Hello everyone! A few of you have contacted me wondering what is going on, where is the alien, and asking why there is no explanation. So, here it is …

I’m lazy.

Yep. That’s it. Nothing mind boggling complicated, overly dramatic, or particularly interesting — which is why I haven’t written an explanation up until now. I was deathly ill for about a week and recuperating for a week after that, but that really only accounts for a couple weeks in June. The rest of the time, I’ve simply needed to get my life back in order. You know, the really boring stuff no one talks about (and certainly never shows in artistic movies, well, unless you count a good 80′s “chores” montage). The good news is that now my home is reasonably presentable, the front yard doesn’t eat small children (no promises about the back yard), and I’m on a decent sleep schedule, I can actually start to carve out time in my schedule for the alien.

First on the a2alien project list is actually a bit of a secret for now. I’m working on a special comic that will only be available in a limited way. More on that as it progresses.

Second is prepping for SPX. The a2alien will be back this year and I’m working on some new mini comics as well as a few new merchandise options. Keep a look out for a survey or two as I need some input on the types of merch you are most interested in being able to purchase.

It is no secret that I love pins / buttons / badges, whatever you want to call them. I pick them up whenever I can find a freebie and will even purchase them from time to time. So, it is with great pleasure that I can announce a2alien buttons are now available!

I’m in the process of setting up a store and the pins will be available for purchase along with some of the various a2alien merch you may have seen at the various con’s I’ve attended.

Not much to say about this one. I’m sticking with colour for now. I have to admit it was a snooze doodle that got me to add the spider; that, and a gentle nudge to add more characters. Guess the comic has progressed a tiny tad. Hoorah! (:
