This is an awareness post for all Indian citizens:

Our Indians’ Money - 70, 00,000 Crores Rupees In Swiss Bank

1) Yes, 70 lakhs crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks. This is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries of the world, as if India is the champion of Black Money.

2) Swiss Government has officially written to Indian Government that they are willing to inform the details of holders of 70 lakh crore rupees in their Banks, if Indian Government officially asks them.

3) On 22-5-08, this news has already been published in The Times of India and other Newspapers based on Swiss Government’s official letter to Indian Government.

4) But the Indian Government has not sent any official enquiry to Switzerland for details of money which has been sent outside India between 1947 to 2008.. The opposition party is also equally not interested in doing so because most of the amount is owned by politicians and it is every Indian’s money.

5) This money belongs to our country. From these funds we can repay 13 times of our country’s foreign debt. The interest alone can take care of the Center’s yearly budget. People need not pay any taxes and we can pay Rs. 1 lakh to each of 45 crore poor families.

6) Let us imagine, if Swiss Bank is holding Rs. 70 lakh Crores, then how much money is lying in other 69 Banks? How much they have deprived the Indian people? Just think, if the Account holder dies, the bank becomes the owner of the funds in his account.

7) Are these people totally ignorant about the philosophy of Karma? What will this ill-gotten wealth do to them and their families when they own/use such money, generated out of corruption and exploitation?

Indian people have read and have known about these facts. But the helpless people have neither time nor inclination to do anything in the matter. This is like “a new freedom struggle” and we will have to fight this.

9) This money is the result of our sweat and blood.. The wealth generated and earned after putting in lots of mental and physical efforts by Indian people must be brought back to our country.

Yes of course, the disease and its effects are threatening us day by day!

But, let us spend a few minutes in thinking if we can contribute at least a very minor percentage in reducing the risk of spreading the disease.

What do we do to prevent common cold? Teach children to cover their nose and mouth while coughing or sneezing? That’s exactly what matters most in the case of Swine flu also as it spreads similar to common cold.

Protect your children:
A fact about Swine Flu that most doctors across the globe agree is that - Children are more prone to this disease than the elderly just because of the fact that older people being exposed to various viruses along all these years have a stronger immunity system. So people, unless for necessary unavoidable reasons why not avoid taking children out to crowded areas just for fun?
I can even witness people taking their few months old babies to the hotel along with them just for the reason - enjoyment. Are they not aware of the danger that the baby (or themselves) are subjected to?
Its better to have safe fun rather than enjoy just to regret, right? - At least for the sake of the children!

Live and let live:
It is always a good practice to close your nose and mouth while coughing or sneezing. If not for you it will do a world of good for people around you. This measure holds good in the case of swine flu too. These good practices are taught in schools but as years go by small little goody goody things taught in school are almost forgotten.
Recently I happened to see a college lecturer while traveling by train. He is not connected to Swine flu but the fact that attracted my attention or rather irritated me to the core was the fact that he didn’t bother to cover his face while sneezing. He continued to do this at least a couple of times. There were so many other passengers sitting alongside. Isn’t it basic manners that everyone has to follow? This is not just one occurrence of this incident. Even in the railway station I came across quite a few people who never bothered about their co-passengers and stood there sneezing and coughing as if they were standing isolated in a room. Even illiterates should know this fact out of sheer common sense. But a lecturer or other educated people misguiding the society? What shall we name them? Educated idiots?

These kind of small deeds is what will contribute more towards reducing the spread of such epidemics.
In Tamil there is a saying - ‘Siru thuli peru vellam’ - meaning small droplets join together to constitute big water bodies. Likewise, don’t you think if each citizen makes up his mind that he will do his best and contribute to reduce the risk of spreading the disease, that will surely help?

No great actions are required. Simple lessons that we learn as kids - cleanliness, being kind to others, following good habits while at home and outside can do much towards the betterment of the nation.

I do not claim that you or I are capable of entirely stopping the disease immediately. But I am very sure that we can definitely contribute a small percentage (if not a large one) towards the betterment of the society.

Few facts about the flu:
Symptoms of the disease:
High fever
Cough and headache
Sore throat and runny nose
Muscle and joint pain
Chills and fatigue
May also include vomiting and diarrhoea

Simple preventive measures:
Keep your hands clean, wash them regularly
Wear a mask while traveling
Learn to cover your mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing
Avoid frequent travels to foreign countries
Avoid crowded areas as far as possible

It was 12 when the movie started, sizzles blowed in the theatre and we can see some 1000 KV bulbs flickering in fans face. But, Everything proved to be right for Super Hero Vikram. We declare the film a HIT.

