No matter what the winter weather brings, Swisher has a variety of snow removal equipment designed to quickly clear your driveway, sidewalk and paths. With plenty of power and maneuverability, these rugged, dependable solutions will give you more time to enjoy the comforts of indoors.

QuickSwitch System™ Plow Blade for ATV or UTV
Model: 2645R (ATV) or 2140 (UTV)
The super-duty Plow Blade is just one innovative attachment available with our ATV or UTV QuickSwitch System for all-seasons. It provides 50-inches of rugged performance, cuts a wide swath, and delivers powerful snow breaking and leveling. The versatile Plow Blade can be adjusted into five preset positions. The durable powder coat finish, plow-saving skids and replaceable cutting edge guarantee a long life. This Plow Blade attaches to the Front Mount Kit without any tools, and can be lifted by a winch or manual lift, both available from Swisher. The QuickSwitch System attaches to the underside of virtually any ATV or UTV and runs the full length for unparalleled strength and stability. Requires the QuickSwitch Front Mount Kit for ATV (Model: 2646) or UTV (Model: 9146).

QuickSwitch System™ Dump Bucket for ATV or UTV
Model: 15714 (for ATV & UTV)
With the heavy-duty, 14-gauge steel Dump Bucket, your ATV or UTV can be capable of scooping snow, dirt, sand or gravel. The 44-inch wide bucket is designed to cover the full width of most ATVs and UTVs and can be attached quickly without any tools. Rugged scoring teeth allow you to better penetrate hard, packed snow or other materials. The bucket elevates enough to dump on to level ground through a quick release lever that is easy to handle, even while wearing gloves. The bucket can be further elevated with a winch, available from Swisher. Requires the QuickSwitch Front Mount Kit for ATV (Model: 2646) or UTV (Model: 9146).

ATV Spreader
Model: 10272
Carrying heavy buckets of salt and sand in an attempt to evenly cover long driveways, parking lots or walkways is exhausting. Swisher’s ATV Spreader allows users to easily spread, salt, sand or other de-icing chemicals. The Spreader fixes to the back of virtually any ATV. The 15-gallon poly tank hopper is adjustable and spreads from widths of 4-inches to 16-inches in diameter, and its heavy-duty ball bearing motor will finish large areas faster.

If you’ve ever tried to change a tire off-road using an ordinary jack, you know how frustrating and even dangerous the exercise can be. The emergency jack supplied with your vehicle is useless if you have a suspension lift. And that old-fashioned cast iron jack that you’ve been lugging around is great for agricultural purposes, but it’s not exactly ideal for today’s high tech off-road machines. The awkward size makes it difficult to store in your vehicle, the immense weight is cumbersome to transport, and the constant rattling is downright annoying.

The hydraulic specialists at Radflo Suspension Technology have heard your frustrations and developed a proper off-road jack that allows you to change tires with more speed and less sweat than ever before. The Hydra-Jac is a technically advanced, lightweight racing jack designed specifically for the off-road enthusiast. This clever adaptation of the “high-lift” jack provides the long-travel range you need without the cumbersome size and weight of conventional designs.

Features
Adjustable jacking platform adapts to your off-road application: Simply preset the adjustable jacking platform to the proper position for your vehicle and the generous 18″ lift range will elevate a disabled tire into the air on the most flexible suspensions.

Quickly raise or lower your vehicle with minimum effort: The convenient, fold-away handle makes operation easy and efficient. In most cases, no more than 4 pumps are required to raise your vehicle a full inch. Release the bleed screw to lower the vehicle – you can even control the rate of descent.

Heavy duty hydraulic ram provides impressive load capacity: The massive 7/8″ ram allows you to safely hoist loads up to 2,200 lbs. in almost any conditions without fear of failure. Like our shocks, the Hydra-Jac is completely serviceable and rebuildable for a lifetime of service.

Lightweight yet ultra-strong construction eliminates strain: A combination of lightweight alloy materials makes transportation and operation truly painless. At only 13 lbs., you can easily load or unload the jack without breaking a sweat.

Space efficient size provides more storage options: When fully collapsed the overall length is a compact 37″, allowing you to stow the Hydra-Jac in locations where your current “high lift” jack would never fit.

OHV Enthusiasts Nationwide Benefit from More Than 100 Yamaha GRANTs in 21 Months

Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., through its OHV Access Initiative, has provided more than $1 million in critical funding into OHV projects across the country. In less than two years, more than 100 Yamaha GRANTs (Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nation’s Trails) have been given to local, state and national organizations that are leading efforts to support safe, responsible OHV riding and sustainable, open riding areas.

