The American rider of Ducati is recovering after the fall occurred in training last week of December which caused a fracture of his left shoulder and two ribs. The Kentucky Kid is working on his physical state in the California home ahead of the debut on the Ducati GP12.

Hayden has not yet been able to prove neither GP12 nor the version used by Rossi, in the absence of forced testing Valencia last November caused by the fracture of the wrist in a crash of the final race of 2011. Hayden fans via Twitter updates (@ NickyHayden69) from which he reported feeling better, but that its presence in Malaysia is a question difficult to achieve.

"I love motorcycling, off-road, road ... in all its forms. I grew up with the flat track, and follow her and still use it for training - has recently said in an interview with the online magazine Off Road and On Track taken from motogp.com. In defending the choice of flat track as the main form of training, despite the risk of injury, Hayden added: "I am convinced that to get on any kind of motion can be considered a workout. You can do what you want in the gym, but there's nothing like using your brain and muscles when you are in command of a two-wheeler. So many question marks, so much curiosity in front of a risky project, which will no doubt difficult but fascinating experts and enthusiasts. MotoGP.com interviewed Gino Borsoi , Sports Director Jorge Martinez Aspar team, who will race with Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaro.

Q: At what point are you with the development of the bike? Are focusing the work of a single prototype, or both? A: "We are already working on two motorcycles, among other things, one should already be ready for testing later this month in Valencia . This should be the ultimate bike for the frame and swingarm while the fairing and other respects it is only a first step. For the second prototype is likely to reuse the old frame, even for the chance to make a comparison in performance with the new one. "

Q: What is there more than on the prototype used by Randy testing in Valencia last November? A: "Again we have the frame, swingarm, carbon discs and some improvements as regards the weight, 3 - 4 pounds lighter. But all the same with regard to the electronics and the engine. We will also have a fairing completely renovated in the front. "

Q: How prepared are you and Aleix Randy? "Randy is resting in Australia after the operation it is submitted shortly before the end of the year to resolve a small physical problem. The surgery went very well and is now recovering and doing physical training in view of the Valencia test. Aleix but often turns motocross, devoting much of his time to this type of training. "

Q: We are still far from the start of the championship, but what are the goals for 2012? A: "Clearly the focus is in the best possible debut in this new category. We would like to play a season where you can stay ahead of all other CRT on the track. This is our basic idea. If then some circuit slower, maybe a little more 'crooked', we get closer to the bikes, so be it. "

Q: How do you personally in the CRT? A: "I think they are the future. By now you must open a road and follow this path, given how new regulations imposed by Dorna. Personally I believe a lot in this project, and I am convinced that the teams should begin to have the bikes on the property, working with their forces, with the professionalism and experience of its engineers. It is clear that fighting with the official team will be very difficult, because in addition to their budgets have a wealth of knowledge appropriate to put on the track bike definitely more efficient. With the advent of CRT, the team is obliged to manage the prototype, and the question to know the electronic engines, for example. It is definitely a difficult step but very exciting. "

Q: How will it change now your role within the team? R: "will certainly take much longer, because before we had a single partner, Ducati, who gave us the bike, leaving it to us to manage it for the duration of season. Now, with the advent of CRT, we must think of a more comprehensive management of the prototype, and then dedicating the theme engines, chassis, electronics, suspensions ... will therefore be administered to 360 degrees, with the difficulty of the case attached. From 5 years in command of the red Ducati, the manager has been able to interpret the demands of the market by embracing new ways of doing motion, by changing the route to all Ducati to ride the wave of the crisis without plunging into its depths. There is some merit in this, and the numbers prove it.

"Despite the crisis, for us in 2011 was a record year, during which we have been constantly growing. Compared to 2010 we totolazzato a +21% in our turnover, 42,200 registered motorcycles (80% on the previous year) and saw our market share by two percentage points widening. " Del Torchio said.

Growth in the state by state is impossible to overlook the value of the United States, which have overtaken Italy and became the target market for Ducati: "The penetration of foreign markets is an integral part of the Ducati a long time. The Ducati parked on the streets of the U.S. compared to Japan? The difference is overwhelming to us 10 to 0. It 'a success that we managed to get the U.S. market, which makes us proud and that adds to +30% in Germany and the doubling in the Far East. In Italy, of course, things went less well (-5% compared to last year) but the decline was still much lower than the market as a whole (20% approximately). Valentino Rossi , Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella and Marc Gene were the protagonists of kart races and Fiat 500 that have wowed the public come in large numbers to greet the pilots of Ducati and Ferrari.