Logic Maintained :

The best part of the movie is that the logic was maintained from the first shot till the end and blend of commercial ingredients was just right. Vikram’s astounding intro with some surprise BGM kick started the movie, we could understand the story line very clearly, no punch dialogues, no double meaning dialogues , nothing. The movie was as simple as that.

Story line

Would you like to see a movie with a mixture of Sivaji, Ramana and Anniyan ? then go watch Kanthasamy

Vikram

Vikram’s style, body language as that of an IPS was perfect and more than anything else, his eyes with green lens did the most of the trick

Sreya

Except the masculine hairstyle, everything was ok

Songs :

We are sorry, too much exposed

Style :

Style of Vikram whenever he wears the mask and the mannerism supported by inspiring BGM was worth watching. And the best part of it was the fight sequence in Mexico where our hero fights with eyes and hand tied was fantastic.

Message :

The message which the film gives us is nothing new but it definetly needs some dare people like Kalaipuli S. Thanu to take the script and fund for it. Taking from the rich and giving it to the poor is not new to our films but how smart ? was the question answered here in Kanthasamy.

Vikram as a female :

Vikram’s female getup in the actually didnt do well with the crowd.

Comedy :

Vadivelu’s comedy was completely out of track and the funny part of it is that Vadivelu and Vikram will never ever meet in the film

So what next ?

Susi and Chiyan Vikram have not only given a great success but have thrown a big challenge to the upcoming mega budget movie Endhiraan of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar.

80% of Enthiran shooting is said to be over and if that 80% of it doesnt contain higher elements than Kanthasamy then it would be a big concern for Enthiran Team. Anyway, lets keep our ideas open and wait for it.

The Election Commission has now officially taken up the investigation of charges of rigging and fraud through the Electronic Voting Machines.Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla is sitting over a major scandal of a possible massive rigging of elections by manipulation of software of the Electronic Voting Machines. But for the charge levelled by a former Delhi chief secretary five years senior to him in the Indian Administrative Service cadre, Chawla would have rejected such claims of rigging.

Omesh Saigal, a 1964 batch IAS officer of the Union Territory, stunned him with a presentation to force him to order an inquiry into any possibility of such a rigging. Chawla is himself a Union Territory cadre IAS of 1969 batch.Deputy Election Commissioner Balakrishnan has been asked to conduct the inquiry on the basis of a report handed over by Saigal to the CEC, with a software he got developed to show how the elections can be rigged.Saigal, who is an Indian Institute of Technology alumni, has demanded an urgent check of the programme that runs the EVMs used in elections since 2004.

He demonstrated with his software that its manipulation ensured that one has to just key in a certain code number and that will ensure every fifth vote cast in a particular polling booth goes in favour of a certain candidate. In his letter to the CEC, Saigal alleged that the software written onto the EVMs has never been checked by the Election Commission ever since these machines were manufactured than 6-7 years back. His contention is that the EC merely relied on the certificates supplied by the manufacturers, the government-run BEL and ECIL. He alleged that these government firms had subcontracted private parties who actually provided these certificates.

“A public software audit of these machines from time to time, especially after and before an election, was a must to retain the credibility of the elections,” Saigal affirmed, demanding that for the sake of transparency names and ownerships of these private companies must be disclosed, as also the details of the factories where they were actually manufactured.

The records retained in the factories must also be immediately taken over by the EC to prevent any tampering and to facilitate an audit, he said.

He also pointed out how, after nearly two years of deliberation, Germany’s Supreme Court ruled last March that e-voting was unconstitutional because the average citizen could not be expected to understand the exact steps involved in the recording and tallying of votes. Earlier, Ireland had given up e-voting for similar reasons.

In the United States too, after considerable controversy the Federal Election Commission has come up in 2005 with detailed voting system guidelines which run into more than 400 pages.

Saigal said that it is noteworthy that not a single safeguard mentioned in these guidelines are in place in India.Saigal said he had gone into all the safeguards built into the e-voting system in India with the help of former colleagues and IT experts and finds it both ‘possible and plausible’ to rig these machines and get a crooked result. ”If the credibility of the electoral process is to be ensured, pre- and post-election checks of the software now fused onto the chips of the EVMs is a must,” Saigal said.

It is not that all the 10 lakh odd machines used in the poll need to be checked. If we take only those booths where one of the candidates has received 75 per cent of the votes and in constituencies where the margin of the winner is less than 15,000, not more than 7,000-odd machines will need to be checked.

Saigal argued in his report that “if we cannot do this we must revert to the paper ballot.”

“The need for a fair, free and transparent polling system transcends any reasons anyone may have to the contrary,” he added.
We as citizens of this great country have every right to know the truth from the Election Commission and satisfy ourselves that nothing went wrong with the voting machine.
We write this letter with heavy heart and ofcourse anger.