Programs receiving GRANTs historically incorporate projects that directly impact specific trails, such as trail construction and maintenance, safety patrols, mapping and trail signage, as well as projects that address OHV usage on a broader scale — like educational and land stewardship campaigns and legislative or legal efforts supporting responsible OHV access to public lands. GRANT funded projects span the country from New York to California, Florida to Oregon. A complete list of GRANT recipients can be found at: www.yamaha-motor.com/ohvaccess

“Yamaha is leading national and local efforts to promote safe, responsible riding and open, sustainable riding areas, and reaching this $1 million milestone is symbolic of our commitment,” said Mike Martinez, Yamaha’s general manager of ATV and Side-by-Side Operations. “Together with our GRANT recipients, we recommit to these efforts each time an approved OHV project is funded and completed. Through the OHV Access Initiative, Yamaha will to continue to provide vital resources to the OHV community for many years to come.”

In this third quarter funding cycle, eight Yamaha GRANTs (Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nation’s Trails) were awarded to fund projects that directly impact the access, safety and sustainability of OHV riding areas across the country. GRANT recipients for Q3 2009 include:

Hunstville, TN – The SXS & ATV Roundup presented by Yamaha enjoyed success in its first year at Brimstone Recreation, hosting the largest crowd in the park’s history. Held over Labor Day Weekend 2009, the Roundup was a popular choice for off-roaders in the Southeast. With a host of activities and events for the whole family, the crowds were in attendance all weekend. Friday night’s drive-in movie sponsored by PIAA kicked off the weekend’s festivities. The crowd was back in attendance early Saturday to get a look at the tricked out machines competing in the Kawasaki Show and Shine. Mud bogging, drag racing and sled pulling events ran all day in the GBC arena, while the Can-Am guided rides gave visitors a look at Brimstone’s amazing trail system. As the sun set behind the Tennessee hills, Country Legend Jon Anderson kept the crowd rocking late into the night on the Yamaha Main Stage. Sunday was all about racing; the Pro Armor King of the Mountain Endurance Challenge tested the toughest racers in the region with the most hard-core race course in the country.

MULE 610 4×4 XC Exclusives

New, larger wheels at all four corners provide additional track width

26-inch Maxxis Bighorn II radial tires offer improved ground clearance and superior off-road performance

Traditional MULE 610 4×4 Strengths

Rugged and compact 4×4 off-road utility vehicle can be easily transported in the back of a full-size pickup truck

Can tow up to 1,100 lbs. with optional Kawasaki trailer hitch installed

Lightweight, durable and quiet 401cc four-stroke engine

Can be started in gear by stepping on the brake pedal

Gear-driven engine balancer dramatically reduces vibration, minimizes noise and wear

Dual-element air cleaner provides good flow but doesn’t clog in dusty conditions

Positive crankcase ventilation system reduces vehicle emissions by recycling blow-by gasses into the intake tract so they can be burned by the engine

Muffler features a USFS-approved spark arrestor

California models have a check valve on the fuel tank to charcoal canister connector hose to prevent gasoline from entering the canister when operating on inclines or over rough terrain

Simple and lightweight Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is fully automatic and keeps engine speed in the most efficient range for any selected vehicle speed, load, or terrain

Selectable 2- and 4-wheel drive modes provide efficient operation over a wide variety of terrain

CVT belt deflection can easily be adjusted by changing shim thickness of the adjuster bolt located on the outside of the driven converter

Transmission cooling air flows in from a vent in the cab frame through a special air filter, which keeps out water and dust for increased belt life

Long wearing double cog CVT belt

Dual-Mode Differential offers locked mode for maximum traction in difficult conditions, while unlocked mode decreases turning radius and minimizes ground disturbance – great for use on grass.

