Power is work divided by time, and when we are training for power through exercise we are looking for two main components. 1- Force produced/generated through the movement 2- How quickly you can do that movement. Force is equal to mass times acceleration. When we use the power plate the vibration accelerates our mass by dropping away from us and coming back to us increasing the G-forces on the tissues. When adding the ViPR we are increasing our mass and exponentially increasing forces placed on the body with both tools together. When the movements are down quickly we are training for power and strength.
