I hope this message finds you all having an amazing Summer! We’re thrilled to share that July has been yet another great month for software development at RTV. Our team has been hard at work implementing a range of powerful updates designed to enhance your real estate photography, aerial drone, and virtual tour business.

From new customization options and streamlined processes to advanced tools that will set your company apart, these updates are all about making your workflow smoother and your service even more impressive.

Here’s a look at what’s new last Month:

7-29-24 – DeScribe AI Secondary Location – You’ll be pleased to know that DeScribe AI has a secondary home on the Information Page making it easier for you AND your customer to utilize the feature while inputting property details. If you have given your AI bot a custom name, the system will utilize your custom name on the Information page. The system also recognizes whether you’ve granted that specific customer access to the AI tool. For example, if you have revoked access to the Edge Marketing Center for a particular customer, they will not be able to access the AI tool from their Delivery Site or the project Information page. If you have not tried the unique property description tool yet, we highly recommend doing so. Take a moment to learn more about it and train your customers to use it. Our DeScribe AI tool is yet one more thing that sets you apart from other real estate photographers in your area. Enjoy!

7-22-24 – Storefront Order Step Arrangement – You can now arrange nearly all of your Storefront order steps in any order that you see fit. At BlueLaVa, we have decided to have our customers provide their “Customer Information” first. By doing this we are able to chase after any of the tire kickers that might see our pricing and leave the Storefront. By default, all new RTV accounts are set to “Must Login” occurring first in the order process. Feel free to edit your “Login and Connectivity Settings,” so your customers are not required to log in first. When login first is off, the RTV system will automatically recognize returning customer email addresses and create the order in the system for the associated customer. While “View Cart” and “Checkout” must always come at the end, you can feel free to rearrange the first four steps in any order you like.

7-22-24- Full Storefront Textual Customization – We’re pleased to announce that you now have FULL control of nearly all of the text on your RTV Storefront! If you’ve been wanting to change up some of the text on your storefront that was hardcoded, now is your chance! We’ve now given you full control of the text on each page throughout the entire shopping experience. If you would like to tell your customer to “Choose ONE (1) Primary Package Below. Add-Ons are on the Following Page,” for example, you now can! Some of you may want to remind your customers to provide property access information by saying something like “Please provide lock box codes or other pertinent property access information using our special instructions area below.” on the details page. To explore your options, click on “Settings” followed by “Storefront Settings” – scroll down to the bottom of the Storefront Settings page, and you’ll see your “Order Step Settings.” Enjoy!

7-22-24 – HTML Support on Gallery Pages – If you recall, a while back, we revamped the Gallery Pages so they load faster, offer more usable features during listing presentations, and rank exceptionally well in the SERPS. As a result, we’ve received many requests to allow for HTML in your company description area. We are happy to inform you that your Gallery Pages now support HTML! Feel free to link out from your Gallery Page to your website, specific pages on the web, or get really fancy. Take a look at what we did over at BlueLaVaMedia using some basic HTML upgrades – https://tours.BlueLaVaMedia.com. To utilize this new feature yourself, simply click on “Settings” followed by “Profile.” From there, you can update your company description and utilize the new HTML capabilities. Enjoy!

7-11-24—Delivery Page Emails Template Upgrade—By popular demand, your project delivery email template now supports project “placeholders”, so you can fully customize the subject and body of your Delivery email. We recommend that you leave the project address in your subject so customers can easily identify individual projects as they’re delivered. Feel free to click on your “Settings” followed by “Emails” – “Email Templates” – “Delivery Page Email” and take notice of the NEW “Placeholders” button. From here, you can customize your Delivery Page Email to your liking.

7-11-24 – Traffic Report Batch Removal – We’ve added a very simple way to remove a recipient from ALL traffic reports at once. This comes in handy when a customer moves to a new brokerage, gets a new email address, or when they get a new assistant. You can access the batch removal tool by clicking on “Settings” followed by “Traffic Reports.” From there, you can enter the email address you would like to take off all traffic reports. You can also access this handy tool by clicking on any of your users, followed by their individual traffic report settings area.