Recently in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore, we witnessed a minor accident between a Car and an Omni Van and both the parties were discussing the issues to solve the problem, claiming insurance for their damaged vehicles etc. Since one of the party was our friend, we also went to help to settle the issue amicably. Cops were also called to file the FIR which would enable the parties to claim the insurance and atlast the matter was solved and both parties decided to go for a compromise.

We thanked the policemen and signed off. The next day, we got a call from one of the policemen (he had got our mobile no the previous day itself) and asked us to come to Sungam. We went there and here is the conversation between ourselves and the Policeman

WE : good morning sir

Police : Good morning

WE : Thanks for the help yesterday night sir, actually we think that the other driver was drunk, but we don’t wanna make it an issue since everyone said it was our fault

Police: No No, The other driver wasn’t drunk, I checked them and ask them to exhale.

WE: Oh ok Sir, so why did you call us now sir.

Police : Yes, See guys, the other party driver and the cab belongs to a big call taxi company in Coimbatore and the owner has lot of contacts with the Inspectors and he uses his influence. I actually saved you guys, hope you noticed the special signal I gave you yesterday night not to open your mouth.

WE : Try to recollect but in vain.

Police : did you notice that or not ? (In a urgent tone )

WE : ye, ye, yesss sir..we noticed. ( Bluffing)

Police : So be careful and always remember in life not to fight with anyone or open your mouth when it most mattered.

WE : Oh yes, Sure Sir ( Blood boiling)

Police : Ok, its time for me to go, PLEASE DO THE FORMALITIES, SI (sub inspector) IS WAITING .

WE : What formalities sir ? do we have to produce any documents ( just kidd’d, even though we know the plot)

Police : What ? you dont know the formalities ? just give us some money.

WE : Took Rs 300 and gave

Police : This is not even enough for my petrol, moreover This will be eaten up by the SI too ..give some 200 more

WE : Gave another 200 rs so total of 500 rs

Police : Ok, I am leaving, have my number and contact me for any urgency and always remember in life that Wife, Car and house are GOD’s gift and you are a lucky guy to have a car of your own. I am 49 years old and still I couldnt buy a car and am still saving money!

Bye

WE : Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Everyone knows that this not something new that is happening in Coimbatore. Traffic police giving dummy reasons to get bribe and so on..but calling us the next day and asking us to do the FORMALITIES - stupid word is something unacceptable. In this juncture we also want to stress a point that there was another police man in the spot of accident, who was very very genuine.

We dont wanna complain about all cops neither do we want to compromise on unethical cops like the above. So what shall we do…? atleast we have a blog to out pour our feelings and get our stress released through these words, but what will others do ? Will Coimbatore Police dept shed some light on these issues ? Will TRAFFIC POLICE BRIBERY STOP IN COIMBATORE ? LETS WAIT..WAIT..WAIT…AND IF POSSIBLE SEE ..BEFORE WE DIE

The last which we witnessed as a horror movie was Prashanth’s “Shock” which was the remake of the hindi super hit film “Booth”. That film didnt do well. Having all these in mind and without expectations we went to yavarum nalam for the sole reason - P.C.SRIRAM.

But, we seriously didnt know that there was more brain twisting screenplay waiting for us. Wow! what a film it was, after a looooooooong time, we witnessed a mindblogging screenplay, perfect fitting BGM, excellent casting, unbelievable yet interesting logic and much more. The best point which impressed us is the narration style in screen play, i.e. everytime we guess something in the film, it went wrong for us (not only for us, for most of the viewers too .. he he he) and the next phase which was impressive was the suspense element, the screenplay had enough scope for twisting the audience mind in creating a doubt on several cast leaving us gasping on the climax. Ghost inside the Television concept - eventhough looked weird in the beginning , the screenplay made us comfortable. Special applause to the director for trying a dare DEVIL script and note that this director has bounced back after a failure of his first film ALAI starring Simbu and Trisha.

Madhavan justified his role by his mature facial expressions and his regular stints. We heard that this is the only tamil movie which has sold its copyrights to holywood.

Critics:

ok, we appreciate the splendid efforts of the 13 B crew , but wanna say few points on where they could have blown it off,

1. The blood spilling like 13 in the first half was bit comic.

2. Songs inbetween was a real mess in bringing the audience pulse down and we feel that films of this calibre dont require songs at all.

Thats it !

Special note from the Wing 16 team

Aspiring screen play writers, directors , kindly watch this movie to get a gist of real quality .

With tournament well into its second year, its time we analyze the brain child of Mr.Lalit Modi.

As the modern man’s searches for 25:00 hrs in his watch, the game of cricket has also progressed. The invent of 20 -20 cricket has made many think the days of test matches are being counted ,interestingly test matches that have a meaning full day 5 (if we get to it J) are reducing rapidly .

