As you all know the Pkra was canceld , but unspite that Angela and me we still went to Brazil to have some training and good moments!

Like always here in Cumbuco the laguna is pretty crowded but it,s fun, are a lot of riders from KPWT and PKRA , so it,s good fun to hang out with them and train a little.

In total we will be in Brazil for one month but we had already just over a week so 3 more.

This weekend we had the dutch championship at scheveningen. The wind was strong the first day and the second perfect for some freestyle action. I made it up to the Final against Kevin langeree. We where just ok on ours 12,s on sunday and pulling everything out of the bag. After a close decision kevin was to strong for me and finishd 2nd. Now i am in Tarifa again To train hard again for the Next pkra tourstop.

Also a big hands up to the organisation , had a great event guys!

pano gorge

After a 10 days photoshoot up in the Gorge with the Slingshot Family. We had some good winds , and we went to a lot of nice spots, flat ,choppy, wave,s we did it all. It was my first time up in the gorge and i loved it! it,s really pretty and the wind is good a little gusty but thats alright. Would like to give an extra Thanks to Tony and Heidi for the hospitality, cheer guys. We had a great 10 days, had a lot of fun with the SS family hahah. Big as monkey buisnnes. 2 days a go i flew back home in the morning, and the next morning(so yesterday) i arrived at Amsterdam, but my next flight went again at 2o clock so i went to mystic to hang out and drop some kite,s Went back again to the airport and go on the flight again to Mallorca this time, where i am invited for a big event , that is already happening for the last 5 years.

Arriving at Mallorca i was really tyred but i had to wait in my hotel room for my girlfriend to arrive, witch arrived at 11 in the night. Today we had a chill day hanged around at the event , but in the afternoon it start raining so we went back to the hotel and chilled out. Maybe tomorrow we will wakeboard a little bit or kite depends on the wind but i think it,s not going to happen. Monday early morning i will fly to Tarifa for 1,5 day an than back home again!

, Have been a while from my last update out of Germany. After Germany i went back home and stayed there for a bout a week, took care of some stuff.Angela went already back to Tarifa, so i was thinking of going there as well. So i did and went there for a week. Had some good winds, al days where levante and strong had some nice kite and windsurf sessions. Al with al i had a realy good time there, unfortunatly i could not stay longer because i had to go to USA for the RPM 2, to test and fotoshoot. So of we go, i asked my dad to come as well to the Gorge and ofcourse he wanted it. At arrival at the airport we didn,t had to paiy anything for my boardbag, witch is quit unusual .But the knew to tall me that our economy seats where over booked and we had to ask at the gate for the seats. So at arrival at the gate we meet a good friend of us who is working in The airport and he was like a let me have a chat so he did and he came back with some buisnes elite boarding cards, eheheh sweet! Damm what a luxury is that, champage, nice steak and the chairs sweet! Our flight took 10 ours and was a straight on. At arrival the picked us up from the airport and we drove directly to the coast where the predicted some wind,these place is very nice! some nice wave,s as well only the water is freezingly cold, i geuss around 5degrees or so. Luckly the outside temp was warm. The wind didnt realy worked that good but we ride a little bit. The next day after a good sleep , we had some energy again and we drove to an other spot but the wind didnt work out and we drove back to SS main spot Hood river. We had a nice diner at tony,s place who kooked some nice and spicy chiken for us, heheh sweet! Today the wind looks very promissing so hopefully we get some nice riding done.

We had a long we home, but finally i am. They we’re working on the road and nearly every 5km we had a traffic jam.

Angela took the plane this morning from Rotterdam to Tarifa. Probably i will be staying home for a week  and then for a week in Tarifa and after that head on to the Gorge to test some new RPMs

 Super happy, after some super hard heats i finaly ended up 2nd.

I was waiting for my heat , against who i had to go, it was Andy yates or Reno romeu.

Andy was riding super well and won over Reno. So i had to go against Andy. I knew he was riding really good so, i had to as well.

I pull out a lot of tricks, switch and doubles powered all and i won. So I had to go against Aaron , it was going to be hard but I had a super good heat and i won 4-1 against him. Now I had to go against Kevin again, both we didnt have a great heat , chrasht quit a lot , but kevin had some more tricks and wat just a bit better. So he won.

Finaly we looking to the end of the PKRA here in germany, 10 days is a long way.

The last 2 days we had some good winds, the first day we had to get the whole singels and a part of the doubels done.

The day started of with some strong winds over 35 a 40 knots , gust mayby even more. As soon as the rains was coming the wind was picking up , super strong and with the rain it was to bad to ride, so some heats where canceld and restarted.

In the end of the day i came out against kevin , but unfotunatly i lost and had to fight it out with reno for the 3th or 4th place in the singels.

I ended up 3th .

Angela did a good job as well , unspite the strong winds she got a 4th place.

We arrived the day of the registration in St Peter Ording after a straight flight from Fuerte and we didnt have to pay nothing for the boardbags so thats was alright.

We where quit tired after de travel , so we wanted to eat and sleep and be ready for the next day, after the Skipersmeeting from Olaf van Tol, we knew we had lots of time left because there where around 3 hours of trials.

When the Trials where done, the water was just coming al the way up and the whole beach was floaded with water so al people where running to get there cars and other stuff.

The kiters had some really nice fun was a big playground of flat water. I didn,t ride because I was saving my energy for the next days.

The next day the wind was light but juts enough for a start of the main event, I was already up in the second heat, rigged my 14m RPM and barely made it to the outside bouy , the wind was straight onshore and i was just pumping to get some hight in my trick,s in the end i won over Thomas Paris, with some switch tricks and a backmobe to wrapped.

The last 2 days there was no wind only just enough for racing, so we have been chilling on the beach.

Ps; when there will be some action again i will be updating if not, you will know i will be hanging and chilling heheheh.

Today we finished the  doubels, and i kind of new it that i ha to go against Aaron again cause he realy want to get back, we both rode a strong heat and till the end we where quit even, the last trick i did was a frontmobe pass and snapt my strap during landing and AAron was poping out some tricks.

We got a 3-2 decicions for Aaron, so he had to go up against Kevin, and needed to beat him twice to get the title.Wel he did, after 2 realy close heats Aaron come out as the winner.
