Vic Thrill + T Pow show w/legendary TV icon Frank Sidebottom and an amazing circus band known as Thingumabob & The Thingumajigsat Lloyd's in Manchester England attracted a star-studded crowd of party animals including 24 Hour Party People guitarist Mark Day of THE HAPPY MONDAYS, BBC 6 radio host and former bassist of THE FALL Marc Riley,and drummer Mike Joyce of THE SMITHS. The entire evening was a harmonic convergence of magical weather and people, it snowed over a foot and a half that night (the most in Manchester modern history), VT+TPoW and The Thingumajigs traveled to and from the venue on a surfboard tied to the back of Kev Thingumajigs's truck, and the greatest coincidence of all was that Vic Thrill Salon video director and filmmaker Chris Cassidy shooting a documentary on the one and only DENNIS & LOIS.

DJ Marc Riley spun VTSM's "Brevvia Buzz Storm" the following night on his radio show...

TEAM SPIRIT ANIMAL SQUAD = LIVE 3D ANIMATION, to a soundscape of VIC THRILL music and indescribably beautiful backdrop of live video by www.BAMIAM.tv created and controlled live with the use of a keytar (those old 80's keyboards worn like a guitar).

Each song is accompanied by stunning choreography of acrobats, dancers, trapeze artists and aerialists of various kinds - many from Tanya Gagné's Trapeze Loft (www.thetrapezeloft.com), hula hoopers, jugglers, a primitive naked man and strange fairy-like creatures manipulating the elements with their supernatural powers!

Performing live with VIC THRILL that night will be T-POW! (www.wauwausisters.com) and the truly great Ryan Sawyer with the musicality of Buddy Rich and animal explosiveness of an orangutang pounding on a locked garbage can full of food! There will also be musical appearances from The Bad Mittens, Lone Wolf & Cub (http://www.myspace.com/ryanlonewolfsawyer) and cross pollination of all the musical acts throughout.

There is no separation between stage and audience, the performance utilizes the entire space and brings the viewer in contact with the show in a very enjoyable and inoffensive way, almost as if you were snorkeling on a coral reef with schools of tropical fish swimming around you! You are encouraged to think of a spirit animal for yourself and dress as such for the show, as you really are a big part of it.

We are thrilled to report that upstanding bassist (not to be confused with upright bassist) Eddie Eyeball of the legendary 2 Skinnee J's is once again lending his sonic rub-a-dub to the deep-space-apocalypso-skunkwave compositions of VT/VTSM. Reliable sources deep inside the VT disorganization have informed us that Mr. Eyeball has been pitching Vic on a concept of doing a stretch of shows where the VTSM album Circus Of Enlightenment would be performed entirely by old-skool live musicians, eliminating the use of any electronics. In the past year or two it is in fact known that VT was approached by one other well known band, whose name will remain anonymous for now, to record a new album of new VT compositions with their full musical involvement. Something mysterious is afoot - a new Vic Thrill Salon is days away from being opened and there's a swirl of cosmic collaboration soon to emerge thanks to the relentless encouragement of long time friends and supporters of VT. Watch this Summer's performances like one would a brewing hurricane out at sea - Hurricane Vic is about to make landfall!!!