Nicky Hayden , recovering from an injury, has given the wheel trusted friend of Valentino, "Uccio" Salucci. Valentino won the race karts and finished second in the car behind Felipe Massa ahead of Fernando Alonso.

"Beautiful, beautiful indeed, - said shortly Valentino Rossi - With the karts I always train in the summer and it was great to turn on the ice, because this year was much colder than last year and has held up well. Felipe (Massa) was faster in the car but it was a great evening, I enjoyed it very much. That changes in 2012 with the Diavel AMG Special Edition, the first mechanical mash-up between the two performance powerhouses. Revealed at September’s 64th International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany, Ducati describes the model as a “two-wheeled tribute to the AMG luxury-sport brand.”

Unlike Mercedes AMG automobiles that offer significant performance and handling upgrades, the Diavel AMG is unfortunately just a cosmetic exercise. The Special Edition adds AMG’s signature five-spoke wheels, carbon-fiber radiator grills with aluminum trim, an AMG-styled exhaust system and a special ribbed seat upholstered in Alcantara. The Testastretta engine remains unchanged.

In addition to AMG branding and a numbered plaque on the fuel tank, each Special Edition Diavel will have its cam timing “authenticated” by an engine technician whose name is then engraved on the left-side engine case—a charming if trivial touch, since the cam timing of every Ducati is set by hand. If you can’t afford the Diavel AMG, a line of coordinating leather jackets and helmets will be available for “passionate connoisseurs of technology, engineering detail and exclusive style.” Pricing or production numbers weren’t available at press time, but if you want a special-edition Diavel you had best act quickly. The Diavel sold out in America in 2011, and demand is expected to be just as strong next year.

The three-rider team combines experience and youth and is to be spearheaded by Sandro Cortese of Germany. Arthur Sissis of Australia and British rider Danny Kent join Cortese in the KTM factory team.

Cortese is coming off a very successful 2011 season in the 125 cc class, which has now been phased out in favor of Moto3. The German rider won two GPs in 2011 and was on the podium on four other occasions for his three second places and one third place to finish the season in a commanding fourth overall. Sissis was a strong contender for the highly competitive Red Bull MotoGP Rookies title in 2011 but in the final race had to concede to eventual winner Lorenzo Baldassarri, who stays one more year in the Rookies Cup. Kent, who finished second in the 2010 edition of the Red Bull Rookies Cup, has already completed his rookie year in the 125 class, finishing a creditable 11th overall.

Pit Beirer, head of KTM Motorsports underlined that once again KTM relies on strong partnerships and key figures in the company's factory teams in what he says is the beginning for a strong commitment to this long term project. KTM counts on a strong partnership with Red Bull and Ajo Motorsport for the main factory team, which will run the 100% made and developed KTM bike, but also with Kalex Engineering, which is producing a parallel concept for the 250 cc single cylinder four-stroke bike to be fielded by other customer teams.

Pit Beirer: "We are very pleased to have a team manager of the high caliber of Aki Ajo in charge of KTM's Moto3 factory team. We can also be proud that someone of the managerial status of Jorge Martinez will be involved with the Kalex- KTM bike for his Moto3 team."

Ajo will have another two riders on the KTM Moto3 factory bike in parallel teams, and in total, including the customer teams running the Kalex-KTM bike there will be nine KTM Moto3 riders on the grid of the competition.

Aki Ajo: "The new season can provide some very exciting races, and naturally as a KTM Factory Team we hope to be right at the front from the start. We have a strong package so our aim is to be at the top of the new class. This is going to be a learning season for everyone but for us this is a long-term project and each year we can gain more. First priority is to establish the operations in the new class during testing, and then to keep things well coordinated and running smoothly. I feel once we get the ball rolling, the results will come."

KTM'S re-entry into the MotoGP competition in the Moto3 class is a natural progression from its longer-term commitment in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, which it has supported as bike supplier since the competition first began. This highly competitive series for younger riders provides a fast track for emerging talent to enter into road racing at top international level. It is also an indication of KTM's commitment to foster the next generation of talent in the sport, a natural extension of its "Ready to Race" philosophy.
The new Moto3 engine was first fired up on the KTM Racing test benches on August 26 and since then comprehensive testing has been carried out. He will be the pilot of this new adventure as you already work for the final bike.

