<p>Yes, it&#8217;s true. It looks like there will be a COD: Modern Warfare 2. <span id="more-60"></span></p>
<p>Bless its heart for saving us from the soul devouring pit known as WWII First Person Shooters. Information is tight on the title, but it looks like the game will be developed by Infinity Ward, the creators of the first Modern Warfare game. Which, I don&#8217;t think I need to say it, is good. Infinity Ward &gt; Treyarch (developer of World at War).</p>
<p>Activision has been pretty quiet on this one, but has said that they are shooting for a holiday season 2009 release. In my opinion, COD4 was the best in the series, so it will be interesting to see how the developer handles our expectations and (hopefully) raises the bar once again.</p>
<p><strong>Release Date: Q4, 2009.</strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I need a towel for the mess I just made in my pants after watching the teaser trailer for Mass Effect 2, the second game in a sci-fi RPG trilogy by epic storyteller Bioware. <span id="more-53"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The first Mass Effect was released to critical acclaim, and I too loved it. The story was great and the game was put together along the lines of mixing a RPG with a FPS, then shooting the whole thing up with crack cocaine. Literally, for the last 4 hours of the game you cannot unglue yourself from Commander Shepard and the climactic ending. All that said, what made the first game so great was that any decision you made in the game actually affected the outcome. That’s a promise that’s been made by many games, but Mass Effect actually delivered.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mass Effect 2 will continue to deliver on that same promise. Bioware has said that all of the outcomes from the decisions made in the first game will carry over into the second. So do not delete your saved game files.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The teaser gives the impression that Commander Shepard has somehow been KIA in the time between game one and two, but I think that’s total bullshit.<span> </span>I believe it’s just some clever marketing to get everyone’s panties in a bunch. Aside from that, how can you continue your saved game if you are dead? Who knows? If I’m wrong, and he actually is dead, it will be like that time my mom said we were going to the aquarium and instead she took me to the fish section in Wal-Mart.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Even with that possible disappointment, I have complete faith in Bioware to provide an incredible story and game.</p>

<p>So far, the trailers have portrayed the setting of Rage as a post-apocolyptic world with all the great mutants. zombies, and monsters you&#8217;ve come to expect from the genre. Apparently the game will use vehicles as a main staple of the game play which is the first for an id title. but don&#8217;t let that make you think for even a second that the developer can&#8217;t take something new and really roll with it. id Software has been a pioneer in the video game world when it comes to technology and gameplay. They practically invented the FPS. So with that kind of track record, and using the new id Tech 5 graphics engine, I&#8217;d be really surprised if Rage doesn&#8217;t bring something great to the table.</p>
<p>The title will be published by EA over long time partner Activision.</p>

<div class="descriptionCaseFeatures">It was no surprise to hear that this game was using the Anvil Engine from Assassins Creed. I could tell from the first video I saw that some of the Prince&#8217;s moves seemed a little similar to Altair&#8217;s. There seems to be sufficient new content and environments as well as the addition of an AI playmate, so I don&#8217;t think this is an attempt to make more money off Assassin&#8217;s Creed but with a new skin.</div>