7-8-24—Property Website Layout Access—Now that we have six unique property websites, it’s time to show your customers the vast offering you can provide them with your photo delivery. We are happy to announce that you now have the ability to let your customers choose their favorite property website layout directly from their Delivery Site. To enable this feature for all of your customers, click on “Settings” – “Deliverables & Links” and enable “Property Website Theme”. You can also set this feature on a customer-level basis or on a case-by-case basis for each Delivery Site.

RTV Manager Updates:

6-25-24 – Edge Marketing Branding Update – You’ll be happy to know that our Edge Marketing Center will now pull over Broker logos into marketing pieces for any of your linked agents. If you’re not using our Linked Agent feature, you may want to consider doing this sooner than later. It makes it very easy when agents move from one brokerage to another, and it takes a heavy workload off your shoulders. The next time you set up an agent, don’t add a logo for them; instead, set up their brokerage and put the brokerage logo there. As agents move around, link them to their new brokerage, and the RTV system will pull in all pertinent information and branding.

6-21-24 – Project Gallery Toggle – We’ve added new “On/Off” support for your Project Galleries. If you recall, we vastly improved the photographer, agent, owner, and broker gallery pages last month. These improvements in speed and SEO have led to thousands of Project Gallery pages popping up in search engines worldwide. Some customers may not want their Gallery pages to be on, perhaps even outranking their own website. To turn a Project Gallery off, go to that particular user, under settings, and click on “Project Gallery.” From the Project Gallery Settings page, flip the switch from “Enabled” to “Disabled.” Furthermore, be sure to take some time to customize your Project Gallery page’s background, page titles, and page description. 6-20-24 – CubiCasa Floor Plan Integration – The RTV system is officially connected with the Cubi.Casa floor plan system. Full integration has been launched and is ready for you to use. We’ve also taken the time to greatly improve our system’s Floor Plan Editor area, which users engage with to create interactive floor plan productions. This new integration lets you pull JPG, PNG, and PDF floor plans into your Delivery Site. It also allows you to import floor plans into your floor plan editor and crop, rotate, and resize floor plans to make an interactive floor plan virtual tour. 6-19-24—Order Action Log Improvements—We just added more transparency to our Order Action Logs. You can now see what was initially put onto the order, what got removed, when, what media was imported and from what source, and when any payments were made. These are all great things to help you run your business.

6-18-2 – New Media Manager Layout—The next time you log into your RTV system and begin an upload, you’ll notice that we’ve given the media manager a facelift. The new, easier-to-understand layout makes upgrading your project and adding more video time easy to find. You’ll also be happy to know that a project credit is no longer required when you want to upgrade your project. A smaller fee of $5 is drawn from your RTV Wallet. Enjoy the savings and simplicity.

6-18-24 – One Gig 1080 Limit & 4K Video Support – We are excited to inform you that we are now live with our new 1GB file limit for your 1080 video uploads. Better yet, we’ve also added support for 4K video playback via an upgrade button within the media manager. While our 1080 video steaming is included in your project credit purchase, the new 4K support is an Add-on feature that can be purchased through your RTV wallet. While working on this part of the system, we took the time to double the bitrate of our 1080 videos. We’re certain you’ll notice a difference in playback quality, especially on larger screens. 5-23-24 – Order Confirmation Improvements – We’ve now made it so that when you manually send your customer an order confirmation from the order details section, it will automatically CC your company email. We recommend that you keep a folder dedicated to your email confirmations. It can be very helpful if a customer misses an appointment or declares they ordered something they did not. You’ll also be happy to know that our order action log keeps a LOT of useful information regarding what was ordered, what changes were made to an order, when invoices are looked at, paid, etc. Enjoy the real estate photography system updates that help you run a more efficient business every day!

