Recently the Comiket 78 event has taken place in Japan and as usual great cosplayers has been showing up introducing their take on 2D characters all from the game related ones to the classical Anime and Manga take ons.

The readers of Dengeki magazine has provided a list of candidate which they presume would be the best picks for a relationship based on friendship, and apart from the first obvious pick, the rest are somewhat of an unsuspected surprise. Well mostly.

It is not such a big surprise that the east sees the more traditional hero as a man who can overcome every and any circumstances by pure will power alone, but in the west the view is different says Square Enix who believe that the west demand an believable character by adding more muscular physics onto its body and giving him an age proper age which shows his “experience” within the field.

The importance of “believability” is strongly emphasised in the North American market.

Why are American characters always older guys? This can be explained with reference to “believability.”

For a protagonist who triumphs against adversity to be believable in the eyes of players, they want him to be tough and highly experienced.

This isn’t limited to characters – in “Fallout 3″ you see the example of Nuka Cola, which gives health when drunk but also poisons the body with radiation. At first this doesn’t seem realistic at all, but when you consider the setting is post-apocalyptic it becomes “believable.”

This piece of information was introduced to the world by the Square Enix at CEDEC 2010, where it has along with the differences in cosmetics of an hero also been pointed out that it would be best if the two worlds did not co-operate to develop a game, as it could lead to communication issues amongst others.

Much have been hinted at from developers from the east on how to “successfully” penetrate the gaming market and conquer. However no matter the times it has been tried out over and over again, it has not been able to produce the anticipated profit.

Hayate no Gotoku has been announced to be converted over to a live action TV drama adaptation by a Taiwanese TV Studio, and the actors playing the role of Hayate and Nagi have already been chosen it seems.

Though Anime/Manga to drama transactions aren’t that unusual today, this is an unique case where it either might go according to the original theme or not depending on the aim, as it is going from Japan to Taiwan, where everything in between can be a cause of lost translation, especially tempting considering the difference in taste for the groups of viewers.

Japanese teachers are not entirely unfamiliar with scandals. In fact here comes another addition to the already on going list.

The latest scandal in a Nagano prefecture school where a teacher who assists in running a instrument club called simply wind, gathered around the all the female members from that club and asked them to drop their panties and exchange them with the one he himself had supplied. The panties were told to be handed back to them after he had sorted them out and cleaned them at his very own home environment, but they were never heard from again.

The 49-year-old teacher had the girls panties handed over to him without the wink of an eye, but whilst the rest of them were willingly giving theirs away, one schoolgirl got suspicious and shared her experience with a fellow friend which further led to sharing it with her parents.

The parents as expected immediately demanded an explanation from the school, who of course gave the villainies teacher a chance to explain the entire matter. “I was thinking of nothing but winning that tournament,” said the teacher as his defense giving the explanation that he is used to serving girls panties as he does that to his very own girls, whilst promptly apologizing at the same time, “I did an extremely foolish and shameful thing.”

Not any excuse in the world could have saved the teacher from receiving his well deserved sacked punishment, and the panties which were involved in the case had been properly removed of by the principle.

The teacher wasn’t the only one in trouble though, as the school board reviewed the case, and found out that the principle of the school has been neglecting a previous incidence the teacher was involved with where he touched a girls body but the principle decided to not do a follow up as there wasn’t proper evidence. But clearly the school board differs as using that previous event could have made the latest one avoided, thus the school board fined an entire month’s salary cut for the principle.

A female driver was pulled over in Ohaio – USA for having a suspicious amount of tinted coloring on the vehicles all windows. When pulling her over, however, they came to realize it was not entirely for illegal usage, but for clearly hide the ongoing activities inside.

The officers pulling the car over where in a unexpected state of surprise and shock once they realized the driver was actually pleasing herself whilst driving. They found her trousers to be unbuttoned with a vibrator in her lap, but it was not the road she was feeling herself up with, but the laptop which was running a pornographic video held conventionally up by a second person in the backseat.

One would think that this was a rare occassion but that’s really not the case as it has been documented by a survey that more than just driving can occur whilst on the road.

The woman was ticketed for having tainted windows as well as for “impaired alertness”, but was later charged with illegal drug possession as a crack-pipe was discovered inside of her purse.

Ubisoft’s upcoming game Fighters Uncaged, a game where brawling between two muscular men are the key ingredients have had its 2 player offline versus play removed for the reason the developers claim to be “too dangerous”, as one would have to clash onto the other to actually score any hit points.

The Kinect exclusive game have had its two player brawler mode removed due to the fear people playing it would eventually need to hit each other to score any actual progress for the victory in mind.

This following comment regarding the two player option was given by the games producer:

“Versus mode was a bit too dangerous. It’s possible to do, but people just end up hitting each other.”

That certainly does sound like an awful situation for the offline 2 player mode, but perhaps more ideal for an online 2 player versus mode over XBOX Live, though we’re not certain they have taken that idea into consideration.

The game does sound good on paper, but perhaps not on an actual gaming concept, where players are forced to move more than what they do with an Wii controller or even perhaps, a Sony Move controller.

Ubisoft will be launching this game in November, so whether this game managed to charm it’s way into the ring of more conventional fighting games which uses the traditional controller scheme, is just a few months away from being seen.

The quite attractive ero-cosplayer idol Ushijima is to appear on a ero-manga where she goes through every phase of an traditional hentai manga.

Her appearance will be done in one of her priced cosplay based on a ero-maid uniform where the minimum revealing of the clothed ingredients are the highlights. Something which her good friend ero-mangaka Isami Nozomi has taken a liking to and tied into a mash-up between her and her ero-manga debut.

The manga itself is to appear in the compiled ero-manga comic collection of the October edition of ero-manga anthology Comic AUN.

It is celebration time as one of the more iconic moe character of her time from the K-ON! series has been updated one year, and giving her nation wide recognition, many in Japan found in more than necessary to celebrate this joyous occasion.

The unhackable Playstation 3 remains to be unhackable as the scene is without it’s heroe GeoHotz and now even lost its first possibly mass marketed Playstation 3 piracy tool, as Sony stepped in and brought the Australian developers behind the USB powered device to court making any sales of that device unable to proceed as the actions against them are proceeding.

[The court] orders that up to and including 31 August 2010, the First to Fourth Respondents and each of them, whether by themselves, their servants or agents, be restrained from doing any of the following acts with respect to all and any Universal Serial Bus devices described as “PSJailbreak” [...]:

(a) importing them into Australia with the intention of providing them to another person;
(b) distributing them to another person;
(c) offering them to the public;
(d) providing them to another person; and/or
(e) otherwise dealing in them.

The Australian company have already acknowledge the lengthy legal battle which is either going to expand over time or be done quickly, as they have apparently already refunded the amount which was paid for the device by customer as well as canceled orders which didn’t go through with the final transaction. The company is now in a standstill with their product as nothing can be done until some kind of verdict is reached by the end of August allowing them to either continue on with the sale, or discontinue.

Whilst nobody can tell the future of this device as of yet, nor if it officially works as advertise. Sony still sees is as a great threat towards it’s most promising console of this generation and keeps on pushing the legal actions, although the developers behind the device claims it could have easily been dealt with by using a simple firmware update.
