You see our submission email has been bombarded with every idiot with a mix tape…probably ever. Do they bother to read the submission page and follow the steps? No. They just want to fill our email box with an awful mixtape download links and 20mb photos. As if we really want to how “hard” you look to determine if we want to play your track.

In fact…if there is a radio station out there that picks a song based on how “hard” you look is that really a station you want to be on?

Well idiots who send us mix tape packages and don’t bother to read our submission steps…if you want to be on a station where some dude judges you on how hard you are in a pic then maybe you have some serious questions to ask yourself…because if I can speak for Dave and Boomer it’s to say that WestSideWill Radio doesn’t care if you are “hard” dude…while some dudes might…and that’s cool for them…we do not.

And the same goes for idiots who own a label and send us FULL ALBUMS of SIGNED BANDS. What about an unsigned artist showcase confused you? And what about 1 song per artist per week confused you? It appears as if LOTS is the answer to both of those questions. Then you decide that not only do we deserve the whole album of a signed band…but also a group photo of all of your artists…and their logos. Again…I question what made you think that was a good idea.

Honestly this is a subject that gets me personally fired up because good, unsigned, talent isn’t getting the chance to submit a song because every hour the stupid mailbox is filled with 1000mb of spammy crap.

Remember at WestSideWill Radio we play everything…only if you take the time to read the submission page and follow the easy steps. Seriously…if the steps are too hard for you then maybe … just maybe…the internet isn’t for you.
