Location and Date: The Barn at Aspen Grove, Elkton, VA | May 2012

The Details: This was my first time photographing a wedding at The Barn at Aspen Grove. Tucked indiscreetly in the Shenandoah Valley, The Barn played host to Michael and Crystal’s very relaxed, fun and family-oriented wedding. The weather was perfect, and highlights included the gorgeous views, cowboy boots, a tiered cupcake cake and mason jar wine glasses!

Location and Date: Strasburg, VA | May 2012

The Details: One of the great things about being a wedding and portrait photographer is being able to see and document the lives of your clients as time goes by. Jeremy and Rachel had me do their engagement session, their wedding and now portraits of their first child, Isaac. He was such a precious little newborn and a real joy to photograph.

I used to draw Mega Man robots all the time during my childhood. Decided to give it a go in adulthood with Hedgehog Man!

A photograph I snapped while taking a short walk after lunch. It was probably one of the bluest skies I have ever seen.

Location and Date: The Historic Rosemont Manor, Berryville, VA – April 2012

The Details: They say that timing is everything. Knowing that, Michael and Stephanie could not have timed the date of their wedding more perfectly to coincide with the blooming flowers and trees at the historic Rosemont Manor. The azaleas were in full bloom, as were many of the other trees and flowers, giving us endless locations and settings to take photographs. The ceremony and reception were full of emotion, happiness, traditions and many fun and awesome guests!

A music video inspired by the song “Cypress Grove” by Clutch, in which a lost man stumbles upon a cabin in the woods with some rather unpleasant residents.

In the woods of Winchester can be found a wand with magical powers…and a terrible curse. A short film I made with my kids. 

I created this 20-minute orientation video for new students at LFCC, covering a variety of important topics and providing a comprehensive overview of Lord Fairfax Community College for new students.
