Hey guy, today I am going to show you how to solve the issue of “ can’t find compiler executable in your configured search path’s for GNU GCC Compiler” error when using Code:Blocks.

All you have to do is follow this fews steps:

Open you Code:Blocks;
· Click on settings:
· Select compiler from the dropdown menu;
· Goto the Toolchain Executables Tab;
· Then click on Auto-detect and OK;
· Restart your Code:Blocks;
· That’s all.

Twitter Will Be Increasing Their Female employees by 35% In 2016

Like a lot of tech companies in Silicon Valley, Twitter last year published numbers about the different backgrounds and cultures of its employees, and its numbers were revealed to be rather white and very male. Specifically, as of last July, 70 percent of its employees were men, and 72 percent of its managers were white.

Mother Jones called the numbers “embarrassing.” Twitter apparently agrees. According to a newly published post by the company, Twitter is committed to making its U.S. workforce more diverse by the end of 2016.

First, it’s tackling its male-to-female ratio imbalance, saying it plans to increase the number of its female employees to 35 percent (up from 30 percent last year); increase women in tech roles to 16 percent (up from 10 percent); and ensure the percentage of women in leadership roles hits 25 percent (up from 21 percent). No, that’s not 50-50, but remember, we’re talking about the span of a couple of years here.

Twitter is also promising to increase the number of underrepresented minorities that it employs, with the goal of bumping their numbers to 11 percent overall (up from 7 percent last year), to 9 percent in tech roles (up from 3 percent) and to 6 percent in leadership roles (up from 4 percent).

Again, this may elicit groans. We’ll admit we’re not that excited about that 6 percent number in particular. But again, progress takes time.

Google Chrome Threaten Stop Auto Video Play.

Remember that time when you had a lot of tabs opened on your PC and all of a sudden music started playing or some ad to win a free iPad or buy genitalia enlargement drugs started playing in the background. You literally searched through all the tabs, but you were unable to find this particular tab and you managed to get the whole attention of your office. Makes you want to literally smash your computers.

Well, Google Chrome is threatening death to autoplay videos that have no regards for your personal web browsing experience. Yay moment?

Chrome released a fix for that last year by including a buzzer symbol in tabs that had autoplay audio files to make it easier to search for these tabs, and now they’re proposing a better fix for such nuisance tabs.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the new update that will come in the Chrome browser doesn’t stop autoplay videos which significantly affects user data consumption, it only pauses autoplay videos when you’re no longer on the tab with the video, meaning that the video will only play when the tab is foregrounded.

According to this TechCrunch report, the feature is now live in the Dev Channel version of Chrome, which means it should roll out to the standard public version of Chrome once they’ve worked out all the kinks.

It seems like everywhere a person goes there is at least one person in view with a cell phone to their ear whether it is on the road, in a store, in a parking lot, walking down the street, etc. Even in places where cell phone usage is banned such as concert halls or movie theaters there is the occasional offender, or more likely, at least a few people using the text messaging feature on their phone.

Cell phone usage has exploded over the past decade and continues to rise. Over two hundred million people in the United States have cell phones and there are well over one billion users worldwide. That means there are a lot of phones sending their frequencies over the airwaves at any given time.

Concern has arisen over whether or not cell phone usage can harm a person’s health. Brain cancer rates in the United States have risen since cell phones were introduced, leading some people to wonder if cell phone usage is the reason for the increase.

There have been reports of people developing brain tumors in the exact same spot where they held their cell phone. Some studies have expressed concern over long-term cell phone use, believing it can lead to a person to develop cancer. That is not to say a person who uses a cell phone is going to get cancer, but some studies suggest long-term use increases a person’s risk.

Things may not be all gloom and doom however. A large study done in Denmark with almost a half million cell phone users showed no increase in cancer for cell phone users.

Yet, other studies have concluded there is a greater risk of cancer but only with analog phone users. Some other studies conclude that any type of cell phone usage can raise a person’s risk for developing cancer. There are a lot of varying opinions on the subject. According to the FDA, available data does not show there are definitely health problems associated with using wireless phones, but the information goes on to say that there is also no proof that wireless phones are completely safe either.

What about cell phone usage is causing the concerns and the numerous studies to be done? Cell phones emit radiation when they are used. The levels are low and are the same type of radiation as a microwave oven emits but in much smaller amounts.

It has been suggested that using hands free sets can alleviate the problem of the head being exposed to the radiation. Again opinions vary. Some studies say it does not decrease the amount of radiation exposure at all. Other studies say it significantly decreases the amount of radiation exposure.

