Formal recruitment is the main process the National Panhellenic Conference Sororities at the University of Nebraska at Omaha use to recruit new members. All women participating in sorority recruitment MUST fill out the required form:

Formal recruitment consists of four rounds of events that allow potential new members to meet each chapter and to learn what it means to join a sorority.

The Inter-Fraternity Council holds Formal Recruitment in the Fall. Formal Recruitment is an organized time period where you can come out and meet the men of the fraternities, build friendships, and decide which organization best suits you.

All men going through the Fraternity Recruitment MUST fill out the required form:

IFC Recruitment Week is very informal in nature. It is your opportunity to visit with each fraternity chapter and meet the members.

NPHC RECRUITMENT

The fraternities and sororities of NPHC do not hold a Formal Recruitment. To obtain information on these historically African-American fraternities and sororities and their intake processess, visit each of the organizations’ individual chapter web sites or contact the Greek Life Advisor at (402) 554-2711.
