.1 meters (230 ft.) of the drill hole. The Carlin property is one of four properties that are included in an agreement with subsidiary companies of Newmont Mining Corporation.

"We consider these results to be a major success for the first drill hole on this property. It is extremely encouraging to see the combination of significant intervals of highly anomalous gold values in Lower Plate formations, coupled with a very strong trace element signature," comments Quinton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist. "We interpret these results as demonstrating strong exploration potential for a well mineralized gold system in this part of the Carlin Trend. We currently have two drill rigs working on the property to continue to test the potential of this gold mineralization."

Investment strategist John Licata reckons gold remains one of the best asset plays in the world. With recovery on the horizon, silver is also seen as a good investment - in part because a pickup in manufacturing will drive up demand. While it may be premature to claim economic recovery, copper is not seen as serving as the traditional harbinger of a return from recession this time. The rationale? Good economic news-while too inconsistent to make recovery imminent-is already baked in to copper's climb this year.

[Press Release] Evolving Gold Drilling Update on Rattlesnake Hills

Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (DE:EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to report that drilling of the Antelope Basin target at its Rattlesnake Hills Property has expanded the potential of both the size and grade of the Antelope Basin target. Drilling at North Stock continues to confirm high gold grades within a large zone of bulk tonnage style halo gold mineralization.

"Drilling at Rattlesnake continues to define the large scale, bulk tonnage gold target, and also continues to identify high gold grades within the larger target. At Antelope Basin we are seeing the first indications of late stage, higher grade gold mineralization, similar to that encountered at North Stock. The mineralization starts at surface and is strongly oxidized to about 150 meters. These results indicate significant exploration potential at Antelope Basin, perhaps as much as at North Stock." comments Quinton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist.

"Most of the holes RSC-21 to RSC-33 are within the bulk mineralization at North Stock and Antelope Basin. We have only recently begun completing holes that off-set the high grade zone announced last month. Those results will be available by early September," continues Hennigh. "The high grade zone is a 'blind' discovery that terminates before reaching surface. We are only just beginning to come to grips with its place in the system."

To date in the 2009 program, the Company has completed 24 drill holes totaling 9,376 meters (30,762 ft), with 4 more in progress. Core from all or part of 7 holes are at the lab with assays pending. Assay results will be released in groups as they are received. A map of the drill holes at Antelope Basin and North Stock, including a drilling update is available at http://evolvinggold.com/rattlesnake-hills.php.

Drilling in 2009 is designed to expand and confirm the body of bulk tonnage style mineralization, and the high grade zones within it which was reported at the end of 2008 drilling. The 2008 drilling defined a body which measured approximately 450 meters long, 200 meters wide, and 550 meters deep. The 2009 drilling is also designed to better define the mineralization at Antelope Basin, up to 750 meters to the south of North Stock, and explore the potential connection between the two zones of mineralization. Highlights from the current results include:

Antelope Basin Target

- Drill hole RSC-019: 163.1 meters at 1.24 gpt Au (535 ft at 0.036 opt),
including 50.2 meters at 2.71 gpt Au (165 ft at 0.079 opt) and which
includes 22.9 meters at 4.15 gpt Au (75 ft at 0.121 opt).
Mineralization in RSC-019 starts at the surface and is visually
oxidized to at least 150 meters in depth.

- Drill hole RSC-019 confirms the presence of high grades in this target
area. The *aggregate thickness of all significant intersections in
RSC-019, 274.3 meters at 0.99 gpt Au (900 ft at 0.029 opt) confirms
potential for a wide zone of bulk tonnage style mineralization
approximately 750 meters south of the North Stock. Additional drilling
is needed to define the geometry and size potential of this target in
Antelope Basin.

- The Antelope Basin target remains open with additional drilling
planned to test its potential to the south-southwest and northward
towards the North Stock target.

North Stock Target

- Drill hole RSC-026 intersected 79.3 meters at 1.76 gpt Au (260 ft at
0.051 opt), including 22.8 meters at 4.78 gpt Au (75 ft at 0.139 opt)
which includes a single 1.5 meter interval at 43.5 gpt Au (5 ft at
1.27 opt) that significantly influences the grades of the longer
reported intersections.

