Lately we’re just buried with work… Between working on our secret project =D, post processing, designing albums and shooting, there seems to be no time to relax… Luckily we’re catching up on everything and hopefully we’ll be able to slow down just for a little while =). Nice relaxing short vacation would be ideal but we’ll have to see about that. For now its hard work all the way. Oh, wait, there is one day that will give us a chance to slow down a little and its actually this coming Saturday =). PDN Conference and Expo in NYC =). This should be very exciting. We attended last year and it was just great. We’ll definitely post few pictures from the conference and tell you how it all went sometime next week =). I guess that’s about it for this week. Have a great weekend! =).

P.S. Lately the weather was just horrible and the fact that winter is coming started sinking in. It’s hard to realize that instead of sunny days filled with colors we’ll have to deal with all the greyness, at least here in New England =/. We’ve posted few images below taken over this summer to keep our minds in a summery mood at least for a little longer. Hopefully it’ll work. Till next week =).

Iza and Wojtek had a beautiful wedding at Greek Hall in New Britain, CT. It was one of those weddings that you really want to be a part of, whether you’re a guest or a photographer. It is hard to describe every detail of the day but to make it short, weather, ceremony, music, reception and overall atmosphere were perfect from the beginning to the very end. Iza and Wojtek are so awesome and perfect for each other… Love just radiates when you’re around them =). They are also a very lucky couple to have such wonderful family and friends that made this day even more magical. It is so wonderful to see such a large group of people in one place celebrating love and the new beginning for the newlyweds… Goofing around, dancing till they drop, now that’s the crowd that we love and admire =D. Of course the night didn’t end without surprises, oh yeah =). Towards the end of the wedding while the entire floor was dancing their butts off, the music suddenly stopped. The groom got up on stage, took the mic, and sang a beautiful song for his gorgeous wife. It was so cool to see him on the stage and all the people cheering for him. After Wojtek was done Iza joined him on the stage and they started singing together… They absolutely ROCKED the house! Such a great wedding… =). Congrats to the newlyweds once again =). Make sure you’re back to see Iza and Wojtek trashing the dress next week =).

For those of you following us on facebook and twitter, we mentioned that soon we’ll make an announcement… We’re working on it very hard so stay tuned =D. Can’t wait…

Few photos from the shoot =)

We started out the day very early in the morning since we had to get to the city, but for some strange reason the entire day just flew by so fast it was a blur. At least we have photos to slow it down for us a little =). After we arrived in New York, we shot preparations, ceremony, and then we were off to do formals, which took us a while since there were so many great places to shoot at. Urban style, we love it. It is so much more interesting than the traditional park/look from behind the tree and smile pose. We always try to convince our brides to avoid parks and it seems that it’s starting to work =D. What matters to us the most is to provide our clients with memorable photographs that will last a lifetime… Brides to be, trust us, “Parks are not the best idea” =). Looks like we got a little off the subject here =D. Anyway, after the formals we arrived at Riviera for the reception. We were blown away by the service and look of this place. Just imagine… First of all our car was parked for us. After we got through the doors and introduced ourselves a waiter comes up to us (this is where our jaws dropped), “My name is Dan, and I’ll be your personal server tonight. Food, drinks, anything… I’m here to serve you.” Yeah, we were speechless there for a moment, while he took our bags with gear and put it away for us. Now, that’s service. We won’t even get into the subject of food presentation and an amazing garden with waterfalls that change colors every minute because you’ll have me writing for a while. Judges?… FIVE STARS from us and we will definitely recommend this place =). Riviera Caterers, check out their website. One word to summarize the day? Amazing =). Hmmmmm, maybe we should do a slideshow for the next post? Hmmmmm =D, we’ll see.

The first photo is from Peter’s wedding… =) Look at this guy, he already started eating out of his wife’s hand =D… I love it. By the way, I once again want to congratulate Ania and Peter on their marriage. Both of you looked stunning and are shortly said, wonderful =D. All the other photos are of wedding bands that I will be exchanging with Ela tomorrow =). I took those couple of days ago for our scrap/guest book and our wedding album =D. I absolutely love our wedding bands and here is where I truly want to thank once specific person for creating them. Valdi, THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE BEST. Visit Valdi’s website, studiovaldi.com, and check out his work. It is out of this world. If anyone is getting married or looking for an engagement ring, I would not recommend anyone but him.

So, I guess this is it for this week =D. I can’t believe that by the time we post our next blog I’m going to be married… It just doesn’t want to sink in =D. I’m so excited though… Wish me luck! =D. We’ll see you next week.

Picture below… You’re probably asking yourself, “What is wrong with him?” =D. I took this one on top of the bottle from Hooker Brewery. I love thier slogan – Get Caught With a Hooker =D. We were suspecting that Ola and Joe are a little hmmmm crazy =D, but wait till you see their Trash The Dress photos =D. They’re Simply Nuts! =D. Ola, Joe, you are WONDERFUL! =)

A long long time ago, (we’re pushing it aren’t we?), =) we shot a session with an extremely handsome single gentleman named Oliver =). Ladies, you will definitely have to hold off for a while since he might be just a little too young =). Meriden’s Hubbard Park seemed like a perfect place to torture Oliver and his mommy =). Both of them were so awesome, posing, smiling and not a single tear from either of them =D.

We asked Jenny to send us a photo with the vase once she receives it. The moment we get it we’ll post it =). We have been super busy for the past couple of weeks and have mucho catching up to do, especially on our blog. Between shooting weddings and other sessions, lately both of us also have some extra responsibilities connected with our own weddings =D. Peter’s “Doom’s Day” is on August 1st and my (Konrad’s) “DD – The Sequel” =D is just three weeks after that on August 22nd, so you can imagine how buried we are with work and everything else in between =). But its all good, we’re definitely right on track with everything and we’ll keep you updated on all the details =). Just a small little tip for all the couples planning on getting married… Start preparing and planning everything EARLY, you won’t regret it =D.

Just noticed that the above two paragraphs perfectly suite the title of this post “Chelsey | modeling”, hmmmmm…..(uncomfortable silence)….. ha =D.

And now a paragraph with some sense, hopefully… =). This session took place about three weeks ago at Harkness Memorial State Park and around it. We can’t reveal the “around” details since the place is extremely dangerous. Why? We would consider a 5′ x 5′ piece of collapsing ceiling right next to us a pretty risky thing, so please don’t feel adventurous in any way by looking for this spooky place =). We spent good couple of hours shooting different locations and outfits. We won’t even mention the amount of walking involved =D. Overall the shoot with Chelsey went just great and although we were completely beat after the session, it was well worth it. Next shoot for Chelsey’s portfolio will be a beach scenario that we’ll work on sometime this summer. OK let’s get to the point -> Samples from Chelsey’s modeling session are right down below =).