Besides the French, correrrà Aleix Espargaro , who starred in MotoGP with Pramac and engaged in Moto2 last year, the team initially purchased for the middle category, and then hijacked the project Claiming Rule. We still do not know precisely the characteristics that will be made in Aspar bike, but probably will start a project that includes the hire of the platform by other teams.

"We are happy because we found a brand that can tackle a new project with us, and we think that the CRT is the future of MotoGP, that's why we want to be the first to join. As a team we will continue to grow, and after two years with a single pilot now I can have two, I am pleased to welcome Randy once again, has already raced with us in 2005, " said Spanish in MCN , which continues:

"We are confident that this is a successful project, with pilots and with the engine we have. We have always tried to put the Aprilia in our projects because we have a great value given by the victories in the smaller classes. Tributes poured in for the former Leeds, Everton, Newcastle and Bolton star.

Speed was found hanged at his home in Huntington, Cheshire, by Louise at 7am yesterday. Police said the death was not suspicious.

Speed moved into the impressive Huntington Hall, surrounded by fields, three years ago with Louise and their two sons, now aged 13 and 14.

Just over six hours after the body was discovered a silver private ambulance was seen leaving his home followed by a marked police car.

Officers said a family tribute will be released at a later date.

Close mate Robbie Savage broke down as he spoke about Speed during his 606 phone-in show on Radio 5 Live and ex-team-mate Shay Given wept during Aston Villa’s match with Swansea yesterday afternoon.

Craig Bellamy withdrew from Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City after hearing the news.

Football Focus host Dan Walker told how dad-of-two Speed was “bubbly” during filming with “no hint of a problem”.

He tweeted: “Staggered by the news of Gary Speed’s death. Was with him for most of yesterday. I genuinely cannot believe it. Thoughts with his family.

“Gary was full of life… talking about his kids, bright future with Wales, Twitter, golf. Can’t get my head round it. So sad. As he left he gave me a warm handshake and said ‘Thanks.’ I replied: ‘We might even have you on again.’”

It is thought Speed also chatted with ex-Toon team-mate Alan Shearer who was filming Match of the Day.

Shearer said: “Gary was a magnificent person, bright, fun and a wonderful family man. He lit up every room he walked into. I am proud to have been his friend and will miss him dreadfully.”

Mirror columnist Savage, who played alongside him for Wales, told how he had spoken to his pal on Saturday and he was “laughing and joking”.

Manchester United striker Michael Owen tweeted: “Just cannot believe the news regarding Gary. We waved at each other a couple of days ago dropping our kids off at school. I’m numb. He has died aged 42. So sad.

“He lived local to me and we knew his family. He leaves behind 2 sons. Tragic.”

Former Wales manager Bobby Gould, who was at the Swansea match, said: “People are just stunned. I saw John Hartson earlier and I said ‘have you heard about Gary?’ The big man just cried and cried. We cuddled each other. Gary was the ultimate professional.”

A planned silence at Swansea’s Liberty stadium turned into a minute’s applause and fans chanted: “There’s only one Gary Speed.”

Tributes, scarves and shirts were piled high at all of the home grounds of clubs Speed represented during his illustrious career.

Two bouquets were placed outside the home of Speed’s parents Roger and Carol at Queensferry on Deeside. His death was announced earlier by the Welsh FA. A statement said: “The Football Association of Wales are sad to announce the death of the national team manager Gary Speed.

“We extend our sympathies and condolences to the family.”

Neighbours Fred and Helen Hewitt told how they had a “friendly passing and waving relationship” with the popular star.

Helen said: “He was always very friendly. I can’t believe what’s happened. I can’t imagine how his wife and family are coping. I feel so sorry for them.”

Cheshire Police went to the Speeds’ home after being told about a sudden death.

A spokeswoman said: “Officers went to the scene where a 42-year-old man was found dead.

"The next of kin have been informed and have confirmed the identity of the man as Gary Speed. There are no suspicious circumstances.”

Speed was awarded an MBE last year for services to football.

He retired as a player in May 2010 and took over as Wales boss last December. In addition, the team will have two riders, Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaró.

De Puniet had the opportunity to complete two days of testing with the Aspar Team, and feelings of both sides have been magnificent. On the other hand, Valencia and Italian firm set are linked since 1996, have sealed their way four titles and seven subtitles. So the Aspar Team has decided to rely on Noale house as a supplier of engines for its new adventure CRT.

