Red Dead Redemption II | Ep. 14 – Keep Riding. Don’t Look Back

The frontier journey continues with hard roads, difficult choices, and a world that never stops moving forward.

After a month away from Red Dead Redemption 2, stepping back into Arthur Morgan’s boots felt a little like waking up from a long ride with no memory of where you left the horse. We loaded into the far north of the map, miles away from where we actually needed to be, staring across some of the most beautiful scenery in gaming and wondering one very important question: why on earth were we up here?

That mystery quickly turned into another long journey across the frontier. With no fast travel in this playthrough, every mile had to be earned, giving us plenty of opportunities to soak in the landscapes, get distracted by strange discoveries, and somehow find ourselves in situations that were never part of the original plan.

🌄 About the Game

Red Dead Redemption 2 places players in the role of Arthur Morgan, senior member of the Van der Linde Gang, as they struggle to survive in a rapidly changing America.

Outlaws, bounty hunters, rival families, federal agents, and shifting loyalties all collide across one of the most detailed open worlds ever created. Every journey feels alive, whether you’re chasing story missions, stumbling across hidden mysteries, or simply riding through the wilderness while the world unfolds around you.

🧭 Where We Are in the Journey

Episode 14 continues our ongoing Red Dead Redemption 2 playthrough as Arthur and the gang push deeper into the tensions surrounding Rhodes and the rival families controlling the region.

After a lengthy break from the game, this stream served as both a return to the story and an opportunity to rediscover the world. While important missions awaited us in the south, curiosity repeatedly pulled us away from the main path, leading to exploration, strange encounters, and a few unexpected discoveries along the way.

🔥 What Happens in This Episode

The evening began with a long ride south from the frozen northern wilderness. The journey itself became part of the adventure, with stunning views, wildlife, and plenty of conversation with chat making every mile worthwhile.

Eventually we reached Rhodes and jumped straight into The Fine Joys of Tobacco, a mission that perfectly demonstrated why Arthur’s companions can sometimes be more dangerous than the people trying to kill him. What started as a stealthy infiltration quickly spiralled into complete chaos. After sneaking onto the Gray estate, sabotaging property, and setting the operation in motion, any hopes of a clean escape vanished almost immediately.

Instead of quietly slipping away under cover of darkness, we found ourselves charging directly through blazing tobacco fields while bullets flew from every direction. More than once it felt like the mission was actively choosing the loudest and most dangerous option possible, leaving Arthur to somehow survive the consequences.

Things calmed down briefly during Friends in Very Low Places, providing a welcome break before our attention drifted away from the main story once again.

Heading north to explore, we encountered the wonderfully peculiar Margaret and began the stranger mission He’s British, Of Course. Before long we were rounding up escaped animals from his travelling menagerie while questioning whether the “valuable emerald” reward was actually worth anything at all, or merely an impressively convincing piece of glass.

Exploration then took centre stage as we pushed into some of the last unexplored corners of the map. A visit to the Wapiti Indian Reservation tested our patience as the game insisted on slowing Arthur to an agonising walking pace. From there we attempted to reach areas beyond the map boundaries, only to discover an invisible spring-loaded barrier that firmly disagreed with our plans.

Naturally, that didn’t stop us trying.

Further north, curiosity got the better of us at Cotorra Springs. The obvious question had to be answered: what happens if you jump in? The answer turned out to be an immediate death loop, creating one of the funniest moments of the night and giving chat plenty of ammunition for jokes that continued throughout the stream.

As the adventure continued, we discovered mysterious rock carvings high on the cliffs near Whinyard Strait. Having never encountered them before, the discovery immediately sparked curiosity. Rather than rushing onward, we decided to end the evening there, planning to return next week for a closer investigation into what secrets they might be hiding.

Beyond the game itself, the stream was packed with community moments. We welcomed a fantastic raid from GeekySquidoo, shared plenty of laughs with newcomers and regulars alike, battled a malfunctioning jukebox, discussed everything from Minecraft disasters to cooking simulator catastrophes, and wrapped up the night by raiding across to OurChickenLife.

It was exactly the kind of chaotic frontier adventure that makes Red Dead Redemption 2 so memorable.

Outbound | Ep. 2 – Powered by Tea and Solar Panels

Back on the road once again, the world of Outbound opened up with another evening of cosy exploration, questionable engineering decisions, and a camper van that slowly began evolving into something far more ambitious than anyone originally intended.

What started as a peaceful journey through colourful landscapes quickly became a battle for resources, power, and common sense. Armed with tea, determination, and an ever-growing need for wood, we set out to push deeper into the world and see just how much we could transform our little mobile home.