Some people say the biggest danger with cell phones isn’t from the either real or perceived potential to develop cancer, but from inattentiveness while using the cell phone. How many of us have seen vehicles driving somewhat erratically down the road and then see when we get near the vehicle that the driver is talking on a cell phone. It is a proven fact that a driver on a cell phone is less attentive and more likely to get in an accident. And, hands free sets aren’t the answer that some people may believe. Yes, they free up both hands for driving and prevent a person from getting a sore arm, but the driver’s mind is still occupied with the conversation and therefore less attentive to what is going on around him or her on the road.

Even people who are walking and talking on a cell phone at the same time can put themselves in more danger because they are not as aware of what is going on around them.

All the conflicting reports make a person wonder what they should do. The good news is that more comprehensive studies are being done to see if cell phone usage does or does not cause cancer. At the same time, manufacturers are working on new processes that will decrease or even possibly eliminate a person’s radiation exposure. Until more definitive answers are given, a person may want to avoid talking on a cell phone for several hours every single day, but a person probably does not need to feel like they should have to give their cell phone up. It is still a great tool.

The advice about driving and talking on a cell phone is the same as it has been though. A person should pull over in a safe area out of traffic before engaging in a cell phone conversation.

Choose A Strong Password For Your Account.

Hey guys, due to the increase in the hacking of social network accounts and other issues, today I decided to write on how to choose a strong password dor your accounts.

No sane person would ever like someone else reading his/her email. Or for that matter some other person using his/her password and breaking into a financial institution. You should, therefore, choose a strong, secure password in such a manner that would be a hard nut to crack for others and easy for you to remember. The more random and mixed-up you make it, the harder it is for others to crack. Mind you, if your password is compromised, the password crackers will even take over your identity.

A password, if too short, is vulnerable to attack if an attacker gets hold of the cryptographic hash of the password. Present-day computers are fast enough to try all alphabetic passwords shorter than seven characters. We can call a password weak if it is short or is a default, or which can be rapidly guessed by searching a subset of all possible passwords such as words in the dictionary, proper names, words based on the user name or common variations on these themes.

On the other hand, a strong password would be sufficiently long, random, or which can be produced only by the user who chose it, so that 'guessing' for it will require too long a time.

For maximum security, the user should follow some simple guidelines:

1) Passwords should preferably be at least 8 characters long and not more than 14.

2) Passwords should contain a mix of numbers, letters, and special characters (%&3ac_ht4@m7).

3) Passwords should not contain a dictionary word from any dictionary, be it French, Spanish, medical, etc.

4) Each password should be different from the user's User-ID and any permutation of that User-ID.

5) New passwords and old passwords should differ by at least 3 characters.

6) Avoid picking names or nicknames of people, pets, or places, or personal information that can be easily found out, such as your birthday, address etc.

7) It’s wise to stay away from common keyboard sequences, such as dfgh678 or abc345 .

8) Never form a password by appending a digit to a word. That can be easily guessed.

9) Avoid writing your password down or storing it on your computer.

10) Never share your password with anyone else.

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games or MMORPG’s as they are more commonly known, are role playing games which bring together large numbers of players via the internet.

A defining feature of MMORPG’s is that they all offer a persistent virtual world in which to play. These worlds often support thousands of simultaneous players, all of whom are playing a single character in the game.

What Does This Mean?
In a MMORPG you take control of a character (often known as an avatar) and guide its actions within the game. Most games offer an experience based level system – a player guides their character through certain tasks, such as killing a monster, and in return their ability to repeat similar tasks increases. This is usually represented by an overall skill level associated to the character, and sub levels representing individual skills.

As the worlds are persistent your skills are saved, meaning that the time and effort invested into the game is permanently reflected in your character. For example if you played a combat orientated game your overall ability to fight may be represented by a Combat Level – this level would increase each time you gained a pre-determined number of experience points, granting more powerful abilities and skills. When you logout of the game everything is remembered so next time you play you can start from where you left off.

Online
As MMORPG’s connect thousands of players with the same virtual world central game servers provide a synchronized experience for everybody. This means if you killed a specific monster then it would not only vanish from your screen, but also from that of all the other players.

Real time chat is usually available, typed messages can be displayed to other players in and round your location. Additionally it is common for MMORPG’s to allow trade between players as well as combat, duels and team work.

Playing As A Group
A great aspect of playing an MMORPG is that nearly every game provides a system for players to work together. This can be teaming up to tackle difficult enemies or pooling resources in order to advance the goals of the team. Such groups are known as clans or guilds.

