I am now have Fight Like a Girl Shirts in my Salon. For every shirt I sell, I give back to the American Cancer Services for Patient Services. This program is free and helps local cancer patients with needs. Contact your local American Cancer Society to find out what is in your area.

My business

What a year. I love my job..I am so thankful to be able to share that fact. I feel blessed with my clients from Heritage Woods, my outside clients and my hair loss clients. I have never felt so love and supported in my profession. The referrals I recieve from our local hospitals and doctors overwhelms me. I thank God everyday and I asked to touch others through him. I don't want to let the big guy down.....SO.....I'm on a mission that know women should have a bad hair day..

Remember to enjoy one day at a time. Think of others and be thankful. Stop and look at the positives in life. They are there everyday in your life....it's your choice if you want to find them. Forgiveness....a big one.....the last perfect person died on a cross. Don't sweat the small stuff because it's all same stuff. I recommend everyone reads that book. May 2010 be full of many blessing for you and your family..Cindy

I have now entered the world of blogging...wish me luck everyone. Today was exciting. I got to meet Dr Jacqueline Jeruss and the research staff at Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, 303 E Superior St, Chicago, IL 60611. Jackie gave breast cancer 101. I learn how complex breast cancer is. Let's just say it's like putting together a puzzle but the pieces keep changing on you. Cancer is truly not a simple disease.....what works for one patient may fail on the next. We need to keep the funding for research coming.

Enzyme Suppresses Breast Cancer

Here is some new news just put out.

Japanese scientists have discovered an enzyme they say appears to suppress breast cancer.

The researchers say they injected human breast cancer cells into mice, some with and some without the enzyme.

The result was tumors in mice with the enzyme were far smaller than those without.

More research is needed but those working on the project have concluded the protein at least prevents breast tumor growth and its spread.