🚐 About the Game

Outbound is a cosy survival and exploration game built around the idea of living sustainably on the move. Players travel through a vibrant open world in a customizable camper van, gathering resources, unlocking new technologies, and building a self-sufficient life powered by renewable energy.

Whether you’re installing solar panels, harvesting resources, expanding your vehicle, or simply enjoying the scenery, Outbound blends relaxation and creativity into a uniquely satisfying road-trip adventure.

🗺️ Where We Are in the Journey

This episode continues our early adventures in Outbound as we push further into the map and begin turning our humble camper into a proper mobile base.

After spending the first episode learning the basics and getting established, it’s now time to expand. New roads, new discoveries, fresh blueprints, and increasingly ambitious construction projects all start taking shape as we work toward creating a home that can survive whatever the journey throws at us.

🌲 What Happens in This Episode

The evening began with a simple goal: continue exploring and gather the resources needed to improve our camper van. Naturally, things became far more complicated than that.

Setting off along newly unlocked roads and bridges, we ventured deeper into the map searching for new locations, useful upgrades, and anything that could help us expand our rolling home. Signal towers were discovered, new blueprints were unlocked, and every corner of the landscape seemed to offer another opportunity for progress.

Very quickly, however, one resource became the star of the evening: wood.

Every fallen branch, abandoned log, and spare piece of timber suddenly became incredibly valuable. The further we travelled, the more apparent it became that our construction ambitions were rapidly outpacing our available supplies. Resource gathering soon became a constant companion throughout the journey.

Adding to the challenge was the camper’s ongoing battle with power management. At what always felt like the worst possible moment, the vehicle would find itself running low on charge. More than once, promising expeditions were interrupted by emergency scavenging runs just to keep the van moving. Combined with stubborn hills that seemed determined to stop our progress entirely, the road itself became one of the night’s biggest obstacles.

Despite those setbacks, progress continued.

New technologies unlocked and ideas began forming about how the camper could evolve. Then came the biggest milestone of the stream: access to the base-building deck.

What started as a sensible attempt to improve the vehicle quickly transformed into a glorious experiment in engineering excess. Floors appeared. Then more floors. Platforms followed. Stairs were added. Before long, the camper van was growing vertically in ways that probably weren’t part of the original design brief.

The higher the structure climbed, the more ridiculous and entertaining it became. Questions about structural integrity, weight limits, and whether any of this was remotely practical quickly gave way to a simple challenge: how high can we actually build?

The answer, as it turns out, was “until we run out of wood.”

Eventually our towering mobile construction project consumed every available resource, bringing the expansion plans to a temporary halt. The dream of an endlessly growing camper would have to wait for another day.

Unfortunately, the evening was quieter than usual on the community side, and with chat largely absent the session wrapped up earlier than planned. Even so, significant progress was made. New areas were explored, fresh blueprints were secured, major construction systems were unlocked, and the foundations for future upgrades are now firmly in place.

Most importantly, we learned that given enough building materials, no camper van is safe from becoming a multi-storey architectural experiment.

We’re continuing our ongoing feud with a concrete pump that may have achieved sentience, returning to the deadly sands of Arrakis, taking on more sniper missions in North Africa, attempting to keep fish alive in increasingly impossible situations, surviving the unforgiving frontier, wandering into danger in the Commonwealth, and ending the week with a cult comedy classic.

Sniper Elite III | Ep. 2 – Gaberoun

The North African desert is a dangerous place at the best of times, but in Sniper Elite III every dune, ruined wall, and distant ridge can become either the perfect sniper nest or the place where everything goes spectacularly wrong. Episode 2 finally takes us beyond the introductory mission and into the real campaign, where stealth, patience, and precision matter more than ever.

Of course, this is also a Dr Ravenholm stream, which means no operation survives contact with the enemy—or with chat. Between impossible deaths, low-ammo panic, plum-shot celebrations, and community chaos, what started as a carefully planned infiltration quickly became another unforgettable night in the desert.

🎯 About the Game

Sniper Elite III is a tactical third-person shooter set during World War II in North Africa. Combining stealth gameplay, open-ended mission design, and the series’ famous long-range ballistics, every encounter becomes a choice between patience and action.

Whether you’re silently eliminating targets from hundreds of metres away or scrambling to survive after an alarm goes off, the game constantly rewards careful planning while punishing mistakes. Add in the infamous X-ray kill cam and you’ve got a game built for memorable moments.

🧭 Where We Are in the Journey

This episode marks the true beginning of the campaign. While last week’s stream largely acted as a tutorial and introduction to the mechanics, Episode 2 throws us properly into the mission at Gaberoun.