CCNA stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate - a certification for IT professionals that is issued by Cisco Systems, Inc., one of the most successful computer networking companies. Cisco manufactures and markets a wide range of devices for both enterprises and telecommunications carriers. Cisco is an abbreviation of San FranCISCO.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate is an apprentice, or foundation level (along with Cisco Certified Design Associate),within the three levels of certification that include Associate, Professional, and Expert. Spyware refers to malicious software that takes partial control of a computer's operation through

unauthorized access without the computers owners' knowledge or consent, and has become one of the

biggest security threats to computer users today.Spyware exploits infected computers for commercial

gain, usually by including unsolicited pop-up advertisements; by monitoring the users' online

activities; by routing http requests to advertising sites; or by stealing personal information such as

financial information. In fact, it is estimated that identity-thieves have stolen over US$ 24 billion

worth of account information in the United States alone.

Spyware most often infects a computer by piggybacking on a desirable software and the user

unknowingly downloading and installing it. Spyware also often lurks in rogue anti-spyware programs

that pretend to be security software. Spyware also comes bundled with shareware or other

downloadable software and music CDs.

Yet another method of distributing spyware involves tricking computer users by manipulating

security features designed to prevent unwanted installations. For example, surfers using the Internet

Explorer web browser may unwittingly click on a command prompt that appears to be a Windows

dialog box, when in actual fact it initiates the spyware download.

With the spyware threat worsening, several anti-spyware programs have emerged that are designed to

counteract or remove spyware. Programs such as Ad-Aware SE and Spybot - Search & Destroy are

some of the more popular and effective tools to remove and intercept spyware programs. Microsoft

has also released Windows AntiSpyware to combat the spyware problem.

Other popular anti-spyware programs include Spy Sweeper, Spyware Doctor, XoftSpy, and

CounterSpy.Anti-virus firms Symantec, McAfee and Sophos, while reluctant initially to add anti-

spyware features to their anti-virus products, have finally added anti-spyware features to the recent

which are not as vulnerable as IE is to spyware - though that is not to say that Google Chrome and

Firefox have not suffered from similar security vulnerabilities. No one single browser is 100% safe,

Some internet service providers, especially colleges and universities, block spyware by using their

network firewalls and web proxies to block access to Web sites known to install spyware.

Spyware sometimes hide in shareware programs offered for download, so downloading programs

only from reputable sources provides some protection from this source of attack.

Although the Graphical User Interface(GUI) has taken over the Computing world today, it will be

interesting to be able to use the CMD to perform some basic tasks in order to look like a

Genius in front of your friends.

So today, I am going to teach you how to use the Command line to perform some basic functions

on your Windows.

Firt of all, lets begin by walking you through how to Start the CMD.

Step 1: Click on start.

Step 2: Type in CMD.

Step 3: Click on the CMD icon.

Now you have successfully start the CMD. Below are list of some basic CMD command and their uses:

1. MD: It is an acronym for make directory, it is use to create a new directory (folder).
how to use: type "md folder name", then enter.

2. RD: It is an acronym for remove directory, it is use to remove(delete) directory(folder).
How to use:type "rd folder name", then enter.

3. DIR: It is use to list all the files that are in the current directory.
How to use:type "dir", then enter.

4. HELP: It is use to show how to use a specific command.
How to use:type "help any command", then enter.

5. DEL:It is use to delete a file in the current directory you are in.(Note that it cant be used to delete a folder, you need to use RD).
How to use:type "del *file name*" then enter, or type "del *.*" then enter to delete all the files in a directory.

6. CMD: It is use to display information about the Windows version on the PC.
How to use:type "cmd", then enter.

7. TRACKLIST: It is use to display all the tasks that are currently active on the PC.

How to use:type "tracklist", then enter.

8. TASKILL: It is use to end all of the listed tasks that are active on the PC.(You need to take note of the PID on the task you want to end).
How to use:type "taskkill -pid 'PID of the task' " then enter.

9. CLS: It is use to clear the screen of the Command prompt.
How to use:type "cls", then enter.

10. EXIT: It is use to close the command prompt interface.
How to use:type "exit", then enter.

Although this is not the list of all the commands, but this will get you started for the main time.

window of your Laptop (Screenshot), but due to lack of Software, You had no option but to just

let whatever it is pass by (may it's a game, an achievement you got from a site, etc).

Then be rest assured that it wont happen again, because to I am going to teach you a very simple

method you can use to take a screen shot of you current window on your Laptop without the use of

internet any application what so ever.

In order to take the screen shot of your Laptop, just follow this simple steps below:

Step 1: Locate the "fn" button (it is next to the "ctlr" button on my keyboard);

Step 2: Locate the "prt sc" button (it is on the same row with the function keys);

Step 3: After locating the two keys, press them both (i.e fn + prt sc);

Step 4: Then open any image editor you have e,g Paint, Photoshop, Corel draw, etc;

Step 5: Then just press "ctrl + v" to paste the screen shot into the image editor:

Step 6: Crop the image and extract the specific part you want from the image. That's all.

