So if you’re looking to keep them away, here are a few tricks to keep in mind:

1.     Cut Out Sugar

One way how to prevent yeast infections is by eliminating all sugar from your diet.  I know how crazy this sounds, but if you can pull this off, you will see a difference.  Sugar love yeast, they feed off of it, eliminate their food source though and they’re as good as dead.  Use artificial sweeteners instead and chew on a lot of gum to get you through the day rather than sweet sugary snacks.

2.     Don’t Wear Tight Pants

This is a tough one for us ladies, but yeast love tight areas and they grow like crazy in them.  If you want to keep the yeast from returning, try wearing more skirts or loosely fitted pants instead, you don’t always have to wear skin tight clothes to look sexy.

3.     Go Commando

As we mentioned before, yeast love tight cramped spots, this is why if you can go without underwear altogether, that area will be able to breathe a lot better.  Now this isn’t something you can always do, but if you’re in a position to get away with it, definitely try it out.