With the training wheels off, the challenge now is surviving the desert, gathering intelligence, and pushing deeper into enemy territory while dealing with increasingly dangerous situations. The campaign is only just beginning, but the stakes are already rising.

⚠️ What Happens in This Episode

The mission begins with a cautious approach into the oasis as we start working our way around the map, scouting patrols and looking for opportunities to thin enemy numbers without drawing too much attention. Almost immediately, one of the stream’s favourite traditions makes its triumphant return: the legendary plum shot.

The hunt was on, and before the night was over we managed to rack up four successful plum shots. Every perfectly placed round brought celebrations from chat, while near misses and questionable hit detection sparked plenty of debate about whether the game was conspiring against us. As always, the plum counter became just as important as the mission objectives.

Despite the careful approach, things rarely stayed under control for long. A constant shortage of ammunition hung over the entire operation, forcing every shot to count. Somehow, against the odds, enemy positions kept falling one after another as we slowly pushed deeper into the map.

Unfortunately, the desert had other plans.

At one particular point in the mission we found ourselves trapped in what can only be described as a Deathloop. We cleared the area, pushed forward, and were eliminated. We repeated the exact same section, reached the same point, and somehow got Deathlooped all over again. It became one of those moments where frustration and comedy blend together until the only option is to laugh and keep going.

Then came perhaps the most painful death of the night. Victory was finally within reach when a tiny two-metre fall somehow resulted in another Deathloop courtesy of fall damage. Back to the beginning we went, forced to repeat the section all over again before eventually discovering that manual checkpoints could be created at any time. Naturally, this revelation led directly to #BlameFrodo, since reminding us to save is apparently part of his job description.

As progress continued, stealth gradually gave way to chaos. Firefights erupted, alarms sounded, and tactical retreats became necessary as enemy groups converged on our position. Just when we thought the final stretch of the mission was secure, a swarm of enemies appeared seemingly from nowhere, forcing us to fall back and carefully eliminate the threat before advancing once again.

After all the setbacks, all the repeated deaths, and all the ammunition warnings, the mission finally came to a satisfying conclusion with one last well-placed land mine.

With the desert operation complete, the stream shifted gears into some Marbles On Stream racing. What followed was exactly the kind of madness you’d expect. Mr Smith apparently decided originality was overrated and turned up with a suspiciously familiar cheese-themed marble skin. Then, as if things weren’t already questionable enough, he somehow glitched his way to victory and claimed the entire Grand Prix. Totally legitimate, we’re sure.

Throughout the evening chat kept the energy high with discussions ranging from Stargate and Dune to tattoos, butterscotch cravings, community milestones, and the ever-growing collection of Deathloop moments. The stream wrapped up with a raid over to Ashens, bringing another entertaining night to a close.

🔥 Join the Adventure Live

The desert is never quite the same twice.

Some nights everything goes according to plan. Other nights a two-metre drop becomes a career-ending injury, enemies appear from nowhere, and chat somehow turns a sniper mission into a debate about tattoos, Stargate, and giant foam fingers.

Duck Side of the Moon | Ep. 2 – Floating Through Space With Maximum Cuteness

More cozy moon adventures awaited us in this second trip through Duck Side of the Moon, but “cozy” quickly turned into complete duck-powered chaos. Between battling the UK heat wave, wrestling with controls that absolutely refused to cooperate, and chasing down stolen spaceship engines across floating islands, this stream somehow became both relaxing and completely unhinged at the same time.

There’s something strangely magical about this game though. One minute you’re drifting peacefully through space as an adorable duck exploring strange worlds, and the next you’re trying to stop an erupting volcano while chat debates whether invisible Pokémon are responsible for the disaster. Somehow, it all fits perfectly.

🌌 About the Game

Duck Side of the Moon is one of those wonderfully bizarre indie adventures that feels impossible to explain properly until you experience it yourself. You play as a stranded duck drifting through space, exploring floating islands, solving puzzles, collecting strange materials, and slowly rebuilding your damaged ship.

The game mixes cozy exploration with physics-based puzzles, quirky characters, and an almost dreamlike sense of humour. Every new location feels unpredictable, whether you’re helping island communities, navigating gravity mechanics, or stumbling into random carnival mini-games that suddenly consume half the stream.

And honestly, floating through space as a tiny duck while absurd music blares in the background is exactly the kind of energy this game thrives on.

