Next would be the gym at around 9AM, where they stretch and warmup, working on their cores and lifting heavy.

Immediately after that, they head on to the court at 10AM, where they do a light shoot-around, familiarizing themselves with the court. This is where they begin doing drills wearing their basketball shoes and improve their skills. Then, the real basketball training begins.

For about three hours, a basketball athlete would be doing game shootings, ball handling, and face-up moves, practicing how their gameplay and making sure they get it right. It’s all intense and tiring, but worth it. During off-season, players would work individually. But during playoffs, they would work together. But that depends on the personal preference of the player.

Next up would be a heavy post-workout lunch at 1 or 2PM. After that, they would either go back to the courts, or have personal time with loved ones. As much as possible, they sleep at around 10 or 11PM for energy the next day. And the cycle continues.

Usually, players would follow this routine for about six days a week, having one rest day for their loved ones or to relax and get ready for another week of training. Basically, it’s all weights and basketball training to build muscle, endurance, and improve their basketball skills.
