Over a week-long period in May, fraudsters made six transfers from the online bank accounts of Patco Construction Company, a family-owned developer in Sanford, Maine, according a copy of the lawsuit on the Washington Post&#39;s Web site.

BOSTON — A former Plymouth County jail inmate has admitted to hacking into the jail’s computer system to access personal information on more than 1,100 jail workers, the U.S. attorney’s office said.
Francis G. Janosko, 43, pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to a charge of intentional damage to a protected computer. Initially, he had also been charged with aggravated identity theft.
