Business Model - A Must Have!

Based on Wikipedia, a business model is a framework for creating economic, social, and/or other forms of value. The term business model is thus used for a broad range of informal and formal descriptions to represent core aspects of a business, including purpose, offerings, strategies, infrastructure, organizational structures, trading practices, and operational processes and policies.

Osterwalder proposed a business model design template which allows enterprises to describe their business model and is shown below:
Alright, cut it short, the most important component is the income sources or revenue streams that is a must have to ensure profitable for long term with the efforts and resources invested. My definition of this component is the reasonable and realistic money flow into the business. The keyword here is realistic, which to me it means the amount of money correlates with the capital invested, resources involve and the maturity of the income sources. Example for this website, I will start with USD10 per month and will increase the target once this website is getting more mature.

So, what's the zero cost online passive income sources that I'm planning to create?

Take a Break...

Gosh... it's extremely hot out there. Just replaced the garden tap and keep sweating until now. And now I am really sure that I really like to work in front of a computer inside a cozy place.

Alright, just simple update for now. So far, after 2 days of setting up this site, we have 2 visitors from overseas, which is Indonesia and US. However, based on the Google Analytics's report, their bounce rate is 100%, which is not good. Anyway, it's a good start with a little traffic flowing through.

I just realized that the RSS aggregator by Hermes are localized to the user and default to Google's News which means the visitors will not see the ClickBank's feeds and links as what I have set because we don't have the same cookies. I have removed this gadget and have tried to replace with other free resources online but found out one of them is scam, one with embeded Google AdSense but with the developer's ID and many others that are not working. You may want to counter check the links auto generated cause the ClickBank's ID may defaulted to the developer.

Getting This Site Up (Part 3)

Morning guys, I didn't manage to sleep much last night because I broke the two hours rule that I set to figure out the best way to place the RSS feed generator of ClickBank. It is another alternate source of income and can be optimized by generating the affiliate links of the e-books or software products in ClickBank into a series of RSS feed that can be displayed in a RSS reader just like what I did at the bottom and right bars. Both RSS readers were found in Blogger list of gadgets and they are really helpful and met my needs to expand the coverage to reach more passive income sources.

They look cool, right? The best part is they are free. It's worthwhile to break the two hours rule (rules are meant to be broken, anyway) as I learn and explore new things along the way to create multiple sources of online passive income through this website which keep me going on and on without sleep.

I also found new ideas while doing some explorations and studies like link cloaking, twitter and Google Analytics which I will share more.

Hopefully, the first income can be generated soon, as typically, once the income started, it will continue for sometime until something new updated inside the website.

Getting This Site Up (Part 2)

Probably you would ask, shouldn't we investigate on the so-called high traffic keywords with high return of pay-per-click/impression before we work on the details like most of the internet marketers do? I think it depends on how you plan your website but for me, my preference for now is to quickly put everything together on the easiest tasks and let those time consuming works come later. Those time consuming tasks are like keywords search and search engine friendly website design.

It is interesting to learn from WiX.com that even stunning flash websites generated from their free tools are fully compatible with search engines and made to be search engine friendly. You may want to try that but for now, I will put it a side until I have more time and the monetary return is cleared.

One of the tips for Search Engine Optimization or well-known with SEO, so that it becomes search engine friendly, is to make the text non-standard such as italic, bold, underline, different colours and sizes, etc.

Getting This Site Up (Part 1)

As you can see from here, I have already done most of the basic works required based on Google's AdSense available tools to be monetized from which are the:

Google AdSense for Content
Google AdSense for Search
Google AdSense for Feeds

You may notice that I did not change the template but to use one of the 16 templates available in Blogger.com. You can find many other templates available online for free by doing a simple search with Google using the keywords such as "template for blogger" (or click here). I will change the template later as it will usually take me some time to test and upload to free host such Blogger.com. My preference is always 3 columns or more template but for the time being, time is running out and we should get this site up as soon as possible.

Probably you will ask why Blogger.com and not the others free hosting websites? There is no special preference which free hosts are better to monetize from but because I am familiar with this host and it has been bought over by Google who providing very useful links or shortcuts to Google's AdSense.

One of my methods is to always reference to other successful blogs to seek for new ideas and ensure the basic features are all set to go. My reference for now is of couse from my coach and also my favourite internet marketing blog by e1Net.

I have always wanted to start something like this site to thoroughly test and prove to non-believers that in the recent world, it is no longer the world that we used live in like the song that we used to sing sounds like "....no money no talk, no money no talk".

This site will be discussing and sharing multiple sources of online passive income with no starting capital or zero cost. Key words here are zero cost, online, passive and multiple sources of income (well known as MSI).

Why zero cost? And not even low cost? We can discuss about this in later posts along the way in crystallizing the income sources that we targeted to be passive and only with internet connected PC.

So, first thing first, I will setup this site with the necessary income generation tools with resources from Google for a start and will then move on from here.