❄️ Where We Are in the Journey

This episode picks up with our stranded duck still trying to fully recover and repair the crashed ship after the opening events of the adventure. While progress was definitely made this time around, the journey quickly evolved from a simple repair mission into a full-blown detective story involving stolen engines, erupting volcanoes, stressed dragons, and surprisingly wholesome moments hidden underneath all the chaos.

By the end of the stream, the future of our “new home world” looked very different than expected — and it’s becoming increasingly clear that this strange little galaxy has far more secrets waiting ahead.

🔥 What Happens in This Episode

The night began with immediate struggles against both the UK heat wave and the game’s controls, which continued to fight back every step of the way. Ravenholm repeatedly compared them to I Am Fish, wishing they behaved even remotely the same while attempting to reconnect damaged railway tracks needed to recover the ship’s missing engines.

After plenty of awkward gravity gadget usage and increasingly frustrated duck navigation, the repaired train finally arrived carrying what should have been the missing engines… except they turned out to be fake.

Naturally, the stream immediately transformed into a detective story.

Chat instantly began accusing every suspicious-looking passenger imaginable, with “Frodo” somehow becoming the prime suspect for absolutely everything. As Ravenholm questioned NPCs and followed increasingly strange clues, the investigation eventually revealed the truth: the engines had been stolen by a nervous character desperate to prove himself. Hidden beneath all the absurdity was a surprisingly heartfelt little story about self-worth and feeling useful — delivered, somehow, through ducks in space.

Of course, solving mysteries wasn’t enough chaos for one stream.

The adventure repeatedly detoured into the island carnival where Ravenholm tackled shooting galleries, bowling games, and ticket challenges while chat alternated between encouragement and complete mockery. The bowling section became one of the funniest disasters of the night thanks to physics that absolutely refused to cooperate. Pins somehow survived direct hits, near-perfect throws failed spectacularly, and frustration steadily increased with every impossible miss.

Eventually though, victory arrived. The hard-earned tickets were spent on ice cream for a child NPC — something chat immediately pointed out the kid probably could have earned themselves in under five minutes.

Things escalated dramatically once the volcano region erupted.

With fires breaking out across the island, Ravenholm had to use the gravity gadget to search for floating water bubbles hidden throughout the area. What should have been a straightforward rescue mission quickly turned into an extended scavenger hunt as both streamer and chat completely lost track of where the final water source was hiding.

Suggestions from chat ranged from genuinely useful directions to simply “pee on it,” which perfectly captured the overall energy of the evening.

Eventually, after searching awkward corners of the island and fighting both terrain and controls yet again, the final hidden water bubble was discovered and the town was saved from the spreading flames.

But the volcano still held one final surprise.

Inside waited a dragon who wasn’t evil, dangerous, or destructive — just deeply overwhelmed and feeling a little down. Rather than fighting the dragon, the solution became throwing him a dance party and delivering a giant cake to cheer him up. It was exactly the kind of unexpectedly wholesome nonsense this game thrives on.

Meanwhile, the stream itself continued descending into beautiful chaos. The now-infamous “cheese music” evolved into full AI-generated metal madness with VOLCANO OF CHEESE (The Fondoom Symphony) completely derailing chat. Stryker_500 compared it to a Falling In Reverse-style track while AIDA spent half the stream aggressively flirting with viewers in the background. Between Hunger Games events, Pokémon hunts, and constant commentary from Gary, Smith, JD, and the regulars, the stream never stayed focused for more than a few minutes at a time.

The community energy only got stronger when the stream was raided by asmith501, adding even more chaos to an already wonderfully cursed evening. And by the end of the night, Ravenholm returned the favour by raiding into DashDucks to continue the adventure elsewhere.

By the time the stream wrapped up, the engines had finally been recovered, the volcano town had been saved, and the crashed ship was at least partially freed… although it may also now be trapped inside a wall somehow. Most importantly though, our wandering duck finally reached what was supposed to become a brand-new home world, only to realise something unexpected:

Maybe home was already here all along.

Construction Simulator | Ep. 33 – The Concrete Pump Has Become Self-Aware

Back at the construction site, the machinery has officially stopped pretending to be normal. What should have been another productive evening in Construction Simulator quickly descended into a full-scale battle against cursed controls, rebellious equipment, and a concrete pump that seemed determined to achieve sentience before the museum build was finished.

After months of work spread across countless streams, tonight’s mission was simple on paper: finish the museum. In reality, it became another chaotic journey through physics glitches, multiplayer disasters, accidental comedy, and the kind of stream banter that somehow makes total construction mayhem feel strangely cozy.

🏗️ About the Game

Construction Simulator drops players into the world of large-scale building projects, heavy machinery, and infrastructure management. With more than 70 vehicles and construction machines to master, the game blends realistic construction tasks with the unpredictable chaos that naturally appears whenever multiplayer and physics engines collide.

