Mike Fleming of Deadline New York is reporting that Asa Butterfield (“Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang”) will play the title character in Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, with the female lead role of Isabelle going to Chloe Moretz (“Kick-Ass”).
