McDonald’s tapped the U.K.’s Met Office to collect real-time weather data. That way, the billboards update alongside the changing weather conditions to give consumers an accurate weather update.

In the way that Bowie discovered his adopted city, Spotify is giving music lovers the opportunity to go on a journey through the immersive David Bowie Subway Takeover exploring the musician's influence on music, fashion, culture, and the city that he loved.

Spotify is transforming New York City’s Broadway-Lafayette subway station into an underground takeover that pays tribute to the legendary works and sensational life of the musical icon. Fans and visitors can be awed while exploring the Broadway-Lafayette station from Tuesday, April 17 until Sunday, May 13.

Behind the growing success of street art there are often mechanisms that transform artists into tools in the hands of galleries, institutions and media. In a market interested both in the economy of attention and the selling of artworks, the street artist is the ideal low-cost toy. He distracts, entertains, sets trends, attracts followers and likes and has low economic claims. You don't even need to contact him well in advance, because today the offer in this environment is so wide that you have a wide margin of choice even a few days before an event.

With the irony to which Biancoshock has accustomed us, B.Toy denounces the nuts and bolts at the base of modern economic insecurity, reproducing the "starter kit" of the perfect street artist, armed with a roller, spray cans, bucket and rod. However, behind the smile of the "toy" imprisoned in the box, we can see the dissatisfaction of an artist who is denied the opportunity to experiment and transmit messages difficult to be understood. B.Toy is a self-portrait of an artist who looks at himself in the mirror to remain real, despite the forced approval and likability that success impresses on today's street art, reproducing dinamics similar to those happening in rap music as well. Museum of the Great War - An unexpected umbrella

In order to attract new visitors, the museum of the great war created a partnership with several hotels close to gare de l'Est, the Paris train station serving the city where the museum is located, only 20 minutes away. It provided the hotels with ordinary-looking, black umbrellas that were made available to guest at the reception desk in the event of inclement weather. Upon opening the umbrella, users were surprised to find themselves immersed in a 360° view of a WWI battlefield along with the following message:

"IN 1914, NOTHING WOULD HAVE PROTECTED YOU FROM THE KIND OF THE RAIN POURING DOWN."

The umbrella served as reminder of just how merciful the sky today is, even when obscured by clouds. And how, a century on, it is imprerative not to forget, as peace proves to be fragile.

Brian Kane - Healing Tool

Healing Tool is art designed for people in cars. A temporary public art installation using digital billboards on interstate freeways.

The goal is to provide a moment of temporary relief and unexpected beauty during the daily grind of commuting.
The piece builds on a body of work which simulates digital experiences in the real world. In this case, simulating the Photoshop Healing Tool to replace or patch over the landscape which is blocked by the billboard.

During the day hours, a series of images from the specific location are shown on the display. We replace the missing background and create a magic dimensional window. A dynamic motion parallax effect occurs as the vehicle passes the location.

During the evening hours, high-resolution images of the moon are shown. Synced to the daily phase, people can view the moon despite the effects of urban light pollution. An image of the Milky Way is shown on new moon night.

The dynamic image sequences provide an additional level of intrigue for frequent drivers and commuters. As the images change hourly and daily, viewers have something to look forward to: a curious and abstract narrative over time.

Thematically, the piece is ambiguously green. It appears to be replacing the artificial with the natural, but it’s really just using technology to simulate a nature replacement. It’s also a form of “unvertising” – a campaign without a message. By removing the marketing message from the advertising space, we create an unexpected moment of introspection. People are allowed to interpret an image based on their own experience, and not necessarily with the singular focus of the advertiser’s intent.

Tutto è iniziato il 1 Maggio, durante il concerto organizzato in piazza San Giovanni, con l'arrivo di un’enorme dirigibile dal quale sono scesi enormi palloni verdi e centinaia di Alieni che hanno iniziato a socializzare con il pubblico.

Nei giorni successivi, i piccoli omini verdi sono stati avvistati nei quartieri Pigneto, San Lorenzo e Ostiense, lasciando in giro tracce di una sostanza liquida fluo e strani manifesti di propaganda.

Sono arrivati e ne stanno arrivando altri! Sono alla ricerca del BORAX, la loro sostanza vitale.

Chi sono in realtà? Cosa accadrà il 25 Maggio?
