After months of nothing I give you …

Photographs. Today I uploaded a couple of pages worth of recent photographic work. The bulk of the work was taken on the day of Riverfire 2009. The rest are random photographs I've taken in the last couple of months.

Otherwise as far as content for the webWICKED web site goes, I've got nothing. If you'd care to know why, read on.

Guitar wallpapers

I have added quite a few new wallpapers to the site today. And they're all in the same gallery style that I have used in the past for some of my other photographic wallpapers. All of these wallpapers are based on my guitar photography.

New web site creation

I may have removed the web gallery from the menu of webWICKED, but I still work on the occassional web design from time to time. Recently I completed a web design that began well over a year ago. And the strangest part of this project was I didn't have to create the web site's graphics.

For the first time ever, that was done for me

Browser based Twitter tools

I love Twitter. It took me much longer than most to see its good points, but I believe in better late than never As a keen Twitter follower I went looking for better ways to use the service. And as a fan of statistics, graphs and other things cool, I wanted to see how My Twitter page was doing.

The sites I found are cool. My statistics are terrible

Call for skins

I mentioned a while ago that I am no longer using Windows. This means I no longer have the capability or need to create skins for Windows based applications. I had been thinking about cataloging the skins I'd created over the years though. That was until I realised that the last hard drive crash I had wiped out any skin I'd ever made that wasn't safely stored here at webWICKED.

Now I want the skins back. Care to help me with that?

webWICKED gets smaller

My day job keeps me busy. So busy, I have little-to-no time for any other projects. Projects like new web or print design work. Knowing this is the case, I see little reason to keep the print or web galleries open here at webWICKED.

So they're both closed.

And to help me work out how many people are interested in the remaining content on webWICKED, I've implemented another small change.

Southbank photos

I spent a few hours at Southbank in South Brisbane yesterday. I managed to capture a few interesting everyday object photographs while I was there. As usual, they are in the photography gallery now. It's why I have that section on webWICKED

More free web analysis tools

I've written about some cool web analysis tools in the past and also written a small article specifically about Google Analytics. Lately I've discovered a new open source alternative to Google Analytics. It's called Piwik and I'm loving it.

I've also discovered a few web site services that will tell you the monetary value of your web site (among other things). They vary in their valuations, but can be entertaining none-the-less

47 Guitars

I've mentioned before that I haven't been uploading much in the way of skins to the webWICKED site lately. And I certainly haven't uploaded a fresh tutorial in a while—I really need to look into that. What I have been uploading from time to time is some of my photographic work. And that's been mainly guitar based.

I love my guitars.

After a conversation with a friend I started wondering. If I had limitless funds, how many guitars would I buy? Well I don't have limitless funds. But I do have the time to research guitars. And it seems the magic number for me … is 47.

Photographs from the Bundaberg region

I spent the weekend in Bundaberg and managed to take a few photographs of the area. I've uploaded the best shots to the webWICKED web site.
