2064: Computer Technician I - Technology Services

Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools requires a temporary full-time Computer Technician 1 commencing April 1, 2010.

Incumbents typically provide phone and desktop support to users, plan, implement, and troubleshoot hardware and software

Preference may be given to candidates possessing the following qualifications:

Ability to configure, setup and maintain computers, peripherals and software
Ability to troubleshooting hardware and software
1+ years experience with computer imaging software
1+ years experience with Windows XP Professional
1+ years experience with Microsoft Office 2003 Products
Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2003 networks
Recent graduate from a Technical College or related experience
An ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possess reliable transportation

2002: RELIEF CUSTODIANS

Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools requires relief cleaning staff to work on call at various school sites. The starting hourly rate of pay is $13.53/hour with additional pay for shift differential. Relief positions also provide opportunities for regular employment and advancement.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

A. Training and/or experience in housekeeping is an asset;

B. Interpersonal and communication skills are required;

C. Employment is conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check which is assessed on an individual basis;

D. WHMIS Training Certificate (will provide training)