Jorge "Aspar" Martínez:

"We are convinced that this challenge will be very successful, both with the riders and the engines, which will be supplied by Aprilia. We wanted to work with the brand in this new project because of our good working relationship and for their proven capabilities in smaller categories. Our goal this year is to be the best CRT and prepare to go a step further in 2013."

Randy De Puniet:

"I am delighted to return to the Aspar Team, a team I raced with in 2005 in 250cc. I have very fond memories of that time. Together we will embark on a new challenge, CRT. I realize that this team is very competitive and will fight for the best material, in fact I have been able to train with them and the conclusions have been optimal. CRT is the future of MotoGP and I think there will be a lot of work ahead, but a very rewarding work. The goal for the next season will be to adapt as quickly as possible to the prototype, and gradually catch the front runners."

"Training in Jerez was productive and I was able to get a lot of information about the bike. It’s clear that we are still far from what the final motorcycle will be, but I'm very happy with how everything has happened. The test in Jerez gave me the opportunity to realize the enormous potential of the new concept of CRT,and I am proud to be one of the pioneering riders in this new category."

Aleix Espargaró:

"First of all, I am very excited to be on the Aspar Team, and returning to MotoGP is a big motivation for me. 2010 was quite positive for me and I would have liked to stay another year. I think for my weight and my height I can adapt well to the category and the bike."

"I am convinced that the year will go very well and I'll get great results for the Aspar Team. CRT is a completely new class, and we will initially have a lot of work, but I have chosen the Aspar Team is because I know it is a team that will face the new category very seriously. They are very professional and certainly developed a great bike. I am delighted with this new project."

Lots of ideas, for the most sought-after models on the two-wheeler market. Technology and advanced materials that have always characterized this company for more than 40 years , is committed to obtaining maximum performance from the most powerful motorcycle on the road.

For years, the relationship between Spark and Ducati has increasingly narrow. For 2012, the manufacturer of exhaust systems has paid particular attention to two particular models of the Borgo Panigale. For the Monster 1100 Evo , Spark has created a kit of standard exhaust passage, to respect the original lines of the bike, with a couple of rounds stacked silencers. The customer has the choice of silencers in carbon, titanium, stainless steel or dark style, all equipped with a conical cap in brushed steel, available in both racing in the approved (with catalyst) and heat shield housing included in the kit. By replacing only the silencers can increase the power of about 4 hp.

For the "beast" of Borgo Panigale, the Ducati Diavel , Spark has created a special kit 2 in 1 in 2 that uses the first part of collectors. The exhaust has been completely redesigned with a tapered design, bad and bold. The kit includes a link to the original manifolds, the pair of silencers and heat shield cover. Also for this model are that this is the racing version homologated silencers with carbon, titanium, stainless steel and dark style. Significant weight reduction (about 5 kg) and gain of about 8 hp (for the racing version) and 6.5 for the approved version. Also available single discharge, extremely racing version. Price? From 595.00 euros + VAT. Available kits for the new Ducati Multistrada 1200.

But Spark is desired to go further, and preferred to devote their expertise to include certain other models of motorcycle. A new line of exhaust systems has been studied and designed for BMW F 800 GS and R 1200 R and R and GS . Exhaust systems also dedicated to off-road, with kits designed for motorcycles of all makes the world's largest off-road . In addition, Spark has devoted particular attention to the section dedicated to the Japanese, with the complete kit full titanium for Yamaha R6 Martini Racing Team, Champion Superstock 600 CIV. Very interesting set of universal mufflers racing , provided with a mounting system designed by the company for easy installation on all bikes. In short, there's something for everyone ... the choice is yours!

A show, a celebration, a large group fun that leaves aside the problems and the hard work for 2012, at least for a weekend. The winner was - as a logical - Sebastian Loeb, followed by a big surprise Valentino Rossi and then by Dindo Capello.

A few hours before the race, Rossi spoke of head-to-head with Capello, which took place, but certainly did not expect to be faster than Sordo and other players in the specialty. Seb Loeb was obviously impossible to take. To protect this time is the new suit created after 10 years of studies and research from Alpinestars , and it's all made in Italy! It 'was presented in Milan last week, before a large audience of journalists and the presence of the great Randy Mamola . It's called Air Race-Tech and is a suit for the last generation born track use, as it has been tested over the years even from the MotoGP riders. The peculiarities and the main feature of this suit is the built-in airbags, located at shoulder height and can reduce the possibility of damage if dropped.