From pouring foundations and operating cranes to managing roadworks and massive commercial projects, every contract feels like a balancing act between precision engineering and complete disaster. Which, honestly, is exactly why these streams have become so entertaining.

🚧 Where We Are in the Journey

Episode 33 marks the end of one of the longest-running major contracts in the series: the museum build. After many streams spent hauling materials, preparing foundations, and wrestling with construction equipment, the project is finally reaching completion.

While it initially looked like the next stop would be the Castle project, there are still several infrastructure jobs tied to the main story progression that need to be completed first. So before diving into another massive contract, next week’s stream will slow things down slightly with smaller city tasks and maintenance jobs around the map.

⚠️ What Happens in This Episode

The stream opened with Dr_Ravenholm immediately acknowledging the true enemy of the evening: the infamous concrete pump. Before long, the entire session became less about construction and more about surviving what can only be described as a demonic possession unfolding in heavy machinery form.

Most of the night revolved around pouring endless amounts of concrete into the towering support pillars of the museum build. A task that sounded straightforward rapidly evolved into a nightmare of microscopic alignment corrections, camera angles trapped inside machinery, and controls that occasionally appeared to abandon all known logic. Every successful pour felt less like construction work and more like completing some kind of industrial exorcism.

As the museum slowly started taking shape, the chaos escalated. At one point the microphone nearly went flying during a frantic attempt to reposition the pump arm, while basic left and right controls somehow transformed into a philosophical argument with the game itself. The cursed concrete pump continued to resist every effort to tame it, leading to ongoing jokes that the machine had officially become self-aware.

Multiplayer only added fuel to the fire. Mr. Smith repeatedly attempted to join the session, but Construction Simulator seemed deeply opposed to the idea of functioning as an actual multiplayer game. Players disappeared, camera modes broke, settings reset themselves, and voice chat randomly reactivated for absolutely no reason. By the halfway point, the stream had become a perfect demonstration of why virtual construction workers deserve hazard pay.

Meanwhile, chat fully embraced the madness unfolding on-screen. Stories drifted in from all directions as EntertainJD celebrated a family birthday and discussed cooling fans, while FlyingFox21 shared updates about repairing brake callipers. The stream’s Hunger Games minigame produced its own dramatic subplot, ending with Dr_Ravenholm eliminated while Jade_EC emerged victorious after absolute carnage in chat.

The distractions didn’t stop there either. Pokémon hunting contracts pulled viewers into battles against Slaking and Kyurem while concrete continued pouring in the background, somehow turning the stream into a bizarre crossover between industrial construction and monster hunting.

One of the funniest running jokes of the night centred around Mr. Smith being renamed “Grandma Smith” after holding baby Arthur earlier in the day. Despite every attempt to escape the nickname, chat refused to let it die, ensuring the joke survived for the rest of the evening.

Somewhere in the middle of all the machinery chaos, Dr_Ravenholm also revealed details about an upcoming Stargate-inspired browser game project currently in development. Featuring randomly generated worlds, rescue missions, hidden cheese levels, and retro Atari-inspired design ideas, the project immediately grabbed chat’s attention and became one of the stream’s most unexpectedly exciting conversations.

By the final stretch of the night, despite all the disasters, the museum project finally started looking complete. Concrete supplies kept flowing, another floor neared completion, and somehow the cursed machinery had been successfully exorcized long enough to push the build over the finish line. It was messy, chaotic, exhausting, hilarious, and somehow still productive — which honestly feels like the perfect description of a Dr_Ravenholm stream.

The evening wrapped up with a raid over to DashDucks, sending the surviving construction crew off into another community adventure after finally conquering the haunted concrete pump.

Gateworlds: Ancient Return — Building My Own Stargate Adventure

There are some sci-fi franchises you enjoy for a while… and then there are the ones that become part of who you are.

For me, Stargate has always been that series.

Not just in a casual sense—I’ve marathoned the entire franchise more times than I can count. It’s a constant return point. A universe I always find myself stepping back into.

And it all started with a very specific memory.

I went to see Stargate on opening night with my grandad at the old Canon Cinema in Monkseaton. That moment—the lights going down, the first activation of the gate—never really left me.

Everything that followed comes from that place: a long-standing love for the world, the characters, and the idea that somewhere out there… the gate is still spinning.

So eventually I decided to make something inspired by that feeling.

That project became Gateworlds: Ancient Return. JUMP TO PLAY

🌌 A Stargate Game Inspired by Old-School Gaming

One of the things I knew immediately was that I didn’t want the game to look modern in the traditional sense.

