I personally think Escalayer look very sexy in this new outfit, probably going to try to keep her in it for a while…. what’s more important though is that after 24hours+, there has not been any evidence of staining!  So this is a safe outfit to keep your girls in for long term!

And finally, I have a little announcement to make… if you are a regular visitor of this site, you might have noticed some slight difference I have made to the front page… that’s right, I have decided to jump on the bandwagon of facebook and twitter!  Why? you ask?  Since I have never been a real trendy guy?  Have I gone crazy to think people care about what I do?  Yes, while I am pretty adamant about not following the trend just for the sake of following it but after a long conversation with Danny about the potential of using facebook and twitter and its social network as a vehicle to distribute my website content, may it be Dollfie Dream photo shoot or another eroge game summary, to a bigger audience and potentially make more friends who share my interest, it would be silly for me to not give it a try!

Some of you might have recalled that I began playing Fortune Arterial in January, and as I got familiar with the story and the main characters, it became painfully obvious to me that I have to take Kiriha home somehow.  I have always liked the look of Kiriha but due to the lack of understanding of her story, I decided to pass on her when I saw her auctions last year.  What a costly mistake that was!  In fact, Kiriha had just become my most expensive daughter to-date, surpassing the almighty Saber.

Since Kiriha is among one of the rarest Dollfie Dream in the auction market, I knew I have to put some extraordinary effort into searching for her, so I spent the past month or so perfecting my search technique; at one point, I was even temp. banned from using the Yahoo Japan Auction search due to my excessive query into their system LOL.  All that aside, my real benefit from searching for Kiriha this time is my new search technique, which allows me to set a variety of search parameters and have the results delivered to me periodically, really improved my odds keeping tracks of things I care about in the future!  And here is a sample screen of my search result!

So while I would like to go over all the background story for Kiriha from the game, but it’s very difficult without first going through the Erika arc first; so I will be taking my time to put together the summary for Fortune Arterial, voted the best eroge game in 2008!  In the mean time, allow me to share some of the pictures of Kiriha for you all to enjoy~

I read some initial review of White Album, but I wasn’t too impressed with the basis of the story at the time, but a few online friends have managed to convince me to give the White Album anime that was being aired last year a try.  They thought I would take a liking into Ogata Rina 緒方理奈 because her character is quite unique and devoid of any “moe” character trait that seems to dominate the anime industry in recent years.

It didn’t take me very long to take a strong liking into Rina.  I have been watching anime for over 26 years and I rarely seen any bishoujo as intriguing and as awesome as Rina was in White Album.  In my opinion, Rina is beautiful, elegant, intelligent, talented and have more balls than all the men combined in the show!  It would be a crime for me to not take a liking in a character as awesome as she is!

However, since the anime was geared toward Morikawa Yuki the main heroine, there is little hope for me to see a proper Rina arc ending so I was left with little choice but to play the original PC version of the game released back in 1998.  Needless to say, the quality of the graphics left a lot to be desired but I was more interested in the story anyway.

Now the revamped PS3 version of the game is slated to hit the street on May 27th!  I have to find a way to get myself a copy of the game!

Today is special occasion for Feena because the long sought after Mashiro Mito alternate wig from Dolpa 22 has finally arrived!  Obviously I have to have Feena put it on right the way!  More under the cut~

Even though Feena is my 4th daughter, she has arguably the least amount of camera exposure among my 10 girls… why?  Because her Volks default wig is just not good enough, any close up shots on her head would inevitably reveal the flaw underneath it… in order to help hold Feena’s crown in place, Volks decided to plant a bunch of short frizzy hair underneath the top layer to make the wig thicker.  While it might have helped to hold the crown, it compromised her overall appearances.  I have bid on a separate Feena limited wig and the result was nearly identical… so I gave up until I saw the Mashiro Mito’s alternate wig in the Hakama set, I knew it in my heart that is one chance for me to give Feena a new face under the spotlight.  I tried to enter the lottery for both USA and After Event, but due to the lack of appeal of the other limited items from Dolpa 22, I believe majority of the people went for the Hakama set thus making it extremely hard to come by.  The after market price for the Hakama set doubled immediately after the event and I wasn’t willing to pay that much money for it since I am only really interested in the wig itself.  I waited and waited and finally, I found an auction with the wig by itself.  I am very happy that Feena finally has a wig that she can be proud of!

From this day henceforth, Feena is no longer my closet daughter!

Next up are the twintail wig I acquired from Miruya.com!  Ever since I spotted the K’s D・Dream Studio website last year, I am been wanting that twintails wig that Natsuki wore in the picture.

And I finally was able to find it a few weeks ago, ordered a dark grey and an ivory ones and had our resident cosplay queen try out the wig immediately.

Next up is the Pia Carrot 3 Floral Mint costume!!!  Does Pia Carrot 3 ring a bell to you?  If you don’t… that’s ok… but if you know what I am talking about, then you are probably one of those I consider as “seasoned vet” in the eroge game industry.  Rated as one of the best eroge games in 2001 (you have to be an old timer to know this stuff though ).  The Pia Carrot franchise from Fandc was one of the earliest AVG+SLG dating simulation game beside Doukyusei franchise from Elf Corporation available in the Windows platform.  In 2005, Azone International released 60cm costume for two of the costume design used in Pia Carrot 3, needless to say, I have to get my hands on them!  This foral mint costume is a crucial element for my upcoming “Harem Maid Cafe” photo shoot!  I had to fight tooth and nail for this auction since this is one of the rarest items in YJA and always attract a lot of attentions!

The next 3 items are related to well known Erika Sendo from Fortune Arterial!  If you had been following my blog, or knew what I was doing in most part of January, I probably don’t need to explain why the Erika limited wig, Erika plain clothes and the Erika full size microfiber towel doing here now do I? lol

I have always been fond of the Volks’ french maid costume design for Asuka and I thought wouldn’t it be wonderful if I can get my hands on the Rei color as well?  Another crucial element for my “Harem Maid Cafe” setup!

I have always said I am a Rin fan and I have always said Rin deserves more attention than she is getting.  I have generally lived up to my words and put them into action, such as adopting Rin as my 5th daughter, acquiring her 1:1 scale wallscroll all the way from Japan, etc.  So when I found out that there is a new portrait book dedicated for Rin, I wasted little time to try to get my hands on it!

That’s a whole lot of stuff in one haul!  My saving account is going to take a huge dent next month as well since it’s time to pay up for the White Album Dollfie Dream, so I probably have to scale back on the auction activities….

The dress came well packaged and is lined with white cloth all the way inside so I don’t think I have to worry about staining, but I will do my due diligence and inspect Escalayer after 24 hours~