- Drill hole RSC-022 intersected 128.0 meters at 1.23 gpt Au (420 ft at
0.036 opt), including 13.8 meters at 2.55 gpt Au (45 ft at 0.074 opt)
which includes 3.0 meters at 6.03 gpt Au (10 ft at 0.176 opt)

- Drilling at North Stock continues to confirm a large zone of bulk
tonnage style gold mineralization as previously reported at the end of
the 2008 drill program. Results from drill hole RSC-020 were
previously reported, in a news release dated July 13, 2009.

South Stock Target

Drill holes RSC-023 and RSC-025 were drilled into the South Stock target.
These drill holes failed to intersect a major stock, intersecting only small
intrusive dikes. Low levels of gold were encountered in these drill holes,
indicating that the main trend of gold mineralization does not include the
immediate area of the South Stock. The long gold intersection in drill hole
RSC-019 in Antelope Basin suggests the possibility that the main zone of gold
mineralization may trend somewhat to the west of South Stock.
<br
*Explanation of Aggregate Thickness Measurements

The aggregate thicknesses listed in the above table are not continuous intervals. This number is provided to give an indication of the total thickness of gold mineralization intersected in the drill hole using a nominal cutoff of 0.25 gpt Au. This aggregate thickness number is provided for convenience only. It is not an indication of continuity or minability of mineralization. For each drill hole it is a simple summation of the thickness of each primary interval reported in the table, with a weighted average grade for the combined intervals. The material between these reported intervals has an overall average grade below cutoff.

Carlin Project

In its news release (7/31/09) the Company reported that drilling at the Carlin property has intersected visually identified alteration and sulfides in highly host rocks similar to those that host major zones of gold mineralization in the gold deposits in the Carlin Trend. The Company plans to drill wedge holes from the current drill hole, and has started a second drill hole on the property. Assays from the Carlin drilling are still pending and are expected within several weeks. The Carlin property is included as part of an agreement with subsidiary companies of Newmont Mining Corporation.

VANCOUVER, July 31 /CNW/ - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG.V) (FSE: EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to report on drilling progress at its Rattlesnake Hills property in Wyoming and its Carlin property in the prolific Carlin Trend in Nevada.

Rattlesnake Hills

20 core drill holes have been completed in the present season's drill program at Rattlesnake Hills, and a further 4 drill holes are currently underway. The company expects to release additional assay results from the Rattlesnake Hills drilling in the next weeks once results are received and interpreted.

The fourth core rig is now drilling on the Rattlesnake Hills property as part of the ongoing exploration program to define the extent of the high grade gold zone and define the boundaries and potential of the larger body of bulk tonnage style halo gold mineralization.

Rattlesnake Hills is an alkalic gold system, similar in geology with the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado.

Carlin Property

Drilling at the Carlin property has intersected alteration and sulfides in highly favorable host rocks. These rock units are similar to those that host major zones of gold mineralization in the gold deposits in the Carlin Trend.

This drilling is designed to test geophysical results that suggest the presence of favorable host rocks of the Carlin Trend that have not been tested previously by drilling. The Carlin property is included as part of an agreement with subsidiary companies of Newmont Mining Corporation.

- Drilling has intersected favorable host rocks, visually interpreted
as Lower Plate rock units similar to those that host the high grade
gold mineralization in the Carlin Trend.

- Abundant fine grained pyrite is present in these units at 2,800 -
3,000 feet in the drill hole.

- Starting at 3,780 feet and continuing to the current bottom of the
drill hole, approximately 4,000 feet, these favorable units are
strongly altered (decalcified) and contain abundant arsenic sulfides
(realgar and orpiment) and lesser amounts of antimony sulfide
(stibnite) in veinlets and along fractures.

- Evolving Gold plans to mobilize a second drill rig to the Carlin
property, pending discussions with local land owners, local officials
and regulators.

The Company cautions that these preliminary results are based on visual, field observations. Gold assays are still pending for the drilling at Carlin, with results expected within several weeks. Until such time as assay results are received and released, the observed data should be considered speculative.

Evolving Gold has approximately $19 million in its treasury, sufficient funding to continue to aggressively explore the Rattlesnake Hills project and to expand the drilling program at the Carlin property.

About Evolving Gold Corp.

Evolving Gold is focused on its discovery property - Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming. Evolving has the option to acquire 100% of the Rattlesnake Hills project.

Evolving also has gold properties in New Mexico and Nevada including a lease agreement with subsidiaries of Newmont Mining Corporation on four prospective gold properties (North Carlin District Properties) located within the prolific Carlin Gold Trend (see press release 12/5/2007).
