• Nov 30th - At 7:00 Pot Luck dinner. After hearing President Monson's call for us to help others, join us for our Quarterly Humanitarian Service Night at 8:00 pm, led by Illene Pett to quilt and put together hygiene kits for the Women's Shelter and Domestic Violence Transition Center!

*** It is our desire to establish a feeling of love, unity, support and fellowship for people who find themselves single for whatever reason. We hope to provide a safe haven for single adults who are searching for a venue to stimulate their minds. comfort their hearts, and enrich their souls. We steadfastly promote LDS standards and ideals as we encourage fellowship, spirituality, laughter, wholesome activities, and learning. The following guidelines for participation have been established:
• Parents with children at home should be with them on Monday night. You are welcome, however, to attend our temple activity and other events that may be held on other nights.
• Participants must be single! All divorces must be final.
• We start dinner promptly at 7 p.m, with the program at 8 p.m. . Please use the door on the west side of the building. Be respectful of the people who live near the building by leaving quietly. Observe Centerville City speed limits!
• Please bring a food dish (salad, appetizer, main dish, or dessert) as the dinner is pot luck. If you are unable to bring a pot luck dish, please come anyway. In lieu of a pot luck dish, you may wish to make a donation to help cover the cost of paper supplies and fund our humanitarian service projects.
• If you have suggestions for speakers or programs, let Dennis Yeates know. His email address is 72mustangman@comcast.net or call (801) 295-4910.
• Your help is needed in setting up and taking down tables and chairs, and in the kitchen. Please come early and stay late to help.

Volleyball 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm Farr West Rec Center, 1896 North 1800 West Farr West. AGES 31 AND UP. The cost is $1.00 to cover the cost of the facility. There are 2 full (regulation) size courts.

Requirements: LDS standards of dress and conduct apply. No hats, shorts, grubbies or immodest clothing in length, style and fit. Attire must cover shoulders, chest and mid-drift to below the knee. Dresses should not lift or rise above the knees when dancing or twirling. No alcohol, same sex dancing, unkind or indecent behavior, piercings except for ladies earrings. All divorces must be final.

All dances are fun, safe and feature "Top 40" music both past and present.

Ogden South 31+ Fireside

There will be a recurring fireside every 4th Sunday in 2010 unless cancelled for a particular month. The fireside begins at 6:00 pm in the Old Post Chapel. The Old Post Chapel is located at the intersection of Shadow Valley Drive and Old Post Road. Shadow Valley Drive is located east of Harrison Blvd between 4800 South and 5500 South in Ogden.

July, 13th @ 7PM - FHE - A family home evening will be held on Monday, July 18th, 7 p.m., at the stake center north of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Kelly D. Donovan will be speaking on 'The Life of Christ'. Sunday Dress is required as we'll be meeting in the chapel. Refreshments will be served.

A social and dance will be held every 2nd Saturday of the month at the Tremonton South Stake Center, 1150 S. Tremont St., Tremonton. Socializing and games begin at 7:30 p.m. Dance instructions at 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. $3.00 donation for the dance.

Fireside - Painting the Life of Joseph Smith

Ogden 10 Stake Single Adult Fireside!! Sunday, April 25 at 6 P.M. at the Old Post Road Chapel

Elizabeth Lemmon Swindle, reknown LDS artist. Painting the Life of Joseph Smith as a Husband, Father, Brother, Son and a Prophet.

Liz Lemon Swindle began her painting career in first grade. Her first exhibitions were on the refrigerator, encouraged by her father. In the early 1980s she tutored under renowned wildlife artist, Nancy Glazier. In 1992, Liz began painting a subject matter she had long desired to approach: her faith. Her paintings are now held in corporate and private collections around the world and have been published in countless magazines and books. Liz and her husband Jon have five children and thirteen grandchildren.