The research started back in 2001, with extensive testing on the track and many other proposals. Eventually, about two years ago, Alpinestars has finally opted for a solution airbags managed by an electronic and fully autonomous (wireless system). The suit is the backbone of the entire system and allows the pilot to turn the track light, comfortable and with maximum security "shoulder" . The end result is a patented system called Dual Charge : airbag specifically designed by the shoulders and a dual charging system with cold gas ignition fireworks. In this way the rider can count on to have another chance to protection in the event of a fall and immediately return to the saddle.

At this point one would think why the Tech-Air Race is limited to the protection of the shoulders. Ten years of study served just that, and that is to be found (after a careful collection of data) that in most of the falls on the track, the pilot suffered damage mainly to the upper torso , just behind. The same technology used for the protection of the shoulders could be used in other more delicate parts of the body, but of course the increased use also means more weight, which would have greatly affected the comfort in the seat. For this reason, the innovative proposal to suit Alpinestars has been specifically designed for use only on the track.

But we go down in detail and see how this modern system. The "hump" of the suit encloses the brain of the system: a powerful microprocessor connected to a form of inflation and powered by an internal battery. The module is in turn connected to two airbags fitted at the shoulders and placed the same way as normal rigid protection.

The system to be activated, based on the movements of the pilot. Once he got into the saddle and start walking, the microprocessor weapon system that begins to exchange data with sensors placed on the arms and legs. If the movements of the driver exceeds a predetermined level by the microprocessor, the system is activated immediately and the airbag inflates with 2.8 liters of gas in just 45 milliseconds , and keeps them inflated for 5 seconds. If, following a fall, the pilot wants to go back in the saddle and continue the race, the system takes only 60 seconds to fully recharge, and fails to protect the shoulders of the pilot in case of a subsequent fall. The system features up to 8 hours and is recharged via a regular electrical outlet.

Of course, the driver is constantly informed about the status of the system once activated. Thanks to an interface LED located on the left forearm of the suit, the pilot is informed of the charge levels and any system failures. Of course all this technology comes at a price: Alpinestars this innovative system offers protection to Euro 6000. Certainly not "peanuts" , but the value is truly remarkable. Thinking a moment, what is a professional pilot for a scapula, clavicle dislocated or fractured? We all know how this can affect a championship, so we might as well make a little 'teeth and deal with some spending more, getting more protection on the track with the full support of Alpinestars Tech Air Support Team.

The new model finds its roots in the Borgo Panigale (pronounced "Pan-ee-gah-lee") area of Bologna - an Italian territory known as "Motor Valley". The money raised at the event will help mobilise more health workers with reliable motorcycles so they can deliver lifesaving health care to remote rural communities.

Despite the rain, dedicated fans were able to walk down the pit-lane and see MotoGP teams in their garages gearing up for the final race of the 2011 season. The riders generously gave up their time to sign autographs and pose for photos with the local fans.

Lucky ticket holders were given the rare opportunity to ride around the Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo Circuit. Leading the three lap ride-in was Riders’ co-founder, Randy Mamola. Randy was also joined by Red Dwarf actor Danny John-Jules, BBC MotoGP presenter Matt Roberts and Yamaha dealer Steve Keys. Having left London five days earlier, the trio arrived at the circuit to complete their Viva Valencia motorcycle adventure in aid of Riders for Health. For more information or to support the Viva Valencia trip, visit <a href="http://www.motoventures.co.uk/" target=_blank">www.motoventures.co.uk.

The highlight of the day was the famous Riders for Health MotoGP auction. Stars from all three racing classes took to the stage to auction off signed t-shirts, caps, racing boots and gloves. MotoGP riders Dani Pedrosa, Hector Barberà, Toni Elías and Alvaro Bautista were popular with the crowd while, from Moto2, Marc Márquez, Aleix Espargaró, Julián Simón, Esteve Rabat and Pol Espargaró came to show their support, as well as 125 riders Nico Terol, Maverick Viñales and Efrén Vázquez.

Dani Pedrosa was joined on stage by two female fans who read a moving letter in memory of MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli who was tragically killed in a racing accident at the Malaysian GP. Everyone in the crowd was in agreement when the girls said Marco’s untimely death was a loss to the whole motorsport community.

Riders for Health would like to thank all the teams, riders, circuits and everyone at MotoGP for their support throughout the season. It is thanks to the support of MotoGP that Riders for Health are able to provide access to health care for over 10 million men, women and children across rural Africa.