If 20-20 cricket has changed the way cricket has been played, IPL has given the game a glamorous touch. IPL is the complete marketing package that ICC needs to make cricket a true global game. It’s has become such a mega event where the old war horses are there for another lap of honor and new foal are set for their first race in the big league.

The first IPL season had thrown us some new stars and had really made our blood pressure rise to the maximum. Most of the first season’s success can be attributed to the city rivalry factor and the tournament freshness. The film world connection can’t also be ignored with owners like SRK, Preeti and all other teams having one film star as brand ambassador.

It’s no surprise that an event of such caliber has come with its heavy pricing. The amount of money involved in the club ownership, player transfer, sponsorship, and media rights etc. have been nothing short of mind boggling.

KISS: The world’s richest cricket board has yet again come up with a strong weapon which would strengthen its dominance over ICC.

Topic of the day is the criminalisation of politics and urgent need to change the Representation of People’s Act and also Electoral reforms within the purview of Constitution of India. If need arises even Constitution need to be amended to suit the above requirement.

The whole idea of the above thinking is that India shall be ruled by persons of integrity, honesty and patriotism. No criminal shall find a place inside Parliament or Assembly. With above background the following reforms are suggested.

 1. There shall not be pre-poll alliances. Every party should contest elections only individually.

Major Benefit: Opportunistic politics and corruption will be eradicated.

2. Rules on persons with criminal background and records shall be made strict in such a manner that none of the relatives as defined in Companies Act, 1956 are eligible to contest elections.

Major Benefit: Indirect entry of persons with criminal background is restricted.

3. Persons who, either himself or his relatives, are having any dues to the government, or having unpaid bank loans should be prohibited from contesting.

Public are electing their representatives to manage their vast country. Such person should not be from the family of a defaulter either to government or to a bank.

Major Benefit: We can have persons of financial discipline at the helm of affairs in the government.

4. When an MP or MLA resigns the seat, due to any reason, he shall not be eligible to contest in any election for the next 10 years from that dateand he shall not be allowed to canvass for any candidate for the next 10 years from that date.

Major Benefit: Opportunistic politics is curtailed to a certain extent.

5. When an MP or MLA switches his loyalty to other party in the normal course he loses his seat. But this is not enough. He shall be prohibited to contest any elections for the next 10 years.

Major Benefit: Unprincipled floor crossing is curtailed.

6. There must be compulsory attendance inside the house for a minimum number of days. Mere signing the attendance register kept outside the hall and leaving shall be stopped forthwith. Crores of money is being spent to conduct elections and for conducting Lok Sabha sessions and it is the duty of the elected members to carry out their duties by taking active part in the proceedings. It is unfortunate the practice of just signing and not attending has not been spoken about by anybody. Minimum number of ACTUAL attendance is absolutely essential for the success of democracy.

Major Benefit: When the members are inside, they will be forced to take part in debates and will have time to raise issues of public interest in the parliament or assembly

7. Now votes are not polled for an individual. They are polled only to the party. Under the circumstances when a sitting MP or MLA dies there shall not be By-election. Power shall be vested with the party to whom the MP or MLA belong to nominate a person from their party to become conferred MP or MLA.

Major Benefit: Conducting an election and its connected costs, problems etc are completely avoided.

The above suggestions may sound new. But taking into account the present political situation one should give a serious thought to the above areas and suggestion given. The effects of floor crossing, resignation, death and consequent problem of conducting fresh elections and election related cost and problems can be totally avoided if such amendments are brought in .

Hope this message reaches the persons at the helm of affairs. Jai Hind

Whether it is national parties like Congress and BJP or regional parties like DMK, AIADMK and other smaller parties, the position is the same. They dare not contest elections alone.

By taking the decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections without any alliance, once again, Vijaykanth has increased his popularity in Tamil Nadu politics.

Vijaykanth has proved that he cannot be attracted by big brothers so easily. But the moot question is whether he can attract victory towards him as his name contains victory as well as magnet. One can be sure that Captain is laying a very strong foundation to his party which will pay in the long run if not immediately.

Vijaykanth should also understand that equations are changing all over India and coalition politics, pre as well as post, has come to stay.

If at all he wants to show a respectable show, he may have to allign with other parties or he can lead an alliance. This he can keep in his mind and reserve it for 2011 which is not far off. One should understand that PMK and MDMK have not improved their status only because of their inability to lead. They have time and again shown to the electorates that they are born followers without any principle and are not born to lead.

DMDK has got a leader who seems to be a leader not a follower. If properly planned right now, one can see DMDK emerging as a decider party in 2011.

Current Lok Sabha elections will throw more light on the status of various parties vis a vis DMDK. Till then let us wait.
