With the help of Wario: Master of Disguise developer Suzak, the Tokyo based publisher made a series of straight to the gameplay DSiWare titles.

Some of their 200 DSiWare Point ($2) G.G. Series titles like Wonder Land and Dark Spirits are shooters. Others such as Black x Block and Energy Chain are puzzle games. You’ll get all of them (that’s 30 games) on a cartridge called G.G. Series Collection +. So far twenty or so G.G. Series games have been released or announced. Genterprise has to hustle if all of them are going to be online by May 27 when the compilation arrives in stores.

Unless Nintendo has something up their sleeves, G.G. Series Collection + will also be the first DSiWare collection. Maybe Skip and Q Games can follow up with an Art Style Collection for all of those Nintendo DS owners that don’t have a DSi

nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk

Datel Flashcarts

FROM HACKMII

Recently I was informed that Datel has released a new version of their Action Replay Cheat Cartridge that allows you to cheat in DS games on a DSi console. This update fixes the compatibility of the card with DSi firmware 1.4.

Two update files are included in the download. Use the DSi labeled update to update your card. However, if you have multiple Acekard 2i cards that you wish to update all in a row then run the DSL update from a DS Lite to be able to update multiple cards without powering off the system. If you only have one card just use the DSi update." - GBAtemp.net

The zip contains 2 files, one ends with DSi. You must copy this file onto your SD card and run it from your Acekard BEFORE updating to 1.4. It will prompt you and will install for about a minute. After that, your Acekard will appear to be called "Danny Phantom: Urban Jungle THQ" and will have a different picture. After this, you can safely update your DSi and still use your Acekard just like you used to on 1.3 :D

Download here

System Menu 1.4

The system menu is released in North America as well - August 4, 2009
DO NOT UPDATE if you want to keep using your flashcart !!!

System Menu 1.4

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!

Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft's Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution's Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep's Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision's Gobliiins; Westwood Studios' The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts' SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. You can find a thorough list with details on which games are supported and how well on the compatibility page.

What's New?

- Fixed a bug where the cursor would display in the wrong place when screen were swapped.
- Fixed a bug where the screens wouldn't swap back in certain cases when on a menu screen.
- Fixed a crash when returning to launcher from some games
- Fixed long pauses in Kyrandia.

Download: Here

Source: Tehskeen

DS Pack v1.4 Released

Copper has released a new version of his multiple arcade game emulator for the Nintendo DS. There are much less memory operations, and another were bastly simplified, some adjustements here and there…
I hope that the app, apart from faster, will be more stable right now since I’ve double checked the downloading process and I’ve also modified some parts that could been causing some hangs. So when the DSi was released of course everyone dreamed of the same thing for it as well. This is not an announcement of it's release, but more of a "it's being worked on" post. I don't want to get your hopes up, because so far nothing has been released, but I have a good feeling about.

QUOTE:
UPDATE 4.11.09 7:05 PM PST
- For all of you who might be thinking that they are going to test this out on a DSi flash cart, I don't think that that is possible because the DSiWare games are meant to play on a DSi, not DS, and we are making the Homebrew Channel act like a DSiWare game. That being said, the DSi Flash carts play DS games, not DSiWare. This will (most likely) have to be tested on the DSi Menu after copying it from the SD card. But first we have to figure out how the DSiWare games are coded and find out how to bypass or crack the DSiShop signature/ ticket situation. This may take a very long time.

Source: GBATemp

DSTwitter v1.3

You can see the last tweets in the Friends timeline and post your own tweets easily and quickly. One of the first ones is the Acekard 2i which is a modified version of the Acekard 2 for the DS and DSL. It will work with the past models of the DS, but if you're not looking to upgrade to the DSi then there are cheaper alternatives since the Acekard 2i is currently priced more than the Acekard 2 and other DS and DSL compatible flash carts.

Here are two reviews of the Acekard 2i:

GBATemp
ISO420

Acekard 2i by team Acekard

NOTE: Acekard 2i still works after the 1.3 update. Video Proof

ScummVMDS v13.1 BETA 5 (J Build)

AgentQ has updated his port of ScummVM a multi-game engine interpretor for the Nintendo DS.
