I have one thing to say about the wedding of this adorable couple – mini donuts! I can’t think of a better way to end a reception than passing out bite size pastries to all of your guests (really, who doesn’t love a donut?)  Lisa and Seth were married in Minneapolis on a gorgeous Fall day, in a event that is full of understated simplicity.  Lisa’s dress is so perfectly classic and I love the single blooms in small glass vessels set up throughout the reception – a perfect way to achieve a romantic feeling without spending a chunk of your budget on blooms.

I adore these faux bois invitations from Magpie Paperworks!  They even include a custom sash that you can choose from three options of natural fibers.  And don’t miss the wording – who wouldn’t want the phrase “is madly in love with” included on their invites?  Perfect!

Whether you are looking for a cute (and personal) way to package your bridesmaids gifts or a unique way to put some goodies into the rooms of your out of town guests, I love a good tote at a wedding!  There are a lot of adorable options that can be found at reasonable prices, or you can go the DIY route and make some yourself.  I opted to make my own for our wedding using a stencil which you can see in this post.  But to be honest, I think the items pictured above are much cuter than what I made!

Beth and Michael both work in book publishing and hosted their gorgeous fall wedding at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Connecticut.  Despite some rain on their wedding day (good luck, right?) it’s clear from the gorgeous images that their joy wasn’t dampened at all.  Aren’t those dahlia’s gorgeous?

The weather is finally starting to cool off in North Carolina and this gorgeous wedding in the foothills of Idaho is getting me in the mood for fall! Ashley & Brian’s closest friends and family all hiked up a path to the top of a hill in the gorgeous Boise Foothills (that happens to sit right behind the groom’s family home) for their intimate nuptials.  Brian’s brother performed the ceremony and asked all of the guests to step in close around the couple as they said their vows.  After the ceremony, guests rallied back down the hill and enjoyed a cocktail hour where gourmet appetizers were passed and everyone could enjoy an oyster bar along with the couple’s signature Mojitos.  The bold fall colors were such a lovely choice and look at their gorgeous dog keeping watch over the ceremony – he even has a matching collar!

I love a bold color choice when it comes to bridesmaids dresses, and this bright yellow is no exception!  The bride’s ruffled collar bolero also adds such a fun vibe to the look of her dress.  This is certainly a wedding with no shortage of ruffles!
