We just closed our Series B funding round with our VC partner, Sequoia Capital who invested an additional $12 million into Jive. We just issued a press release, and I want to give some additional context on how we will use the funding. There’s a very simple four part answer:

It’s about innovation.

Discuss this Bookmark

I typically like such behavior but it’s broken as of 10.6. I would frequently CMD-Tab to switch to a different application and start typing only to wonder why my keyboard was not working, then realize my input had gone to the Terminal which sometimes was no longer even visible.

To fix this, type the following in Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.

Discuss this Bookmark

There is one more in my favourite list now. Arielle Nadel is a teenage photographer, and she is trying to use her camera to tell stories of her little Danboard. Instead of just putting Danboard in front of a background and call it a shot, Arielle manages to present Danboard as a real person who has real emotion. Follow us and see if Arielle has more stories to tell about herself and the little guy!

Easy. I draw a scatterplot.

Now let’s see. I take a sample of 215 bands including those on top of the Billboard 200 (who are these people?) and calculate an average number of plays per each listener (via last.fm data). All things equal, the higher the average, the the more devoted the band’s fans are. Like this:

Then i draw a scatterplot basted on the whole set of data:

Discuss this Bookmark

Some add more power to existing capabilities. Others provide new flexibility to further customize and adapt Google Analytics according to the needs of your enterprise. Finally, we’ll introduce Analytics Intelligence. Resist the temptation to skip ahead. We wouldn’t want you to miss anything.
