Recently, Build 7068 of Windows 7 was leaked online, and now we get a couple of screnshots of Build 7070. Check them out below, as well as the post made by the leaker.

I just came back from Microsoft, since my Dad works there. He works for in the SQL server division and here are some screenshots I took about the new build 7070.

I don’t know if there is anything new to this build, but they installed it yesterday, so it probably will be leaked soon. They said it was a major update; maybe not to the user interface but more to the Kernel. Just letting you guys know.

Here is how you can change the taskbar so you can see the text displayed under the icons, just like it was in Windows XP and Vista.

The default setting of Windows 7 will only show the icon in the taskbar, with no text under it. So, if you don’t know what the icon means, things can get a little confusing. If you want to change to the old way, here is how you do it.

1. First, move the mouse cursor to an empty area of the taskbar, then right click and select Properties.

2. In the Properties area you will see the window below. Match the settings to what the screenshots shows. Instead of “Always combine, hide labels”, choose “Never combine” from the dropdown menu.

3. Click OK and you will see the results.