The visual style is heavily inspired by the first systems I ever played growing up:

the Atari 2600

the ZX Spectrum

Those machines had limitations, but they also had personality.

Games back then relied on atmosphere, imagination, colour, and abstraction in ways modern games sometimes forget. I wanted Gateworlds to feel like a strange hybrid between those old-school systems and the kind of pseudo-3D games that started appearing later in the 90s.

So the game ended up becoming this mix of:

retro sci-fi visuals

stylised low-resolution environments

chunky sprites

atmospheric lighting

procedural worlds

arcade-style gameplay

It intentionally feels like something discovered from an alternate timeline where somebody tried to make a Stargate game on retro hardware.

⚠️ From Tiny Experiment to Full Stargate Adventure

The really interesting part is how much the game changed during development.

The first versions were extremely primitive.

At one stage the player and NPCs literally looked like moving USB sticks wandering around alien landscapes. It was rough. Hilarious in hindsight, but rough.

The original worlds were incredibly simple too:

flat terrain

minimal structures

basic enemy behaviour

almost no environmental variety

very limited audio

But slowly the game kept evolving.

Every new version pushed the atmosphere further:

more detailed worlds

hostile and peaceful planets

procedural music

rescue missions

AI squadmates

maze-like interior worlds

environmental hazards

dynamic Stargates

bosses

secret worlds

pyramid biomes

SGC-inspired Earth base areas

The visual side evolved massively as well.

The characters slowly transformed from abstract stick-like figures into proper stylised sci-fi characters. Weapons became directional, enemies gained staff weapons inspired by the Goa’uld Jaffa, and the worlds started feeling far more alive.

Even the menus and title screens went through multiple redesigns before finally landing on something that genuinely felt like a Stargate game.

🏛️ Every World Beyond the Gate Feels Different

One of my favourite things about Gateworlds is that travelling through the Stargate never feels predictable.

Some worlds are quiet and atmospheric. Others become dangerous almost immediately.

You might arrive in:

dense urban ruins

flooded marshlands

volcanic wastelands

forests

crystal worlds

corridor-like interior facilities

desert pyramid worlds

ancient necropolises

The pyramid biomes ended up becoming some of my favourites because they really leaned into the Goa’uld side of Stargate mythology.

Massive pyramids dominate the skyline while giant Sphinx-like structures sit half-buried in alien sandscapes. Combined with the atmospheric music, those worlds genuinely started feeling like places you’d expect SG-1 to visit.

And then there are the bosses.

Rare elite enemies can now appear on hostile worlds. Unlike normal enemies, these towering figures can fire blasts directly from their staff weapons, turning the entire mission into a fight for survival.

The moment one appears, the tone of the level changes instantly.

🔥 Rescue Missions and Returning Home

Another feature I ended up loving was the rescue system.

Occasionally, stranded survivors appear somewhere on a world. They don’t appear on radar, so you actually have to explore and search for them properly.

Once found, they’ll begin following you back to the gate so you can escort them safely home.

What makes this especially satisfying is that rescued survivors permanently begin appearing back on Earth afterwards. The more people you save throughout a playthrough, the more populated the SGC becomes.

That small detail made the game world feel far more alive than I originally expected.

One of the coolest parts of the project is that the game can actually run directly in your browser.

The controls are intentionally arcade-inspired and simple to pick up:

WASD / Arrow Keys — Move

IJKL — Aim

J / Z / Ctrl — Shoot

Space — Use the Stargate

Your mission is to recover three pieces of Ancient technology from each world and return them safely to Earth.

Which sounds easy…

Until a hostile planet, a boss enemy, environmental hazards, and a rescue mission all collide at once.

While most of the game was developed offline, I’ve shown parts of its evolution on stream and in videos — including some of the wonderfully broken earlier builds where characters barely resembled people at all.

If you want to see the game in action, check out the gameplay video alongside this post and come join the livestreams where we talk games, sci-fi, retro gaming, technology, and whatever strange project I’m working on next.

Outbound | Ep. 1 – Warm Lights, Open Roads, Fresh Beginnings

The road finally opens up tonight as we begin an entirely new adventure in Outbound — a cozy off-grid survival road trip filled with warm sunsets, quiet exploration, and the kind of chaos that somehow always follows us wherever we go.

At least… that was the plan.

What actually unfolded was several hours of electric van disasters, broken bridges, chickens, parody songs, Stargate portals, chat descending into absolute madness, and somehow unlocking a secret Cheese World along the way. Which honestly feels like the perfect way to begin a brand-new series.