5-17-24 – Improved Business Center Search – We’ve greatly improved the search functionality of RTV’s Business Resource Center. Those of you looking for videos or marketing pieces that contain information on specific topics will like how easy the improved search function is. If you have not checked out everything the BRC has to offer, we highly recommend that you browse around there today. Marketing pieces, flyers, and presentations are affordable and easy to customize and deploy.

5-9-24 – Custom Client Portals Password Reset – Those of you using a custom Client Portal to allow your customers to log in, move photos around, choose music tracks, make project changes, and more will be thrilled to know we now have a very simple way for your customers to request a password reset. They no longer have to reach out to you if they lose their password and need to gain access to their account. Remember that if you’re using our Delivery Site to send your photos to your customer, they will never have to know their username and password. You can simply grant them access to their Client Portal directly from the Delivery Site page. From there, access is one click away.

5-7-24 – Gallery Page Updates – Massive improvements were applied to your RTV Gallery Pages in May. The first thing you’ll notice is that they load incredibly fast now! Check out team BlueLaVa’s page at https://tours.BlueLaVaMedia.com While the team was making improvements, we took the time to also boost the SEO of the page. Go ahead and google “Traverse City Virtual Tours”. Wow right? Also, you’ll notice that when you go to your Gallery settings area, you now have full control over your page title, description, custom background, and more. Those of you using a custom background will also like that we took the time to allow you to add an optional transparent white background to the sidebar of your Gallery, making your company bio a lot easier to read. We hope you like the vast improvements we worked so hard to deliver.

4-30-24 – New Social Media Card – We are happy to announce that Social Media Card fourteen just went live and now all nineteen layouts are live and ready for you to use! Social Media Cards seven and fourteen utilize our cutting-edge AI transparent technology that allows you to knock out the backgrounds of agent or owner headshots. Later this year, we’ll be working on creating more Social Media Cards for you to use. Currently, you can choose from nineteen Social Media Cards, eight double-page flyers, and four single-page flyers. We’ll let you know as we make additional Edge Marketing updates and add new layouts to the growing collection. Enjoy.

4-30-24 – Storefront Product Image Upgrade – Your Storefront products and imagery got a HUGE facelift in April! You can now showcase larger images to really show off what you do best – Real Estate Photography & Media. Upload one or more photos for each product and it will be on display similarly to an Amazon product. You can even click from one image to another. This is especially important for virtual staging products, twilight examples, or your headshot gallery. We took things a bit further by reformatting your Storefront product display, and we’re confident you’ll like how everything looks. Finally, users can click on your product thumbnail to view more information on that specific product. Enjoy these beautiful cosmetic updates to the system.

4-30-24 – Agent Mobile on Delivery Site – Your Delivery Sites now display both the agent office number as well as the agent/owner mobile phone number. From the Delivery Site they’re able to update both phone numbers stored in the system.

4/26/24 – Delivery Site & Order Action Log Upgrade – Do you ever wonder if your customer has looked at your Delivery Site or your invoice? How about whether they clicked on your deliverables or downloaded the photos? Wonder no more because our new Delivery Site & Order Action Log Upgrade gives you a LOT more transparency into what your customers and staff have been up to. We’re even providing the IP addresses of those clicking on the Delivery Site so you have full clarity and business intelligence at your fingertips. Those who are running a team or even have one admin working with you will greatly appreciate the upgrades we’ve made to the order action log. You can now see when new images are uploaded or removed from your project and by which user. To check out our new Delivery Site or Delivery Email action log, visit your “Deliverables & Links” page and scroll to the bottom. To look at the Order Action Log, view your order and click on the “View Action Log” button. It’s all there for you to review and ensure everything within your company runs smoothly. Enjoy!