This site my favorite, why you ask? well because it has a comprehensive introduction to Python which happens to be
my favorite language, aside that if you are interested in web development, there are courses for HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
Ruby and each contains a project at the end to test if you actually learnt something. This site presents you with an interactive
way of learning, using an online interpreter for various languages, you can
follow instructions from each chapter, write the code in the editor instantly and test your code if it works.
Also there are hints to somewhat "difficult" tasks in case you can't find your way. Also you gather points from actually completing
modules,and they have something called streak, which is just a measurement of consecutive days you spent completing tasks.
Additionally, after completing a language training, you can choose to start learning some API's like that of twitter,
facebook e.t.c and guess what? its completely free.

Code School
This web platform is similar to Codecademy in a way, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby (Ruby on Rails). But it additionally have courses
on Objective-C, iOS development,using version control systems (GIT), JQuery and a bunch of other API's. Though unlike Codecademy, some courses have charges.

Lynda.com
lynda.com is an online education company offering thousands of video courses in software, creative, and business skills. Founded in 1995,
the company produces video tutorials taught by industry experts. Members have unlimited access to watch the videos, which are primarily educational.

Haskell
If you are curious about functional programming languages, haskell is a place to start, this site gives a short introduction
to haskell programming language interactively, giving you an overview of the concept and learning some basic syntax.

There are many other sites you can use to learn aside this one's, sites such as Cousera, Udacity , youtube etc, where you can find full university
course lectures in video with interactive course works and tasks, which you can do to test your knowledge and also certificates are awarded in some
courses to those who satisfy the requirements of the courses.

Microsost Sacks Nigerian Employees

Microsoft on Thursday sacked 34 (85 per cent) of the 40 employees in the Nigerian office of its phone division.

The sacking came 24 hours after the company’s latest Windows 10 was made available in Nigeria and 189 other countries.

Although, Windows 10 is now available as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems or with new personal computers and tablets, industry experts said it would leave about 15 million Nigerian payments cards prone to hacking.

Employees at the Nigerian office were silent on the matter, but a source said that the downsizing was part of the global decision of Microsoft to streamline its phone division.

The source said the sacking was in line with the massive layoff of workers “sweeping through the global offices of Microsoft’s phone division.”

The Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft, Satya Nadella, had said in a memo to all Nigerian employees in late June that the company needed to make some “tough choices” in areas that were not working.

The memo had stated that 7,800 jobs would be cut from the mobile division working on Windows Phone hardware.

Hurray to all Angry Bird’s fans out there. It has been more than Six years now when Angry Birds first took flight, finally another version will be coming out on July 30, Rovio announced last week.

The details are brief, but Angry Birds 2 apparently will be "bigger, badder and birdier," going by a tweet from Rovio.

Rovio hasn't specified if Angry Birds 2 will launch on both Android and iOS, but the company indicated that the game will hit "app stores," plural. Exclusivity could hurt a company that's still searching for it's next massive hit.

The first entry in the Angry Birds series won the hearts of critics, casual and core gamers alike. While times have changed, along with the fortunes of Rovio, the franchise's longevity indicates the sequel may win the support of current fans and even attract more, said Ted Pollak, Jon Peddie Research senior analyst for the games industry.

"Angry Birds' popularity has persisted long enough that it's bordering on becoming an evergreen franchise," he told TechNewsWorld. "As long as Rovio continues to make quality versions of an historically popular game, success amongst its fan base is likely, and with a good possibility of drawing in new users."

A teaser has dropped for the Angry Birds 2, which will be the first direct sequel to the original 2009 game. The teaser features much of the same ubiquitous bird twittering, pig oinking, and backing score that fans of the series have come to know and expect from the ever popular series. HOW TO RECOVER HIDDEN FILES FROM A HDD

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE BENEFICIENT, THE MERCIFUL.
Just a few day ago, I inserted my external hdd into my laptop, and found out that one of the drives on my HDD was empty(but the space taken by the files inside was not free).
So I did some research and found a way to recover my files back. So today I have decided to share it with you guys too.
STEPS
* Click on start
* Type run
* Type cmd
* Then type attrib -h -r -s /s /d k:\*.* (note; "k" should be replaced with the drive name)

After that all your files should be back intact.
If this does not work, then try this :
STEPS
* Hold shift and right click the drive
* Then type attrib -h -r -s /s /d k:\*.* (note; "k" should be replaced with the drive name)