🌅 About the Game

Outbound is a relaxing open-world survival and exploration game where you slowly build a sustainable life on wheels. Instead of surviving against monsters or constant danger, the game focuses on freedom, creativity, exploration, and building the perfect camper van for life on the road.

You gather supplies, repair structures, discover blueprints, craft workstations, and generate your own power using renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind turbines. The entire experience leans heavily into cozy road-trip energy, with peaceful landscapes, slow journeys, and the freedom to travel wherever the road takes you.

Of course, once chat gets involved, even the calmest game imaginable somehow turns into complete chaos.

🛣️ Where We Are in the Journey

This stream marks the very beginning of our Outbound journey.

We started fresh with a brand-new save, created our character, customized our camper van, and took our first steps into the world. The opening hours were all about learning the systems, repairing damaged bridges, gathering resources, and beginning to transform our little van into a functioning mobile home.

It very much felt like the start of a long road trip — one where nobody really knows the route yet, but everybody’s excited to see where it leads next.

🔥 What Happens in This Episode

The stream kicked off with exactly the kind of energy longtime viewers would expect. Before Outbound even loaded properly, we opened the night with one of my ridiculous parody songs, “Let It Freeze,” which somehow turned into a dramatic anthem about freezing Scottish winters, broken heating systems, and emotionally exhausted chickens… despite the fact the entire country was currently melting in a heatwave.

Perfectly normal start to the evening.

Once we finally got into Outbound, chat immediately locked onto the camper van customization. Sadly there weren’t enough characters available for the van name I originally wanted, which meant “Bouncy Bouncy” and even “Bouncy” were both impossible. Naturally, this led us to the next best possible option: BOOBs proudly displayed across the registration plate while chat completely lost control.

From there, the road trip truly began.

We took things slowly, exploring the opening area while trying to relearn controls from the demo version I’d played months ago. The early game quickly became a wonderfully chaotic mix of scavenging supplies, setting up campsites, repairing damaged bridges, and repeatedly running out of electricity in the middle of nowhere because apparently managing an electric camper van is slightly harder than expected.

Three separate bridges were repaired throughout the journey as we slowly opened new paths forward, although every simple task somehow spiraled into another tangent. One moment we’d be collecting planks for repairs, the next chat would somehow be discussing war crimes, exploding harmonicas, giant tank models, or whether dead ends are “just better adventures.”

Completely standard livestream behaviour.

One of the best moments of the night came when my best friend Royal Tea (r0yalt3a) was able to stop by chat for a while. It genuinely made the stream feel even more relaxed and cozy while everyone settled into the start of this new adventure together.

And then things got even more derailed.

Midway through the stream, we paused Outbound entirely so I could show everyone a prototype Stargate-inspired retro game I’ve been developing for Transparent-Aluminium.net. Built with heavy Atari 2600 and ZX Spectrum vibes, the project quickly became its own accidental side adventure as chat encouraged me to keep playing “just one more level.”

What started as a quick showcase somehow evolved into a full demo involving procedurally generated worlds, suspiciously-shaped weapons, USB-stick characters travelling through portals, and eventually the discovery of the hidden Cheese World level.

Honestly, I’m not even sure how we got there anymore.

Meanwhile, chat itself had fully descended into beautiful madness. Pokémon hunting events collapsed into disaster, the Hunger Games simulator crowned Garydsteel as champion after murdering FlyingFox21 “in darkness,” and viewers somehow created entire roleplay scenarios involving workplace committees and leave request forms.

At one point the stream briefly transformed into a chicken appreciation broadcast after I introduced everyone to the newest baby chickens — Bang Bang, Popcorn, Crispy, and Scrambled — which instantly melted chat into collective emotional chaos.

By the end of the night, Outbound had become far more than just a survival game. It already felt like the beginning of a long-running road trip with friends: wandering roads under warm skies, getting distracted constantly, sharing projects, telling stories, and somehow making progress despite absolute nonsense happening every few minutes.

We wrapped things up after being raided by novzn_tv, before sending the love onward ourselves with a raid into kingironblood to continue the adventure elsewhere.

And honestly? For a first episode, it already feels like this road trip is going to become something special.

Sniper Elite III | Ep. 1 – Siege of Tobruk

A brand-new sniper campaign begins, and this time the sands of North Africa are already fighting back.

Tonight marked the beginning of our next Plumb Hunters adventure as Sniper Elite III finally arrived on the channel. What should have been a straightforward opening mission quickly spiralled into stealth kills, cursed X-ray cameras, chaotic marble tournaments, and enough conspiracy theories to keep the entire chat arguing for the rest of the night.