4-23-24 – New Social Media Cards – We launched seven new Social Media Cards with our push today! Templates eight, seven, thirteen, seventeen, fifteen, sixteen, and eighteen are now all live and ready for use. We’re very excited for all of you to try out Social Media Card number seven (7), which utilizes our new AI background removal tool. This creates a very impressive look and feel and works best when you upload a new high-resolution image of the agent or owner into your project. We have one more template going live in April that utilizes this new AI transparency technology, and as we move forward with creating new Social Media Cards, we are sure to have more on the way that utilize this exciting tech.

4-19-24 – Hot Sheet Feed Upgrade – If you use an email system to burn a hot sheet email you’ll love the upgrade that we just gave to the Hot Sheet Feed. The feed renders out in one or two seconds, making for an incredibly speedy load time. You’ll also love the fact that if you have a customer that you want to send to the top of your Hot Sheet, simply turn off “Syndicate to Project Gallery & RSS,” click “Save,” and turn “Syndicate to Project Gallery & RSS” back on again followed by clicking “Save.” This action will instantly send your customer’s project to the top of your Hot Sheet Feed. Some of you will charge a fee for this new feature, especially if you’re emailing out to several hundred local realtors or more. For more information on how to set up your Hot Sheet, visit our Help Center https://manage.realtourvision.com/fsd/help.php and search for the Keyword “Hot Sheet”.

4-16-24 – Disable Storefront Checkout – Ever want to force your customers to invoice on every order? You can now by using our new “Disable Storefront Checkout” feature. This works well if you want to take orders off your Storefront and use the booking system but are not entirely sure what the total will be. Many professional real estate photographers are told just to photograph the home and take as many photos as the house warrants. If you offer a “Photographers Choice” package, this feature might work well in your workflow. To not allow your storefront customers to pay via your Storefront, simply click on “Settings” followed by “Storefront Settings” and from this page, turn off “Enable Payment Collection”. Enjoy!

4-12-24 – New Social Media Card – Today, we proudly launched Social Media Card twelve. We are well on our way to having all nineteen Social Media Card layouts done by the end of this month! If you have not tried them out yet we highly recommend that you dive in and give the Edge Marketing Center a test drive. It’s free to use with your full projects, and your customers will love it. Enjoy.

4-12-24 – Client Portal Settings – We’ve just added a Client Portal Settings page. Under “Settings” and “Client Portal” you will find your Client Portal Link as well as a new feature that allows you to upload a custom background image for your Client Portal. Enjoy!

4-12-24 – Storefront Settings Update – We’ve overhauled our Storefront settings page with a much cleaner, easier-to-understand, efficient layout. Click “Settings” – “Storefront Settings” to have a peek. While you’re there take a few minutes to take in and review the wide variety of settings you can control.

4-10-24 – Order Confirmation Email Upgrade – You’ll be pleased to hear that our order confirmation emails are now being sent out to your customers with the photographer’s phone number included. Did you know that you can update and modify your order confirmation emails in your “Email Settings” area as well as send them a new confirmation email from your order “Details” area by clicking on the “Emails” button?

4-10-24 – Booking Speed Boost & New Order Padding – Our Calendar got a HUGE speed boost with this technology push. Customers booking on your calendar system will now move seamlessly through the scheduling system without delay in showing your availability. You’ll also like that you can now set the soonest you want customers to schedule an order with you. For example, if you don’t want anyone to be able to book inside of a six-hour notice, you would set this to six hours.

4-10-24 – New Social Media Cards – We added four new Social Media Cards in this push, including layouts four, ten, eleven, and nineteen. We’re working diligently to give you ALL 19 layouts by the end of April. If you have not experimented with the Edge Marketing Center yet, log in today and give one a try! Just listed cards are incredibly simple to generate, and you can give your customers instant access to the Edge Marketing Center from your Delivery Site. Enjoy!

Our Real Estate Photography Software received some nice upgrades in March, and April is teeming with even more exciting news to share with you. If you have not tried out RTV’s Edge Marketing Center, you should log into your account and poke around. We’re also encouraging real estate photographers to set up our payment collection, invoicing system, and calendar integration/booking system in preparation for this Summer’s busy season. We’ve been busy programming this, so you have more free time. Make sure you’re taking advantage of everything we have to offer you.