Rack-and-pinion steering helps to keep steering light and accurate, which makes maneuvering in tight working quarters a snap

MacPherson Strut Independent Front Suspension offers a comfortable ride and excellent load-carrying capability and features a rugged single A-arm design that offers a tight turning radius for extra maneuverability

Unique rear suspension design places engine and rear wheels on a sub-frame with a mid-point pivot. This layout isolates vibration and allows the MULE utility vehicle to handle heavy loads, yet still provides a comfortable ride when the cargo bed is empty

Self-Adjusting, hydraulic drum brakes at all four wheels provide ample stopping power

Front grille includes space for mounting a 3000-pound capacity winch

Compact, lightweight and easy to transport to the job, the MULE easily fits in the bed of a full-sized pickup

Bench seat with two seat belts is spacious and comfortable for two adults

Durable plastic body panels resist dents, and color is molded in for long-lasting good looks

Meets Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) requirements for wheeled tractors under SAE J1194, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 7.4, and 7.5, and also meets FMVSS 216 roof crush resistance requirement

Large storage tub under the hood with four D-rings to secure the load

Passenger side glove box

Cup holders located at each side of the front hood by the dash

Steel cargo bed can carry up to 400 pounds and tilts for quick unloading

Thick tailgate panel and secure latching tailgate locking pins reduce vibration and noise, and add durability

Automotive-style dash is designed for ease of use with easy reach controls

Standard instrumentation includes an hour meter, fuel gauge, oil temperature warning light

Powerful and attractive 35w headlights help light the trail after daylight fades

Every Teryx is a capable machine designed for years of outdoor fun, but the Kawasaki Teryx™ 750 FI 4×4 LE adds handy features like a half-windscreen, rigid cab roof, retractable dual cup holder and attractive bodywork with a durable painted finish. Like all Teryx models, the LE rides on a wide chassis powered by a 749cc V-twin engine linked to a fully automatic CVT transmission. For 2010, all Teryx models feature revised styling with a more aggressive appearance, a new forward-tilting hinged front hood that provides easier access to the front suspension and radiator, an upgraded tilt bed frame that is more rigid to help prevent warping of the cargo box, and a new larger radiator fan that improves cooling efficiency.

The Kawasaki Teryx™ 750 FI 4×4 LE Camo has always offered a great combination of fun, utility and value. The LE Camo now packs more firepower than ever, thanks to the addition of dual Kolpin gun scabbards, a new Realtree® APG HD™ camouflage pattern and additional camouflaged features, including its wheels, dash, front bumper and roof. All Teryx models feature revised styling for 2010, with a more aggressive appearance, a new forward-tilting hinged front hood for easier access to the front suspension and radiator, an upgraded tilt bed frame that is more rigid to help prevent warping of the cargo box, and a new larger radiator fan that improves cooling efficiency.

Limited-slip front differential reduces steering effort under normal four-wheel drive operation, while Variable Front Differential Control permits rider to distribute torque equally to left and right front wheels for maximum traction via a hand lever located between the seats

Two- or four-wheel-drive operation, selectable by pressing a dash-mounted switch

Wide track chassis design helps enhance vehicle stability

Large-diameter thin-walled tubular steel frame offers high rigidity – a perfect base for performance riding – and meets SAE requirements as a roll-over protective structure (ROPS)

Performance-focused suspension designed for high-speed operation over varying terrain

Chassis has 11.6 inches of ground clearance for clearing tough off-road obstacles

Sport ATV inspired suspension features a narrow frame concept to maximize the length of the front and rear suspension’s lower A-arms, contributing to the Teryx’s excellent handling traits

Fully-adjustable shocks allow tuning of spring preload, compression and rebound damping

Front and rear shocks feature piggy-back reservoirs, further reducing the tendency of oil to froth under hard conditions

Cast and polished aluminum wheels offer reduced unsprung weight – by about two pounds each – and increased strength over a standard Teryx’s steel wheels, and add to the Sport model’s appearance

Dual front 200mm disc brakes gripped by 27mm twin-piston calipers and Kawasaki’s sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc rear brake system provide maximum stopping power in all conditions

Large 26-inch MAXXIS tires were specially developed for the Teryx to maximize forward traction while offering excellent control characteristics for aggressive cornering and sliding

Gas-assisted tilting cargo bed offers substantial cargo room, and features a 500 lb. capacity, tie down hooks in all four corners, and standard cargo net

Plenty of shoulder and legroom to comfortably accommodate two adults

Multi function display is standard on all Teryx models, and includes a digital speedometer, clock, dual trip meters, digital fuel gauge, plus 2WD/4WD indicator, water temperature and fuel injection warning indicators

Bodywork is made of high-gloss scratch-resistant Thermo-Plastic Olefin

Steel floor boards and engine guards for maximum protection

Battery and electric parts are located high in the chassis, out of the way of water and mud

Large 7.4 gal. (28L) fuel tank lets the fun continue for a long time between fill-ups

The Teryx Sport is compact enough to fit in the bed of most full-size pickup trucks