And honestly… it could not have been a more perfect start.

🎯 About the Game

Sniper Elite III throws players into the brutal deserts of World War II North Africa, combining stealth gameplay, long-distance sniping, and tactical freedom across huge open battlefields. Every encounter becomes a choice between patience and chaos — creeping silently through enemy camps or turning the entire map into a firefight after one badly timed shot.

Of course, the real star of the series is the legendary X-ray kill cam. Every perfectly placed sniper round has the potential to trigger one of the game’s cinematic slow-motion shots… assuming the game decides to cooperate.

And judging by tonight’s stream, cooperation may be in short supply.

🧭 Where We Are in the Journey

This episode begins the very first mission of our Sniper Elite III playthrough with the Siege of Tobruk. While the mission itself acts largely as a tutorial for the mechanics and controls, it also officially launches the next chapter of the ongoing Plumb Hunters saga after the frustrations of Sniper Elite V2.

The goal remains simple: land the perfect “Plumb Shot” with the glorious X-ray cam finally giving us the recognition we deserve.

Unfortunately, the game had other ideas.

⚠️ What Happens in This Episode

Right from the opening moments, the stream settled into that wonderfully dangerous combination of stealth gameplay and complete chaos that somehow always follows us into these campaigns.

The mission itself was surprisingly short, but Tobruk still gave us plenty to laugh about. Between testing controls on the new PC setup and figuring out some slightly questionable keybinds, the first few minutes already felt like the beginning of a very cursed adventure. Once the rifle came out though, the hunt officially began.

Sneaking through enemy positions across the North African desert felt smooth almost immediately. Guards were quietly eliminated, artillery crews disappeared one by one, and sniper nests were cleared with that slow, methodical pacing that makes Sniper Elite so satisfying to play. The problem was that the game absolutely refused to reward some of the stream’s best shots.

Our very first serious attempt at a legendary plum shot almost worked perfectly… almost.

The shot connected, the enemy folded, chat erupted… and the X-ray camera refused to trigger because apparently we only grazed the plumbs. Close enough to be painful, but not enough to count. Then somehow the next three shots landed properly, but those didn’t trigger the X-ray cam either, instantly creating the running battle of the evening between the stream and the game itself.

At that point it became personal.

Things only became funnier as enemies repeatedly failed to notice explosions, missing allies, or entire firefights happening practically beside them. One poor soldier wandered around completely oblivious while bodies vanished around him, turning the stealth sections into accidental comedy. Even the environment joined in, with some tunnel sections getting roasted by chat for looking suspiciously like old Minecraft texture packs.

One misclick during a sniper shot instantly became another running joke after the target moved at exactly the wrong moment, ruining what could have been another perfect kill cam opportunity. Every failed X-ray somehow became funnier than the last, especially with chat becoming increasingly convinced the game was deliberately sabotaging the Plumb Hunters mission.

The mission itself wrapped up far faster than expected — barely twenty minutes long — but that only opened the floodgates for even more chaos once we switched over to Marbles On Stream.

And honestly, the marble races may have been even more ridiculous than the sniper mission.

What started as a quick community game rapidly descended into complete confusion as the points system seemingly abandoned all logic. Mr. V had only just returned after spending almost two weeks in hospital and somehow immediately won the Grand Prix… without actually winning any of the four races. Naturally this led to instant accusations that the AI was rigged, cursed, bribed, or possibly all three at once.

The conspiracy theories only grew stronger as marbles bounced off walls, flew off tracks, survived impossible collisions, and somehow continued producing scoreboards that made absolutely no sense. Frodo, Striker, Happy Cat, and the rest of the regulars got dragged into the madness while we experimented with several game modes we had never tried before.

The highlight may have been the bizarre tilt-control mode where the stage itself could be manipulated in real time. What sounded like a good idea lasted only a few seconds before marbles started launching themselves into disaster zones while frantic rescue attempts unfolded across the stream.

By the end of the night, Sniper Elite III had already delivered exactly the kind of opening episode we hoped for: stealth tactics, technical chaos, endless banter, broken scoring systems, and a community fully committed to turning every moment into a joke.

And somewhere out there in the desert… those missing X-ray plum shots are still waiting.

🌙 Closing Thoughts

The first mission may be over, but the campaign is only beginning.

Tobruk gave us stealth kills, cursed X-ray cams, suspicious AI behaviour, and a marble tournament so broken it may never fully recover. Which means, naturally, we are absolutely coming back for more.

The desert is waiting… and sooner or later, those perfect plum shots are going to happen.