RTV Manager Updates:

3-28-24 – New Social Media Cards – We added two new social media cards in March and will continue to add to our Edge Marketing Center until we’ve completed all 19 layouts. We expect to deliver between two and three new layouts each week so look for many new offerings starting in April of 2024. There are currently seven social media cards to choose from, eight double-page printable flyers, and four single-page printable flyers. Our Edge Marketing center also received several updates, adjustments, and fixes during the month of March, so if you have not tested it yet, log in today and give one a try! Just listed cards are incredibly simple to generate and you can give your customers instant access to the Edge Marketing Center from your Delivery Site. Enjoy!

3-11-24 – Order Action Log – We’re excited to have launched our new Order Action Log. The Order Action Log can be found in your order details area on the left side of the menu. The Action Log shows events that have been done to an order, from order creation to delivery. If you have admin working with your account, you can track when media compiles occur, when projects are marked as complete, when delivery emails are being sent, and more. It even shows you when the system performs automatic actions on your project, such as media compiles. While the current version of our Action Log shows several core events, later this year, we plan on adding smaller events such as media manager saves, external media embeds, video compiles, and more. Finally, as we launch our new users, such as your Editors, Admin Staff, and more, you’ll see their actions appear in the Action Log.

3-11-24 – Photography Reorder/Reschedule Feature – It’s that time of year when realtors call you to go out and “Green Up” a property. Our booking system is ready for green-ups, remodels, reshoots, and reschedules. In the past, if an order was complete, you were required to create a new order, which would trigger a new project. Now, you can simply press the “Reschedule Order” button even after the order has been paid for and completed once. The order will open back up and allow you to choose a new or keep the existing photographer, add products to the invoice, and choose a day and time for the photography shoot. After completing the reshoot, you must mark the photography job as complete again before sending out the Delivery Site to collect pay and deliver to your customer. Enjoy!

2024 is off to a magnificent start over here at RTV! In January, we added thirteen (13) noteworthy features and quality-of-life improvements to our real estate photography delivery system. We strongly encourage you to review each new feature and update below. Several of these updates will help you with your workflow and save time, while others are new features we’ve added to our system.

Much of what we pushed out in January concerns our calendar integration and online booking system. Please have a look, and be sure to let us know what we did last month that you liked most. Drivetime & Padding for First/Last Shoot of the Day – As a real estate photographer, telling your customers that you start your day at 9 AM generally means you’re willing to arrive at your first appointment at 9 AM. If your business closes at 5:00 PM, perhaps you would like to be done working by then, or maybe you’re willing for your last shoot to begin at 5:00 PM. Whatever your choice may be, the good news is that we now have a feature that allows you to choose between five unique scenarios depending on when you like to start/finish your day and whether orders are allowed to go past your business hours. The new feature is located under the “Settings” and “Scheduling Settings.” Once you’re there, look for the dropdown that says, “How would you like the system to book shoots around your business hours?” Choose one of the five options that best describes how you like to start and end your day, and the scheduling system will abide.

Calendar Color Picker – Are you tired of calendar color randomization? You may now choose a default color for your calendar as well as your booking zones! The chosen color for your calendar and each zone will remain the same each time you load your calendar. To set your colors on your linked calendar and booking zones, simply open up your RTV Calendar off your Dashboard, choose the calendar or zone you wish to set a color from the lefthand side, look for the three dots next to each one to click and change your color. It will save automatically!

Satellite View on Property Websites – We’re happy to inform you that all six RTV Property Website layouts allow for a satellite view toggle on the map portion of the page. Over the last few years this has been a popular request and we thank you for the great ideas and suggestions. Keep them coming, RTV fans and photographers!

One Click Unsubscribe & Email Delivery Upgrade – As you may already know, Google and Yahoo are going to start requiring that all bulk emails support one-click unsubscribe. On top of this they’re requiring you to add in some DMARC/DKIM records within your DNS records so they know that you’re actually the person sending the email. Both of these requirements are to help reduce SPAM. RTV now allows you to add up to six records into your DNS, essentially future-proofing your email send for the foreseeable future. With RTV you can take comfort in knowing that we’re making sure your delivery emails and traffic reports find their way to the inbox. You can find the email setup area under “Settings” and “Emails”. Ideally, you will want to achieve a score of 6 out of 6. This tees you up for optimal private-labeled email sending through the RTV system. Happy Sending!

Deliverables Action Log – Those of you who have multiple people working within your company will like the new activity log that we’ve added to the bottom of the Deliverables/Links section for both our Delivery Site and Delivery Email tabs. The action log shows you the date and time compiles occurred and when the deliveries were sent out to customers. Enjoy the new transparency!

Customer Profile & Property Details Lock – By popular demand, we now allow you to lock down the Delivery Sites ability to edit customer information and property detail information. By default, we have this turned on for you, but we’ve had several requests from customers to allow these two editable areas to be locked. You’ll find the settings in your Delivery Site settings.

Photo Feedback System – We’re pleased to announce that version one of our new Photo Feedback System is live. You can turn on Photo Feedback in your Delivery Site settings area. This feature lets your customers directly provide feedback on individual photos from your Delivery Site. They can even indicate which photos they want to purchase from you or have you perform edits on. Each time they provide feedback, you’ll receive a notification via email and can access the Delivery Site. This feature is especially valuable when working with large corporate accounts. The possibilities are endless with this unique communication tool created just for you and your customers. Enjoy!

New Order Date Filter – We’ve added a new filter so you can search through your real estate photography, aerial drone, and virtual tour orders directly from your “Orders” page. Simply choose a ready to go date range or select “Custom” to view orders within your own custom date range. Enjoy!

Customer Invoice Upgrade – Your invoices were upgraded at the start of the New Year! We’ve added your company name to the left side, and the company website and email address are now on the upper right side of the invoice for your customer’s convenience. Visit your Delivery Site and click on an invoice to see the new layout.

New Priority Video Creator – While the video ripper/reel maker will get a nice upgrade later this year, we’ve added a way for customers in need to jump to the front line. Zone-Based Mileage Fees – We are excited to inform you that you now can charge a travel fee based on total mileage or a specific “Zone” that an order falls in. You can also charge travel fees based on tiers of distance too! Look for this feature under your “Settings” section and click on “Service Area”. Enjoy!

Terms of Service (TOS) Agreement Pop-Up – Those of you who wish to add your terms of service to your Delivery Site or your Storefront will just LOVE our new feature that allows you to enforce your photography and image licensing terms of service upon checkout, upon photo delivery, or even both! To implement this feature, you must first establish your terms of service by adding them to your system. Click “Settings”, then “Order Settings”, then scroll to the bottom. This is where you enter your system-wide default Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. All of your Delivery Sites will use this Terms of Service policy. If you need a different Terms of Service policy used for Storefront orders, you can set a custom policy on the “Storefront Settings” page. Next, to enable the TOS agreement pop-up upon checkout from Storefront, you’ll flip the “Require TOS Agreement to Checkout (PayPal is not supported)” switch in the Storefront Settings area. To enable the TOS agreement pop-up on your Delivery Site, you’ll want to head over to your Deliver Site Settings by clicking on “Settings” and “Deliverable/Links”. Here, you will find two settings: “Require TOS to Pay” and “Require TOS to Access.” Require TOS to Pay will force the users to accept your terms of service upon payment. This does not work well if they’re sending you a check, so we’ve also allowed you to force them to accept your terms of service to access the Delivery Site entirely.

Photographer Order Edit – We’re excited to announce that you can now edit the photographer on an order during any status of an order, even a fully completed order. We’re working towards you being able to reschedule an order with a second photographer or even the same photographer again to come out a second time on the same order. It’s all in the works!
